  8. Screenshot explains much. On the second dialogue with 3 buttons press the middle button to make StarForce to generate an error report. Send it with a short explanation to support{at}star-force.com with a copy to support{at}digitalcombatsimulator.com. It's an unknown to me StarForce error, so in any way, this case will be solved by them.

  13. I'll answer you here. In general we had to block your S/N due to license violation. But eventually, we have decided just to warn you, because you wanted only to test functionality and it's the first such case with BS. Regarding your questions: Reactivation doesn't spend an activation. Only a deactivation is spent. The number of activations left is displayed in StarForce activation dialog after each successful activation. Also you can ask it via any DCS support mailbox.
  14. First of all, automatic activation doesn't work for you, right? So you are forced to use a manual activation. Post here screenshot with dialog you have instead of shown in my small guide.

  19. In fact, I've answered you on Monday. I see 3 new emails arrived on this night from you. They are all about this issue, so I answer them here. PROTX support said that in this case: "our system was not given an authorisation code, nor was it given a decline message and as such if no response is given by the acquiring bank". It seems, your bank (card issuing bank) doesn't respond to PROTX requests.

  21. First of all I should tell that MD5 checksums are available in the mirrors list which is behind Download button. But anyway, error 13 means a currupt file. So I surely know what verification will tell.
  22. I've answered you on December 18, then January 22, the last email I've sent on January 29 from another mailbox (I guessed that the previous one hasn't reached you). Regarding the problem itself. I would advice downloading from another place with fast internet and trying to install there. It may be at work, neighbour, relative and so on. Save files to flash or burn disk and only after this, try to install from there. So you will surely know the distributive is intact. If problem repeats on your home computer then, most likely, one of your memory modules mulfunctions.
  23. First of all it's a good idea to check whether exe is really modified. Here is a free MS File Checksum Integrity Verifier utility (nice name for such a big, serious and important soft, really sounds like a government program). The correct MD5 checksum for DCS.exe is 878a817c3594a7188a1847ff1b617795 - If it's really modified, you can reinstall BS. - If it's constantly modified then... close all possible programs before installing and launching. - If nothing helps, you can follow the way of this solution (don't forget to deactivate BS before reinstalling Windows). Aha! I've found an open source alternative to a MS utility with a lo-o-ong name. http://www.ktechcomputing.com/hashcheck/
