you obviously troll this forum freely,not surprised, and as me and another member both told you to stop posting,i play Fsx aswell, i am NOT getting it for JUST ONE GAME Fsx,xplane(mayby if it improves) if they work for FSX. WOO, if they work for DCS , WOO, if they dont work with DCS , DONT CARE :D day 4 (5 hours total flight time)im sure no ones flight was 'Proper' XD!~ still have much to do and learn, ya dont need a joystick to fly properly,if you belive otherwise then you obviously dont know how to fly on a budget and belive your a good pilot with expensiv stuff the P51 didnt even dream of when it was designed Rudder,Elevators,Ailerons, Trigger.(idk if theirs 2 or not) thats all my controller is keyed for,(that and looking around) way i see it, if i can fly proper and straight with something you all frown upon, when i get a actual joystick with 20 buttons on it,i should be pretty set when it comes to taking out people who know nothing but what money can buy, P51d vs ME262 old tech(skillful) V hightech(skillless) as long as the joystick rotates left or right (for rudder) ill be okay, Track IR CAN wait,its mostly for fsx,i put my buy list up incase someone new better cheaper equipment,but all this forum does right is tell you your wrong.:Dthanks tho im pretty certain ive dominated this thread,please feel free to use the exit to your right or left,and enjoy your stay,ED's people skills need a real big bug fix, :D im done here, happy flying!

kay gona summarize for you, they said it is impossible to use a xbox360 controller, Yes full joystick pedals,throttle,flight displays,make flying simpler,and they ARE on my to buy list,i have them all lined up on amazon,just because i bring it up doesnt mean they have to use it,some people dont want to buy ssomething extra just to play a game they just paid for,the xbox controller or keyboard should be setup easier,so new players can say" ohh i see,this is pretty cool,but itd be eaiser with a joystick (goes and buys joystick)the way it is now is kinda derpish(hey this game looks good,oh i cant get off the ground,this kinda sucks..) i didnt choose to set it up as the same,it wound up that way by coincidence,i reset the settings for the joystick started from scratch, Yes all planes fly with joysticks,but not everyone wants to pay for a game, then buy somthing extra theyd only use for that game,just to see if they even like it,DCS:World isnt promoted very well at all and should be everywhere in ads. I understand Fighters are twitchy, but with FSX a passenger(and F/A-18) plane reacted teh same way, and i turned the Dampener up,woom bam, controls were slightly stiffer. yes i got the twitchy ness down,but again i would like it to be slightlyless,as everyone saw,the flight stick was moving everywhere but the plane was flying fine, idont even really notice that im moving it that much,love the plane,love the xbox controller, this is what im getting Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X Flight Stick Pro Flight Instrument Panel thats about it for now,gona keep lookin for some pedals that arnt 89$ x3

soon as i said ( I use a keyboard) all that was done wiht 2 pages was say how it cant be done and how i NEED a joystick,then i said "i tried using a xbox controller" then for 4 pages i was told how it wouldnt work lol and thing is i have a joystick and its set up the same way the controller is.and my friend has been tinkering with it all day and unless we loose some control with entire plane, a slight twitch to the left will put the plane on its side,im gona be playing with the settings regardless till their perfect,i might even look around in the .cfg as some friends said to look into.im gona be getting a sim package i made (more RAM,Throttles,Peddles,FlightDisplays,Flight Wheel) for FSX in the coming months,

im sure he means like one wiht a gps on your lap or mounted somewhere.

seeing as how ED(and others) said using a xbox controller was impossible,and yet here i am flying with ease(on Realistic),now trying to match it up with Superior results with extreme fine tuning(moving the slider only 1 or 2 high or lower to test results),i understand your point,them being longer Would help, but the sensitivity ( i might be saying the wrong word for it, Response time, Delay) so the cockpit reacts slightly slower,if i could get a xbox controller profile out, im sure more people would play this game knowing they dont need a 200$ joystick that MIGHT work,but a simple xbox controller they probably already have laying around,

i have all the right tools for the job, :) put it this way, i use my 10$ kmart brand drill to drill holes,you use a 60$ Drill to drill the same holes, job gets done regardless :joystick: i am doing it right, just theirs feature that the A10,Ka50,Su25 have that the P51 doesnt,and thats with the over all stiffness of hte stick itself, its what makes flying with a keyboard sohard with teh p51, press the key for 1 second, the plane is upside down ;) i cnat fly the p51 with a flight stick designed like a fighter-jet stick not realistic,so im not gona waste my money on it for now :pilotfly: Yep,did that way before i played the game isnt the stick,pluged in joystick (no idea what kind so dont ask) movedi t about a half inch ot the left, plane rolled fast, moved the xbox controller half inch rolled the same speed,

ive gotten it enabled before.. i held it and the light stayed on after that,i want that super charger on so i can hear it roar!

im sure with a joystick tthats how it would work, but actully with a xbox controller,it makes the plane difficult to fly,the over all sensitivty of the flightstick is what i need turned down, curves helps, but i start loosing control at the point im at. if you watch my last track, i cant pitch the stick all the left or right,

no dampener for the sensitivity,while hte xbox controller is possiable to play,it did take some adjusting. there is no dampener for the sensitivity.

even while landing its,the blue lights are brighter than the yellow ones,i was really looking for a mod,

ide like to see more grass airfields,

i tried it with a flight stick,idk what kind it was my friends, ididnt like how it responded with the plane,wasnt smooth rolling or anything,it was the quick sharp movement like with the controller,just with my entire arm doing it, idk, im pretty satisfied,mayby if i found a flight stick with alot of stiffness, thats what im missing,way too sensitive.

using the Brakes (left brake, LCtrl + W) Both W(Right Brake,LALT-W) and try unlocking the tailwheel (hold the flight stick all the way forwords Unlocks) Leave it in the center to (Lock) it when it goes back straight(doesnt not go back straight by itself you have to put it back straight) its all in the brakes!

<the F16 landing> thats as bright as they get for me, i see the taxi way lights before anything else,and ive actully landed ON the taxi way.that white stripe is all B-52's lined up on the taxi way waiting to take off, you cant even see the runway lights at 900 feet right ontop of them,

i know how it appears,but thats the smoothest i could get the settings,their is no dampener waht so ever,but how ever the plane behaves as i command it with a little thumbwork,i noticed the AI fly the exact same making fast littel adjustments to keep it where they want it.

there is only one mod involved: Realistic Sun 1.2.4 for DCS World ...and I also played with the gamma in my GPU settings a little. Edit:Oh sorry! - picked up a wrong settings screen-cap . I used "HDR=Normal" in the picture yeah i use um,same settingsjust a lower res,the run way lights are blue for me.. <edit>Epic Double Kill~

Yes,in which im practicing by my lonesome,itd be funner with others. here is my list of bombers to use An-26B . An-30 , Tu-142M , Tu-95 , Yak-40 , they are pretty fun to shoot at. well ide be pretty glad to join you guys, would be alot funner flying around with others,even if its just provive air support to ground forces :P

sounds good,but isnt there anyone with a 24/7 server with just. jeeps some tanks some buildings mayby some slow bombers flying around?

pretty intrested in playing multiplayer with the p51 :P searching everywhere and ive yet to find one :helpsmilie:
