Plane is good as its pilot,so not true :P Perhaps,but with a real flight stick, much more pressure and Two hands being required, itd be a new learning experience with or without perviously using a computer joystick. i never once stated this,i stated somthing was wrong not the game,nor the modeling,please read my post before you post :) no one would get in a 1 million dollar aircraft for the first time without one, joystick and xbox controller vs the real deal, neither would prepare differently for the real thing,one thing is for certain, we know where everything is :pilotfly:

Actually i did Sobek, that is how the user Stuntie saw what was happening,i did put up a track,mayby you didnt see it,now that i look at the track, its very obvious that the tailwheel wasnt locked,how could something so simple get out of control with the 2 mods that were in here acting so poorly?oh! and if a forum mod from ED tells me "It cant be done with a xbox controlleR" was enjoyable to prove them wrong,make sure to give Stuntie Rep that he/she deserves cause the ED mods didnt do anything helpful at all,mayby next time they wont judge a problem by saying its my controller when i cna fly just as good :Pmayby pass around a cup of hot cocoa with bunny marshmellows to chill out the mods here,i got better help from youtube posters, proably not long,but then again niether would a plastic joystick thats off to your side with some plastic pedals at your desk with a TrackIR strapped to your head

i wouldnt call this a helpful community but one person (stuntie) helped,so im happy :lol: no one on this game flies perfectly,(no one noticed my tailwheel was unlocked in my track) >.> and as for diffrent planes,P51D wasnt the only one to shoot down the Messerschmidt 109(the jet one) its all dependent on the pilot.:pilotfly:

stick forwords = unlock,StickBackwords = Lock. heres the results, dont mind the stall crashes,but the last landing was pretty good being my 3rd attempt in the P51 :pilotfly: the plane still wiggles around abit but now its normal,instead of glider in a blizzard! :megalol: please take this to the off-topic thread,ill argue with you there,but! right now im figureing out why the plane was acting that way due to the tailwheel being unlocked during take off dont spam my thread cause im actully trying to get some help with taking this thing in the air you posting and adding more babble doesnt help my case, side note i wast here in 2010 when the 2 p51's nicked wings and the blue one flipped ThanksStuntie!.trk

then that explains it. My controller keeps the flight stick centerd at ALL times.so the irradic flying im saying happening is the result of the tailwheel being UNLOCKED,bam ='s that. it took 5 pages to get somthing like that figured out. *facepalm*:lol:

So having it Neutral keeps it locked? Runway start or any start,always gotta test to see if everything is responding Elevators,Alelierons,Flaps,Rudder. my stick is always Center,so does that mean the tailwheel is locked?then again if that is true, my track also shows when the plane over corrects and tilts, i pull the joystick to pull it back down,unlocking the wheel,when the wheel is unlocked how does it RELOCK?

yeup, tailwheel locking postion, Neutral,forwords or backwords. another memberdidnt troll my thread and gave constructive advice, Stuntie. and im sure i oculdnt fly with your flight stick.my joystick is setup for 1 hand,i have it nailed perfectly and fly everything with it, ya cnat throw a Hellcat pilot into a P51 and expect them to start and fly it! :pilotfly:

Mark Stupid comments will be addressed not judged saying their is nothing wrong with the plane,just the fact im using a controller joystock is the issue, thats their arguments. i had one user address somthing to do with the TailWheel causing the Swerving, i dont belive anyone else meantioned that.

flown FSX for afew years, on jus a xbox control, max everything even got some payware, flies flawlessly, A10,Su25, flies pretty good, but with the P51, its not even the controls, its the way the plane reacts to invisible wind, i suggest you read before you speak, that way you dont look stupid :megalol: the tailwheel doesnt lock at dead center? :sidenote - thank you for being the one of the 2 people who had constructive advice :)

first off the little red box to watch your control postions ctrl-enter i belive, is always up,i do over react, but from learning, if i dont push harder,itll go off into the grass or itll whip around, as of now,ive only gotten that far by doing what im doing, i either under correct or over correct and respond quickly.that is it. theirs no middle man here.it actully is acting like there is a crosswind blowing from the left, cause it always leans and turns that way...hmm.. if that is the case, DCS has done a terrible job compared to more repeatable A2A and FSX P51D's. A2A did for sure get their hands on a P51D, they even showed a video of it, im sure DCS just looked at some pictures and their producers added some spice. but hey im sure 2 company's worth more can be wrong at the same time ;) so thats why the plane flies like theirs a 40mph wind speed when there is none hm? even in the air the plane bends to the left.

wrong, Rudder Peddles ( R and L ) Flight Stick (right stick) Left Brake (LB) right brake ) Rb ) keyboard, only for use for throttle and quick buttons, everything else i know where it is in the cockpit. its why i like DCS, i dont have to remember button combos.i can fly the A10C at my friends with just a xbox controller with just flight controls built in, everything else i know where is by hand and i fly that in the worst of weather with 0 visibility. and im telling you its wrong, the aircraft is all over the place with no wind ZERO i ahvent even attempted with wind yet,im slowly tweaking the sensitivity of the joystick JUST FOR the P51, the SU25 and the A10 fly FLAWLESSLY, this plane is just flying like a cheap foam plane,ive never once seen it do this at shows or on youtube wobbling like a RC plane. YES! i just found it, Triggers are Z Axis, the plane flies just as good as my rc tho,this plane is acting like im flying in a hurricane

in real life, diffrent era,but its not even the rudder control, i poped in my xbox360 controller to use the trigger's as rudders, the plane still dips and swerves, the problem is well,just not with the controller.

all keyboard,but with the Su25t and with my friends A10c i can fly with ease in the worst of weather.

i have Auto Rudder - OFF and i have 0% take off help. so, there was this install question something about advanced flight dynamics, this plane is just very hard to control, i cant stop to do anythign with it,its like flying in a hurricane,minus the wind! its like flying with a loose Rudder and stalling at the same time, in the air its worse. i dont see anyone else having these issues...

even at 0 the plane still swerves like the rudder is flapping around quickie.trk
