Hello. No. We would like to remain on the Russian vs US scenario for the fighters but will have various scenarios in the next rounds ( weapons limitations etc ) About the FARP's we are trying to fix it but it seems it's DCS related. The server is open for testing and the changelog will be available soon so that you can report if anything doen's work properly. Thanks Greg -

Depends on the features we will add and have to test. :smilewink: For example the "just" change the airbases for red and blue will need to edit a number of 800 aircraft slots along with the other changes we move on. Greg -

I can't stop laughing.... :lol: I would nominate TaliG as he was one of the red guys awake at EU night time and also sending sms to me "Wake up the server is dead"... Well done Blue side! Congratulations to both sides for their efforts. Xcom will officially announce the end of the second round asap. Statistics about player numbers during the second round will be available also. Round 3 is around the corner with a changelog that will improve some aspects of the campaign and will introduce some new features. About the posts during last night. No you won't hear that "the blue side won due to numbers" excuses from the squadrons and lonewolves that can realise what this is all about. All gain and win in these events. Squadrons can measure their real numbers of active pilots, check their readiness, work on coordination along with the language barrier and achieve victories each day. Also fly on situations that they claim that they simulate. For example IL2TOBIAS claims that his squadron is simulating the Serbian airforce which was clearly outnumbered. I would be happy to have the chance to fly like this :) In a war a fight of 20vs6 and a 15vs0 is the same as the front is really big so the defence can't be so effective. Both sides have their chances. Red was close to win the war on the 5th day. That doen't mean that we won't continue working on balancing as this is the main issue of all MMO platforms. (SIM or games) As it's a fact that everyone enjoys the event and all come back to it there is not much to do about the whining and complaints. Sorry but it's not productive. Feedback at the other hand can help but you have always to remember that a wish of yours can go against another players wish. That being said we can start preparing for the next round and thanks again everyone for your participation! See you around. Greg -

Yes that event was 3 hours on each Thursday ... :D If you need ~250 registrations to have 60 pilots constantly in then you would need ~1000 to have 30 with one life per day as they would die eventually in 2x hours :P Welcome to a ruined server. But the most important thing is where will this help on any of the issues mentioned in the server? ( possible lag issues , server crashes, ground commanders exploits ) Greg -

:smilewink: As said also before it is normal that everyone wants to propose something for the event but it can't fit everything in as a new feature can ruin another one etc. You have to sacrifise realism in some times , a level of balance in others to make everyone want to come back in and have a nice time. Hopefully it can continue this way and the bad feedback is less than the positive. :) Would like to wait for 1.5 for that as now it can cause fps issues and the pilots with low pc's will warp and won't enjoy it much. Hello guys. Sorry but we won't ruin this event that everyone enjoy :) You will be the first that will come back if you get killed by a DCS bug as we know that the stability is unfortunately not so good still and will start complainting about your life lost etc. So ok you have some ideas but if these ideas will make this event the same as others that failed in the past sorry we won't follow them. Changed the Ground commander slots to JTAC's in order to improve temporarily the movements until we present the solution in the 3rd round. It's definately something Ground commanders were doing and caused the latest crashes. Server is getting back up. Thanks all. Greg -

No what you explain above is happening when the server has already crashed (DCS not responding) but you can still see it online for some seconds. ;) The server had really few crashes during EU night time when mostly US pilots are in so it's not related to pings etc. I know cause we didn't have to wake up :D It only happened twice in this weekend so it may be random or something that happened during the capture of an airbase (transport script , enemy ground commander effort etc) Greg -

Teamspeak is not mandatory but you will see that it increases the level of the operations. If possible I recommend that you get a mic and enter your side's channels. Hello. Thanks putting it up. Can you tell us if you tried any specific or saw anything that could be related with the crash? Also if anything that could be also same with the previous crash? (e.g. anything with the transport script, specific slot, ground movement etc) As this happened in the same occasions we may spot something that can cause it. Thanks in advance Greg -

Hey all. For the first round we kept in mind issues we faced on our events since 2014. From the feedback and meetings we changed some times during the 1st round and then presented a changelog for the second round. Now we have a changelog for the 3rd round. From our records (stats , reports , feedback etc ) there is no need to change things during this round as it would cause only problems. If there was such an imbalanced issue we wouldn't fly so intense for 1 week. Things like "The blue side has more powerfull missiles" etc are respected as opinions but it simple showed that it was never the case and both sides are having fun and play even. Also about the numbers during EU nightzone there is a huge improvement if you see the actual numbers in our stats. Working on this more though and we will soon have some more results. Noone will stay out and as everyone are able to have a nice time we simple won't change things regarding the way the server works. We don't want to stop anyone from giving feedback or proposing ideas but it's not that easy :) There are many parameters that you didn't include and the reason is not cause you don't know about mission editing or so but because you didn't have the chance to deal with issues that comes up when you mix up things with the scripts we use and the editor. Also there are many things that can solve some complaints but can cause worst like "an enemy ground commander got to our side moved all our units out of our zones and they are all destroyed" etc. About the ground units we also said before that the solution is being worked in another way (unmovable units). We keep in mind all the feedback and change things in the way it can be done in the current template. We would be also happy if it was so easy :) :thumbup: Greg -

+1 I hope more will look at it from that point. Both sides fight very well and even and have great times. Enjoy it now you have something like this. It's an event with features presented for the 1st time. By filling a thread with complaints instead of feedback won't help to improve the changelog which is underway and will be announced shortly. As said we mainly work on the ground units movement issue and things that can improve more stability. Stay tuned :) Greg -

Server is back. The server is not switching off. It just crashed and we just were sleeping. Woke up for some water... :D The total downtime of the Server during EU night timezone since the 28th of August is ~5 hours. As we are not able to add any other admin to the server for several reasons I think it's quite good. Stop moving ground units along with other things that can bring the server down and are mentioned before could help also to keep the server up... Thanks for you patience. IL2TOBIAS please stop it right away as you filled 2 pages with unnecessary info although all said that it's against the rules. Thanks in advance... Also please prefer to send reports about multiplayer exploits etc through a pm or e-mail as ED forums rules mention that they don't allow these kind of reports against players etc. Thank you all. LOOOOOL Why??? You get a message "Mission restarts in 30 minutes" , then "Mission restarts in 25 minutes" then "Mission restarts in 20 minutes" then "Mission restarts in 15 minutes" and finally... "MISSION RESTARTS IN 10 MINUTES". Also you have the the time counting on the webpage and gadget. Whyyyyyy? :D Can't wait to return home and listen to that teamspeak recording... I am curious again of what Aries could do this time... Greg
