Also happened to me. My "player" plane turned to A.I. That's why , flying mostly Quick Start missions, I went back to last stable version of the game.

Hi there , I've got the same problem. What folder do I have to delete ? The one that can be found in DCS World/ demomods/aircraft (76 Kb) or the one found in DCS/mods/aircraft (130 Mb) ? I suppose it should be the one of 76 Kb. Sorry but as I am not a specialist , I prefer to ask. Thanks, Madcop

Hi , Could please tell me where to look to find these shader files. In my Saved Games I have 2 folders. One is named DCS and the other is named DCS.openalpha 1-I did a research in my "C:\Users\Admin\Saved Games\DCS.openalpha" There is a folder named "metashaders" with a subfolder named "metafx" The main folder "Saved Games\DCS.openalpha\metashaders contain "METAFXCACHE" Files and the subfolder" metafx" contain "METAFX" Files. 2-This is also valid for my "C:\Users\Admin\Saved Games\DCS" The Folder C:\Users\Admin\Saved Games\DCS.openalpha has been modified on the 11-08-2017 while the Folder "C:\Users\Admin\Saved Games\DCS" has been modified on the 31.01-2018 (date of my 1.5.8OB update to 2.5OB). My question is ... Shall I have to delete 1-\Saved Games\DCS.openalpha\metashaders 2-\Saved Games\DCS\metashaders 3-In both cases, shall I have to delete both the subfolders "metafx" Thank You very much for any help. Hello there P-51D fans. I am experiencing problems with my P-51D trims (Elevator-Ailerons-Rudder.) While they are responding to mouse AND buttons or axes I have no respond on the FM. All the visuals are working. Tried DCS repair two times with no avail. Windows 10. Thrustmaster Warthog. I have this problem since reinstall when going from Windows 7 to 10. I run everything as admin. Thanks for your help. No problem with other aircrafts. Madcop :)

Hello Rangi Thanks for helping, but as I said in my Edited former post, I managed to deactivate all my modules via Module manager. I hadn't spotted the Deactivation option at the first time... I was a little bit stressed !. Now all is O.K. Thanks , I appreciated your help. Cheers Madcop

Hi Mr RUDEL One more help needed. I can't deactivate my modules through Module Manager. When I open it , all my active modules are listed with their activation key. There are a EN/DESABLE button , also a DRM Button to activate/deactivate the modules and finally a DUSTBIN Button to remove the module. When trying with the DRM button it is not working as the window appearing contains my activation key and when I hit "Next" it says that this module has already a key and is activated. No way for me to access the deactivation window. My question is what have I got to do to deactivate my different modules? I suppose that the Enable/Disable button is not the good one and so should be the Dustbin one. Please help me once more , cause I have to bring my P.C. to the shop tomorrow for the update. Hi Mr Rudel Thanks for this last advice. I saved the PST and OST files as you said. I do not use the autocomplete feature but still saved the .n2K file., who knows ? Hi Mr. RUDEL., Mr.Rangi Thanks for all these tips. All is now safe. Just waiting next week for my new configuration. Going from MSI Radeon 6970 to MSI GeForce 1080 Gaming X is going to make a big difference I think. I am still on 1.5, with the new rig I'll go over to 2 and fly my Nevada Map. But from Windows 7 to 10 , I am a little bit afraid... We'll see..... I'll have to reinstall all my Warthog, Track IR and all that stuff. Hope that all I've done on Windows 7 will still be valid on 10... One thing I still don't know is how to save my Outlook. I already put my Office/ Office12 folder on a safe place as it is where Outlook is. Anyway, I think that with such a config. I'll be safe for several years. My mother tongue is French, well , Belgian French actually, with a little Dutch inside, typical from Brussels ! Thanks again for your time. Hi Mr.Rudel. Thank-you for your quick answer. You made me at ease since I thought it would be far more touchy than this. So, if I have it right I do not have to worry for my Program Folder. All I'll have to do after my new P.C. is running is to download again DCS World and install it. Once this done I will just have to go in the Module Manager and reactivate what I deactivated prior to my new installation. -What about my log-in, password etc... are they going to be still valid ? -Have I got to save all my purchases proofs ( DCS and Third party modules like MiG-21, F-5E etc...) Hello dear fellow simmers, I am about to migrate to Windows 10 and brand new P.C. configuration (New MB, GPU, CPU, SSD etc...) I am a little lost on what to do to save my game before to update my P.C. All my DCS with modules (DCS and Third Party) are on my C disk( SSD) where my O.S. (Windows 7) is also installed. Could you please guide me step by step for the crucial ops I have to save a maximum. I still have plenty places on conventional disks. Thank You very much for your help. Madcop :) P.S. Hi there all MiG-21bis aficionados Before posting on Bugtracker I would like to get your advise. Since the last update, whatever I might do , I can't get my radar on Selftest mode while on standby. When activating "Selftest", the screen is lightening normally with all the different symbols but won't get any further into the procedure. I am aware of the "warming" time that can go up to 5 minutes. When this happen all my systems are "on" and the engine running. I tried different ways but ... no way. Thank You for your help. Hello there... Is it me or is it still not possible to bind any of the following key bindings to a joystick or throttle button ( in my case TM Warthog + 3 MFDs). 1-ARK MODE ( Antenna/Compass) 2-RADIO SYSTEM (On/Off) 3-RADIO CHANNELS. 4-RSBN (LAND/NAV) CHANNELS. For instance when I try to implement the RADIO SYSTEM On/Off through the Controls panel, the corresponding line is blue and stay without reaction when klicking on the cases all through all my hardwares ( MFD-Joystick-Throttle). The keybinding is there anyway. Is it me only ?; is it keyboard related ( QWERTY-AZERTY ?). I am not mentioning the different SOD subsystems that are IMO not still implemented. I am on 1.5.3.50487. Thanks for your help. Madcop :smilewink: P.S. What's the trick for going back to the Bureau when on the DCS "greeting" window? I am trying the Windows key or Alt+Windows or Alt-Escape or whatever is possible but with no result and I am forced to quit the game. I am in full screen . Thanks

Seems buggy indeed. My method is the following. In ME choose No Flare then save the mission. Then Fly and the Flare gun is always there. Quit the mission and klick "Fly again". The Flare gun has disappeared. Strange but working ! Madcop

Bring back old memories. Yes , I agree , bring back the old system or give us the choice. I use a TM Warthog , a Saitek rudder and 3 Thrustmaster MFDs. I never used Target ( too lazy) and I can assure you that I am flying the MiG with all her buttons on their ergonomic places and with their devoted functions. All you need is two modifiers for the whole of the system and flight commands . 1 MFD is for the left side ( 28 buttons), the other one for the front panel and the last one for the right panel.( So, 84 buttons for the MFDs only and with the use of 1 modifier , you get 168 buttons ... and so on) DCS allows the use of multiple modifiers for buttons and axes . All you need is a little bit of imagination, planning and spending a little bit of your hard earned bucks. After that you'll feel the pleasure of doing all the gestures a MiG jockey has to do to fly this aircraft. After a while you'll feel that your finger is pointing automatically to the right MFD or Warthog button.('what a joy) All the TM Warthog and MFDs buttons were simply mapped through the Controls menu. I just HATE toggle button. For me button has to be pushed, pulled, turned, flicked up and down, pushed and released. For me a simulation will never be realistic enough, but ought to tend to, and for this I thank Leatherneck, who could still improve the update issue rate and spend more time on updating already sold product than on project. I always thought that such a policy could lead to such a thinking like " Now that we've got your money, just be patient while we use it for other product !( just my bad thought of course !) Hello There. I have just downloaded FC3.beta I have DCS World 1.2.2 running with A-10 and P-51D on my "C" HD. I understand I must first install Lock On ( CD) before installing FC3 Beta. The 2 questions are... 1- Have I to uninstall DCSW and then install Lock-On and after that reinstall DCSW and the modules includind FC3 beta ? Or, 2-Can I simply, without uninstalling DCSW and modules , install Lock-On CD on the same "C" HD (or other ?) and install FC3 afterwards on my "C" HD ? Thanks a lot for your help . Madcop:)
