  1. PeterP, I'l take a massage any day. However more to the point I accept you rationale, but, do you not think that this may be a beta, but just not worded as such? I do.
  2. All munitions have a safe arm system, where by, they only arm after being (a) dropped as per the correct release mechanism and (b) they are a safe distance from the aircraft, so that if they were to release and malfunction, the malfunction would not damage the aircraft. So in order for a weapon to function as designed, the pilot needs to release the weapon according to parameters and the weapon needs to be a minimum distance from the aircraft, be that time or distance. So munitions attached to an aircraft are unlikely to function in the event of an emergency landing, unless the munition is heated by flames. Impact, or general damage is unlikely to cause detonation. As a side note most modern bombs/missiles are initiated electronically and therefore are more fail-safe than mechanical arming devices.
  3. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the key for steam also works with the version downloaded direct from the DCS website, so much ado about nothing.
  4. Yeah, they've just decided on a peaceful resolution.;)
  5. I'm not using helios and don't want to, but got it sorted thank you for the suggestion.
  6. Any one have any idea how to map the IFCC switch? So from Off->Test->On and to On->Test->Off I've used an On/On/On toggle and have it so that it's basically an On/On/Off switch. But can't get the Lua to follow suit :-( Edit: It's just clicked, use an on/off/on and program the test to off which is possible and use the IFCC off as an on state. That sounds like gobldy gook, but it will work, trust me I'm a doctor.... and another idea, Just use the On/on/On function as all are mapped in sim....doh!
  7. DTOF is Desired Time Of Fall So my guess would be Low and High.
  8. Christian, sorry my German is not very good, so I can't help in your native language. Can you ask a friend who can write clearer English to post the question, as your English doesn't make your request clear. Können Sie bitten einen Freund, schreiben klarer Englisch können, um nach der Frage, wie Sie Ihr Englisch nicht Ihre Anfrage klar. (If that is offensive at all, blame google)

  13. 74th finidings From empirical testing done by 74th_Skeptic, we work off a lethal altitude of 21400 ft for the SA8. I must add that QFE must be taken into account too.
  14. Ahah Found it, if you are using VLC drag the bottom corner to expand.
  15. me too, nothing funny in mine. Just the GUI music.
  16. As I type this I'm holding mine waiting for the glue to set. Better tracking than the metal clip, but way too flimsy, definitely not child or old person proof (my son just broke it, but my Father made it fall apart 3 times last week when he was skypeing).
  17. Why don't you try an on/on/on 3 position toggle switch, each switch would override the previous as its all flaps. DPDT On-On-On 3-position Miniature Toggle. Useful for guitar pickup switching circuits. 5A 125Vac / 2A 250Vac contact rating. SW074 http://www.bitsbox.co.uk/switches.html
