Here is some Steps from me to you about how to handle Firewall and anti-viris Reports. #1 Consider what you are doing,I.E (are you downloading are installing anything?) #2 IF you are installing Software DO NOT (again) DO NOT press (MOVE TO VAULT.Eliminate Process ECT) LEAVE THE WARNING OPEN UNTIL ( UNTIL ) The INSTALL IS COMPLETE. #3 Do Not Contiue in Removal unless your 110% Certain it IS a viris. 9 times out of ten A firewall will report APP.EXE on your CDDRIVE when its really a process that installs the game from CD to HardDrive. #4 Use the Internet! you have google look it up! dont just click one thing, click 3 that way you can be certain of its existence #5 LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! Where is it exactly? what drive? does it look familiar?do you know where it would be? if you find similarities say its in a game you just downloaded,what are the chances a company would have a virus attached to their own download link? Zero. these are tips i give to my girlfriend before calling me on what to do.

~FIXED~i made my own sounds and added afew mods and this patch really broke everything anyway to get my old files back and prevent it from happening again? i have to redownload alot of thigns to get the game sounding better ~FIX~ After updating the game makes a 000.backup in the game directory and puts the files there <- for future questions.

ill get it in abit, basiclly the oil temp and engine over heat within two minutes and will chance to cut out.

with both throttle and rp set to very edge of the green points on the instruments(gotta head cold dont remmber their names atm) i usully maintain about 250-350 speed at level or a slight climb speed. with higher settings that plane almost doubles that but the heat skyrockets. ive even tried by hand with no diffrence at all.

try using bittorrent, downloads arnt limited.

I noticed that for just level flight i keep the rpm at bout 40% and the throttle at 25% (keeping both in the green)keeps the temp in the green,but any slight increase in one or the other starts over heating the engine dramatic, is that just like how it is supposed to be or what?plane flys like a mustang for the sky even at 50% throttle. just would like a little info for keepin the engines coold down

with the P51 you really have to tinker with all the Axis settings. make a mission with nothing but hte P51 and you flying at 500 and try. i spent hours if not days perfecting the Axis with my own just FOR the P51d. and as for upgrading to WIN8, Why fix something that aint broke?win8 is worth as much as win98 :P

props to you! being able to get the close and accurately hitting the other player is nothing short of pure luck,ignore these stiffs about "bf3 jet ramming" they dont like being killed in fps's the same way in their simulators.too embarrassing i belive +2 for each direct hit with survival :)

i put in the bugs that the aircraft will start 'cradle'ing' when set on auto-pilot, there is a option for Reset Trims but it doesnt work oddly

Download DCS:World (its free) comes with the SU25t it does NOT have a clickable cockpit so its easier (but just as fun) ill tell you some basics for the SU25t to get you flying and blowing stuff up!NOTE the P51D is a CHALLENGE to even experienced DCS pilots! push 7 (not the numpad) the hud will change slightly and now you can use ground weapons! most weapons require you to be in a slight DIVE before deploying and will have a bracket (on the left side) of the hud letting you know when to drop(or shoot) your weapon(s) (if you have the TV thing) press O (not Zero) to turn it on and off R+Shift turns on the Laser Designator (for Missles) G is landing Gear (up/down) F is Flaps (slow flight) Shift + F (landing mode)(both are toggle)(let) CTRL + C is canopy Open/Close , W is brakes, i f you would like ill leave my email and we could od a Live Fire training session on the SU25t or you can keep playing around with it! the A10c has LOTS OF BUTTONS AND KNOBS, but once you start figureing out whats for what around the cockpit youll know what to do! happens at random for me sometimes it doesnt happen at all aswell,ive practiced landing with max takeoff weight so i dont have to use the chute unless i cant recover. You want to stick the landing (touch down in the dark skidmarks) heres my landing speeds 270km(lowest) - (highest)310km. Abort(take-off) if your halfway down the runway and your at 160km Personally i throttle back to idle at 100meters and hit the speed brakes aswell and while i am Brakeing on the runway i pull the stick back to make sure i dont Blow the Front Tire, hope this helps!

When ever i Engage the autopilot (even at perfectly stable flight) the Autopilot will jerk the stick to the left then the plane will rock from side to side from the autopilot trying to Correct itself but never succeeds. i love flying but i was getting sea sick from this bug. since their is 2 ALT holds. on the Auto-Pilot Lights,Top Row, the Far Left and Far Right lights are on.

I dont think its a bug.I was reading thru the SU25T manual and it said somewhere "when Over-shooting the runway, Retract Landing Gear and begin Engine shut down Procedure" i think your supposed to be able to retract the landing gear because it DOES make sense.

Update the List for the Russian Mig-17 thatll be a GREAT COUNTER to the P51

if you are having issues updateing, REDOWNLOAD the game from the site (before ou think or say anything!) they did a 'REDO' (my words) of their copy they give out to us, i didnt see anything anywhere until i asked someone at the 104th TS. Uninstall, Download , Install do that and you will see the 104th Server with no password everyone is really nice (unlike others) and might be able to get away without using a MIC.

I downloaded 'Crimean AW Su-25T Skin Pack v1' and the textures are showing up as errors, ive done what both the Site and ReadME have said and still no go, since the files were drag and drop how can i either A, Fix it or B, Delete the Broken Skins? thanks a ton!

make sure both of your copies are up to date,make sure your connecting using each others' IP example bein 192.168.1.110, also make sure to have the person connecting wait till you start the server before they even begin to startup their Client.the refresh button needs some tweakin

i have P51D atm but i could always hop into Su25t. lemme know the server you play on or lookin to play on ect :pilotfly:

i cant find one that isnt the CD Box Set, do you know of any place thats got a Digital Download? i dont want to buy a cd and box set just to have it collect dust, thats disrespectful of the game! :cry:

it says i needLockon Modern Combat for FC3, but i cant find it on the Eshop Or Steam, any place i can get a digital and not CD copy that will work with DCS:World? i really just want the F15 not the rest.

look around in the settings for ' Exceptions ' and try and find the .exe ,thats my guess,and as a side note, stop paying for Norton and get AVG 2012 free, its better and its free :smartass:
