@epolta You'll see this error when you switch profiles, so it could be caused by that. VAICOM PRO works with just one profile and switching in a session is not needed. Select the correct profile i.e.' VAICOM PRO for DCS World' and restart VA. Then it should function normally again. PM me if somehow that doesn't fix it. Thanks this is helpful. You're having a socket load error in DCS.log same as the one Eric is having. It seems that this could be related to your DCS installation paths (e.g. E:, G: drive in these cases) where certain modules cannot be found in the paths where they are expected. I'll be looking into it and get back to you asap. [uPDATE] SOLVED I reproduced the problem and the plugin download file on the website is now fixed. If you have an existing install please first remove the VAICOMPRO folder with contents from Saved Games/DCS/Scripts and then replace the vaicompro.dll with the new download from the website. Restart VoiceAttack. Let me know if this resolves it thanks.

Hi Spetz If the refresh button does not update the PTT page this means that there is some connection issue so the commands will have no effect like you're experiencing. I'm sending a PM for a few details to see how we can get it sorted. Thanks

Articulate slowly at first, inspct the log how it was recognized and PM me if you get stuck @Karma Not yet but upcoming VAICOM PRO plugin will have support for the F-5E.

@sabotage If you're using Easy Comms OFF you could double-check that you are using the correct PTT key (VHF1 for ATC) and that the Intercom dial is set to VHF1 and not to INT for example. Radio power must be switched on obviously. If that's not it you may want to check in the log if Easy Comms OFF is properly recognized after Start Mission command. If it isn't you will need to tweak the _fetch_data.cmd script depending on which DCS version you are using, see '1.5openbeta' note attached to first post. PM me if you get stuck.

No doubt you all picked up this news by Wags the other day: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=196539 I'm sure you can see the benefit of having things pre-tested with the new version before it goes out. So in line with this announcement I'll be planning release of VAICOM PRO 2.5 shortly behind the release of DCS World 2.5. Given the above statement it seems we can expect this quite soon. @ Greekbull By default the chatter audio stops when window focus is lost. If you start it with DCS running and it will keep going. If you want to change this behaviour you can look up the _Menu_Chatter command in the profile and deselect the 'stop command if target window focus is lost' option.

@sc_neo VAICOM PRO (FREE/PRO) will not be a DCS module, it's a separate piece of external software that uses lua scripts to link into DCS. Think along the lines of Simshaker, HELIOS,.. It will be downloadable from a separate website. I'm no legal expert but as far as I'm aware there is no issue here and I'm abiding by all rules. Planned release for VAICOM PRO Hi all, As a brief update things have been progressing well over the last few weeks. Developing this new plugin actually turns out to be time-consuming stuff with lots of details to sort out and test :joystick: But, all with good result! We're now a couple of weeks away from the release of VAICOM PRO 2.5. Over the coming period I'll be working on the finalizations. If all goes well I'll be releasing on or around December 20th. @waistcat The error looks as if it could be related to VA not running as admin: double check the 'compatibility' tab of your VoiceAttack shortcut on the desktop and make sure 'Run This program as administrator' is checked. Send me a PM if that doesn't sort it. @steve Yes the L-39 should be covered in the upcoming 2.5 PRO release. @marcwoolery The VAICOM folder needs to be placed in the Apps folder i.e. in C:/Program Files (x86)/VoiceAttack/Apps. PM me if you need more help. All JTAC flows are supported by VAICOM so I would definitely recommend trying that. Test it with Easy Comms on first. Don't expect anything in initial release for 2.5 PRO though as I need to focus on core functionality first. Hey guys in case the menu doesn't open using your keyboard you may want to double-check the sthompson fix for the Static ATC mod see (first post). Also should you have a non-US keyboard make sure to check the note on the steps to take with that. Also make sure potentially interfering apps such as TrackIR are not stealing any keybinds. VA does not have this feature by default, but the VAICOM 2.5 plugin actually does support it. It accomplishes this by using its own optimized pattern matching algorithm. @JallieFR "can you add a command when using VoiceAttack ; press to transmit --> to MUTE TS micro too" You can actually quite easily do this already yourself. Use passthrough (see User Manual section on TS) and/or add your own keysend actions to the press.release commands with the sent keys corresponding to TS mic mute/unmute. @kunterbunt :thumbup:

@WhiteGuy Agree in this scenario with EasyComms OFF you would expect Kobuleti not to respond since you're not on their channel. It looks like it could be defaulting to nearest airfield for some reason. You may want to check the log if Easy Comms is properly recognized as OFF during profile initialization and also if there are no voice command misinterpretations. PM me if you need help with that. VAICOM 2.5 will support dedicated (HOTAS) hotkey options for non-comms command. But also in VAICOM 2.0 you can quite easily set this up yourself: In the profile duplicate the commands for 'Transmit VHF1 Press' and 'Transmit VHF1 Release' in the Push-To-Talk category. Assign the HOTAS button you want to use to both of these commands and then edit them so that they only contain the action 'Start VoiceAttack listening' and 'Stop VoiceAttack listening' respectively and nothing else. That should do the trick. @SpeedStick For release date I'm aiming well before Christmas so expect within appx 3 months from now. @JallieFR Yes VAICOM 2.5 PRO will support Normandy theater :thumbup:
