You are trying to deactivate, not to activate. You sent me serial number with a deactivation code. To activate you need only the S/N. Remove the colon and everything after it. The remaining is your S/N. Deactivation code is underscored on the picture. BTW, deactivation code is obsolete in the latest StarForce version (the patch includes it).

Things worth trying: - Run FC in WinXP compatibility mode. Also make sure that User Account Control is turned off in Windows. - Disable full screen mode. - Reinstall FC from scratch (with deleting installation directory). But before installing it back disable User Account Control and run Setup.exe in WinXP compatibility mode. Please post the results here.

Dung_Beetle could you try flying in a plain field starting not from airfield but in the air. Notice the places or moments when the stuttering occurs. Is there any regularity? Q9550 is powerful enough there is no need to OC it, surely. The only thing I don't remember is whether you checked it for overheating. You said it's warm at home and your monstrous PC heats it up.

Try installing Russian patch one more time. If the problem persists, open the properties of bin\stable\protect.dll, there navigate to the Version tab and tell us the Developer value (I suppose the variable is named Developer, in the Russian Windows it named as Manufacturer :megalol:).

You can check your S/N yourself on StarForce activation web site ("Serial Number parameters" link): http://proactive.star-force.com/2.0/activate.php Everything is fine with your S/N. I would suggest contacting StarForce directly if your hardware code is stuck in the invalid state.

I don't know what can cause Invalid Hardware Code message. The only thing I can suggest is incorrect clock settings. If hardware code doesn't change from activation to activation and still invalid - consider contacting support{at}star-force.com

The deactivation is the only way to deactivate.

It isn't related to LOFC. Most likely it's because of some third party software. Anyway I would suggest to download comdlg32.ocx and place it in LOFC installation. http://www.givemefile.net/dll/dll_4410.html

Are there any records about the subject in windows event logs? Please check logs via Event Viewer. We need a full error text.

That's wrong. We've just disabled forced affinity assignment to the 1st core. Now Windows controls it.
