"Not far away" is a relative term in DCS, so I would guess it isn't relatively "far away".

Just because you can pull 10 g's in an airframe doesn't mean it can take it structurally. Remember, older airframes have no flybywire that limits whatever you put in the stick, older airframes generally don't have as high G-tolerances as more modern airframes do. Just because you can pull it doesn't mean it can take it.

Reading "The Phantom in Focus" by David Gledhill atm. After the Falkland war they extended the runway with AM-2 matting (metal runway planking) so they could take-off and land with the Phantoms there. They also used arrestor hooks and cables to shorten the landing distance considerably.

It should be, in any airforce.

Hello, just got this module a week back and I have a problem where as the config warning won't go out after I load the data cartridge. Yes, I have triple-checked that I have the config switches in the correct way. For example, I have 1 external belly tank and only a/a missiles, I set config: A/A and A/G1 and still I get the config warning. Any ideas? Cheers!/Andreas
