Hi I have the original disc version of BS. I notice in DCS that the icon is only for BS2. I downloaded it anyway and tried my Key and it didn't like it. So how do I install BS1 into DCS? Thanx

Hi In the manual it says DCS-A-10C is a licensed "Entertainment" version of the DTS Simulator made by ED for the US National Air Guard. 1) Are there any pictures/film of the ANG Version? 2) And what are the differences between the 2 versions? Thanx

I have just been making missions and am in a fighter and the AWAC's calls occasional updates, but i want it to respond when i ask for info. In the controls i only see commands for nearest home plate and nearest fuel.

How do I get AWAC's to call out nearest bandit. I press / and nothing happens? Thanx

Hi I am trying to make a custom radio message be broadcast when i ener a zone. There is no event in the first column, and i have tried unit and coalition in the second column and tried several radio freqs and combinations in the 3rd and the .wav file never plays. Any suggestions or guides?

Hi Just did a test mission with several Radar Threats on the ground. I noticed when i prioritise the top 5 on RWR that an unarmed radar(BB) is 1 of the 5. I know it has the biggest range, but like i said it is unarmed on it's own. However it does support other missiles or at least give much earlier warning to the enemy. So is that the reason it's considered a top 5 threat instead of a SAM unit which i had much more than 5 on the RWR? Secondly the only SAM units i put in the mission were TOR's and Tunguska's . According to the PDF i downloaded on RWR threasts the Max alt for both is 19685ft. So why is the TOR shooting me down at 21000ft? Thanx

Hi. Might be a silly question, but i tend to use bank for my turns via the ailerons and never the rudder as it seems to cause bank as well as yaw if that makes sense. I'd love to be able to use the Rudder to line up straight on targets, but with the bank i get it defeats the purpose. I suppose i am not getting the little ball under the ADI centred? Anyway i only use the Rudder really when i am taking off. Is this ok or should i be using it for lining up on targets and gun runs etc? Thanx

I've tried doing this today, but couldn't get the Mav to launch. I kept getting the inhibit warning. This is while still having the TGP as SOI. Only way around this was to quickly change to Mav as SOI and move the slew cursor of the SPI and then back on it, which seemed to remove the inhibit. Is this right?

So that's no good then. Anyway to cut a long story short what's the quickest way to work out distance in this sim?

But doesn't the TACAN give me a bearing and distance to the airfield whereas ATC are giving me bearing and distance to a point to glide in or get further instructions..?
