Try leaving a bit more pause between recipient and command i.e. 'Batumi....inbound.'. See User Manual page 15. PM me if you need more help.

Yep JTAC is a difficult word to get recognized (speaking from experience here). Use aliases Operator or Patrol instead (see keywords refefence table) or create a new alias in the keywords editor. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk

@t1mb0b Disabled TX nodes make no sound, you could check in PTT page if 'map multi to single' is enabled. This would map all PTT to a single TX node e.g. TX1. Hit refresh button to check. PM me if that's not it. @epolta Good to hear. Other profiles won't reference the plugin, but the plugin will be loaded by VoiceAttack as long as 'plugin support' is enabled. Suggest to just select the profile you intent to use for the specific session, then restart VA and use that profile. That way it should work fine.

Hi Colmillo Yes I ran some additional checks with the Canopy command the other day. VAICOM PRO delivers the correct command and parameters to DCS (as you can also tell by the Crew's reply) but as far as I can tell it seems ED hasn't coupled any actual AI actions to this command (yet?). We may need to start a lobby with ED to get this one working, although perhaps between now and the next couple of weeks they may have a few other things on their minds first :D I'll look into it some more to see what else I can find out. Grtz

Hey thompson, good to see you around again! Correct, if you have a manual install you need to redo it after a DCS update for the two lua files in the main directory. Idea: for manual installs you can turn the appended lua files (RadioCommandDialogsPanel.lua and speech.lua) into a mod and use JSGME to easily restore them after an update. [EDIT] Latest build on the download page now features improved auto-install function. Actually this is in the manual: look on pages 19 and 24. Cheers

@Rob You get this message if you enter multiplayer without a PRO license. Send me a PM if more help needed. @Vampire Great, thanks for updating!

Hi wingshigh Please note that VAICOM 2.0 is now superseded by VAICOM PRO 2.5. The FREE version will give you improved functionality with roughly the same module coverage as 2.0. You are strongly advised to migrate to the new version, download it from here: http://www.vaicompro.com/downloads.html As general note: carefully check the audio input device used by VoiceAttack. For the Rift also inspect in Windows if AGC (Auto Gain Control) is enabled in the Properties of the recording device. Needless to say you need to wear the Rift HMD or have the headset very close for the microphone to have sufficient input signal. Feel free to send me a PM if you need more help.

@reilar Thanks for the update mate - really appreciated :thumb: [EDIT] SOLVED: VA microphone input device required reset. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk

@Bucks Multiplayer is a beta feature. Not everything will work with every MP server as they can do a lot of things in non-standard ways. If you get no crew this simply means that the MP server is saying your status is airborne. If that's incorrect then the fault is with the server. I'll do a test run with the 104 at some point. @Capt thanks for the update dude :thumb: [EDIT] SOLVED: keyboard shortcuts were disabled in VA. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk

It seems that you need to do a manual install, check page 33 of the User Manual. If you have placed your DCS World or Saved Games in a non-standard location automatic configuration will not work and you need to install lua files manually. Also check your microphone input device setting for VoiceAttack. Have a look and PM me if you need help. [EDIT] SOLVED: there was an issue with microphone input device. Hey capt - do you have the correct profile loaded? Also check if no other app (eg TrackIR) is stealing keys and that in VA keyboard inputs are enabled, the keyboard icon in VA window must not contain the red inhibit symbol. PM inbound. [EDIT] SOLVED: keyboard shortcuts were disabled in VA. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk

@locutos You need to select the view in VoiceAttack where multipart commands are collapsed into a single command. Look for the icons on the lower left in the VA edit window. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk

@all I'll get back to your questions, I'm away atm to spend some time with the family. The installation instructions are in the User Manual and the provided Install Notes. Simply follow them as described and there is no issue. The plugin generates additional files and subfolders on first launch. There is no download limit, files can be downloaded from the website as many times as you like. Hope this is helfpul. Haapy Holidays, Hollywood Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk

@Fisherman No it should work from any drive. Which is not to say that incidental snags can be entirely ruled out when it comes to specific installations. It has been tested to work on other drives than C:, I have a test instance here running on E: drive. Other than Tom's mention here (uninvestigated so far) I've had no reports of drive related problems after initial patch.
-
@warrene You'll need to check if your DCS installation is automatically recognized by the plugin, you will need to do manual install if not. PM sent. @Bucks Not seen it before but will keep an eye out if I can reproduce @Sobe You're on the right track - PM inbound
-
@t1mb0b No worries. For 1.5 you will just need to do a manual install: look in the User Manual page 33 for the steps.
-
Hi t1mb0b This appears when you switch profile. VAICOM PRO is single profile, switching is not needed. See post #21 / #22 on how to solve.
-
Thanks all for the generous comments  @sobe Sure you can add as many of your own commands as you like. In the profile there's already a category 'Additional' for that so for tideness you could put your commands in there. But you can also make new categories, it doesn't matter. You could start by editing the disabled *New command* into something that works for you. Have a look and send me a PM if you need further help with it.
-
@sobe Anytime mate, just drop me a note on PM if you need help @hans Cheers  @elnocho Yep working on that one @hakjar Cool, thanks for letting me know. Yes simply install over the old and it will replace.
-
Hey guys thanks all for the great comments, really appreciated  I had a look at the code regarding the Apply Air command and indeed I found a missing parameter for that one. Thanks for pointing this out to me. Let me run some further tests with it and then I should come with a fixed update soon. All the best [uPDATE] Latest build is now patched and available on the website for download. http://www.vaicompro.com/downloads.html Thanks

OK yes that should be all the steps necessary. Chatter should work with all modules. If you select Navy theme start chatter and haven't heard any audio snippet after a wait of let's say 30 secs then we need to see what's up. If so can you check by enabling debug mode in config to see if there's any messages in the log related to it. Thanks. [EDIT] SOLVED: problems caused by faulty audio driver, fixed once removed
-
@Buckeye chatter is a separate install see #33 @SD that's normal the subfolders are generated by the plugin on first launch see #29 @Spetz yep that should work catch you on PM
-
@hakjar Yes Chatter is a separate install, you can get it from the Downloads page on the website. In the email you will have received a separate license key for it: use the About page to activate. Send me a PM if you get stuck with that thanks. [EDIT] SOLVED: Chatter license hadn't been activated yet. @SD Good to see you around again mate! If you need a hand just give me a shout on PM. @Buckeye Sounds good. You may need to spend some time with the keywords reference table in the back of the PDF. The default keyword set is optimized for good overall recognition. You can use the Keywords Editor to further personalize this, i.e. look up the default 'Request Vector To Bandit' or 'Henderson' in the drop down list and add your own aliases e.g. 'Bogey Dope' and 'Boulder City',.. by using the Add New button. Don't forget to go through the FINISH steps to update the VA profile after that (page 27-28 ).
-
Hi Vampire. This is normal. Just follow the installation instruction and the plugin will automatically generate additional subfolders on initialization. Need more help PM me. Thanks
-
@Spetz Bear in mind that radio tuning via the Select command only works with Easy Comms On. Just saying 'nearest airfield' without Select will not change freq until you also issue a command for the recipient e.g. 'Request Engines Start'. I'll send you a PM with a check or two more regarding the refresh thing. @epolta Thanks for the update. It seems you keep menus open, as a test can you try the same with menus closed and let me know how that works. Ideally if you can enable debug mode and paste a log then I can have a look. Awaiting additional input could mean you need to allow a bit more pause time between recipient and command, see manual page 15. Also just in case double-check VA settings - recognized speech delay should be set to 0ms. Will send you a PM. Cheers [EDIT] SOLVED: symptoms were caused by mission editor / faulty mission file
