Are you assigning a function within the DCS options that matches the keystroke in the TIR software for that? I thought that DCS picked up the hotas and therefore you could only use the hotas controls to mirror the real life function unless you used the target software and changed themif that makes sense?

Do I have to use any of the Saitek or Thrustmaster software with the Rudder Pedals and Warthog Hotas? I believe the Hotas is pretty much detected in the sim and I just assign the rudder function to the pedals in the options. Is that right? And if I don't need their software do I need their drivers? Thanks

Hi Is there any way or MOD that would darken the shade of Green on the HUD in the A-10C? During daytime in Nevada i am struggling to see it. Thanks

I know you can change the rotation spin of the CBU-87 cluster bombs in the inventory OSB of the DMS and this is supposed to along with the HOF affect the spread of the bomblets. So although the function is modelled on the DMS, is it actually modelled in reality in DCS? So does changing the settings in cockpit affect the weapons spin rate in practice in the Sim?

Bear in mind this is only an Alpha and not the finished product. The FC3 Map is not compatable yet with DCS, but will be made so shortly. In the meanwhile you can only use Nevada in the Alpha and you have to pay for that. So no Nevada no flying in the Alpha i'm afraid.

Hi I know there is software to record flights like fraps, but there is a whole lot more to it like internal and external views, commentary and editing etc. Can anyone teach me their way to do this or point out some tutorials? Thamks

Ok Saitek Pro Flight Pedals ordered. I appreciate i'll be suing different software for the rudder and Hotas, but there won't be any conflicts right?? Does anyone else use the Warthog Hotas and Saitek pedals?

Well my wife ordered me the Warthog Hotas and it arrived yesterday. Sadly I can't open until Xmas Day. I've been using the X-52 Pro for the last few years so having no rudder twist is going to take some getting used to until I can get hold of pedals. Do you guys have any recommendation for a switch or button to use on the Warthog as a rudder(I assume it has a shift options like the Saitek if I need to) as a rudder controller until then? Thanks P.S Are they still making the Warthog Hotas currently or are all the one's like mine stock that's still around from a discontinued line? Thanks

Hi I am 45 y/o and looking for either an informal squadron or friendly bunch to fly the A-10C with. I have been using the ED Products since Lomac in 2003 on and off and although experienced am rusty. I am not looking for a Squadron that has a leader and pretend to talk to an imaginary ATC, but a bunch of guys who get a mission and do the mission using first names on comms!! :) PM if interested.

DCS 2.0 by end of November Hi I notice in the latest news email I got that it says they are concentrating on the NTTR and DCS 2.0 first and pushing back the MIG-15 vs F-86 Tourney till December to concentrate on this. So are we getting 2.0 in November or at least in December? Thanks

Hi How do you stop your steerpoint changing to the next waypoint when flying over your current steerpoint. Sometimes I have multiple target sin an area and have to come back and it's annoying to see the HUD has changed the steerpoint to the next one in my mission flight path. I seem to remember there being a way to change this in the MFD. Thanks
