  1. Hi I'm having problems trying to FC with Mavs. I'm using the H model. I already have the Mav crosshairs over a target. Coolie Switch Aft Coolie Switch Centre TMS Down Short and the gate doesn''t collapse ever. However the moment I move the crosshairs away from my target it collapses and will authorise a launch. This isn't ideal as it's moving the crosshairs off the target and I have to put them back on. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks as always.

  3. Hi I can't seem to Boresight my TGP in A2A mode although I can in A2G mode. So although I can se planes flying in front of me i'm not seeing a TDC icon(Diamond) I can slew around to put on the planes. In fact i'm not even sure where the TGP is pointing. Any help appreciated.

  8. Thanx for the lase advice. I didn't know you could ripple the JDAM's. Whats the proceess for lasing? Just pressing the nosewheel steering button after turning the laser on?
  9. Hi I've included a track of a 4 bomb drop of JDAM's. Forgive the Autopilot as I'm concentrating more on targeting and bomb release in the track. Although I hit all 4 targets I've repeated the exercise multiple times and some of the bombs fall close but I'm lucky and the explosion destroys the targets, but I'm hoping for more pinpoint accuracy and not having to reply on collateral damage.   12. Hi Is there any way to turn off alarm tones. No master caution light flashing and I assumed it was a stall warning. In the controls I see Right Shift+N, but didn't work. Thanx P.S I know they are there for good reason. I'm just curious. :)

  14. Silly question, but how exactly are you duck taping it? Both the little prongs that hold the Pro clip in place broke last night. So only the cables are holding the clip to the arm and its flopping loose. Are you duct taping just the clip onto the arm or the whole clip an arm to your headsets?

  17. Hi I notice in the training bombing missions that I am being told to CHFL to slave the TGP to SPI. I haven't even got a SPI yet, as i've to designate a SPI from the range which is a Steerpoint The TGP slaves to the steerpoint. Now CHAL is Slave to Steerpoint not forward. So in the absence of a designated SPI is the TGP taking my Steerpoint as a SPI instead? So if the above doesn't make sense the condensed version is why is CHFL slaving to a steerpoint? Thanx
  18. Hi I have tried this in training missions where the AI has the Autopilot on(So surely conditions are nominal for Autopilot) and also in quick missions. I can't get the Autopilot to come on. EAC and EGI are on. The SAS switches are all up and I am flying straight and level. The Autopilot switches move, but nothing happens. Why? Thanx
  19. Thanx for all replies. I had no idea it is sim related and not me being me. :huh: Why don't the plane designers just let you use your windspeed indicators and leave the HUD nice and central?
  20. Hi As you can see in the picture I am pretty much straight in line with the HUD, but the most of the HUD display has went to the left and hidden. So I have to sort of lean to the right to see the display. I am using TIR5 Pro with clip and centre often, but this still seems to happen. Maybe it's my poor posture. Any advice appreciated.

  23. Hi Just reinstalled after a year and am using the X-52 Pro. I really struggle to hold a straight and level trim. My speed is constant so speed won't account from nose up or down once I've trimmed, but I just can't seem to hold it straight and level and will always have a wing dip or nose change height even if slow. Is this normal or am I just poor at trimming? Any trimming advice appreciated.:cry:
  24. Hi Any idea why wheneve i start to fly my A-10 that the TIR software says i am playing BS? Doesn't make a difference as I've set BS in TIR to use my A-10 profile. I'm just curious. Thanx
