Hi All I am all of a sudden having a problem getting my throttle designate depress to lock up a target using Mav Es and the targeting pod. I have had no problem in the past, even with the mission I have attached a track file of in this post, getting it to lock using TDC depress. I have watched Waggs video on this ( ) and believing I am doing it correctly. When I use the depress button you will see in the track file the maverick doesn’t see the target that I have designated with the TP. I am probably just forgetting something but I am hoping someone can help me out with this. Thanks Targeting pod-Mave e wont lock.trk

There were so many fantastic skins like Mig Mad Marine, The Huff and many more that are now unusable. I really do hope that they get and update.

Got it sorted out. I was not running the exe from the folder where it was installed. When I did that problem solved. I have mic clicks. Found the answer on the SRS discord channel.

Gruman Thanks for the tip, I checked the settings and the radio effects are on I sure wish I could fix this. SRS without the mic clicks is not all that much fun.

Mic click question When I first installed SRS earlier today with my squad flying spits on multiplayer I could hear mic clicks. This evening in a new secession with them in multiplayer I now have no mic clicks, This happened the first time I installed SRS months ago. I kind of gave up on SRS because of it, but today I decided to give it a go again. I have the same problem as before. No mic clicks. Anyone have any ideas as to why this happens? It really is a neat program, would love to get it to work properly. Thanks

Thanks for that little tidbit of info wrl11 .I will try that. I have thought that it may be something that is still a WIP issue.

Its not a shaking problem, The mav cross-hairs don't center over the target, even though the targeting pod on the target in point track mode.As in the above pics.

I'm glad to know its not just me. I know it will work because I fly with some folks who it works for and I have had it work occasionally myself.

Lately I’ve been having a lot of trouble getting my Maverick Fs to slew to what I have on my targeting pod in the F-18. I’ve watched a number of tutorials on it and I believe I am setting it up properly. I’m wondering if someone could help me out with what I am doing wrong. I’ve uploaded a couple of png files for you to look at. The one shows the targeting pod image with a point track on a tank. The corresponding Maverick screen shows how far off it is. Well, I ran the MFG configurator and I cant believe it but they were out of adjustment. I had been messing around with the big springs on the side of the pedals the other night and I must have knocked them out of adjustment. So my brakes were in effect dragging. Anyways it all good now. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Thanks guys I may be remembering the speed wrong, but I seem to remember being able to take off from Batumi with big load outs. I can only get about 125 to 130 kts by the end of the runway. I did notice that the engines only go to about 94% but not to 100. Been flying the F-18 too long and getting use to all the power I guess. I cant get close to 155 kts before the end of the runway. I also notice it take the airspeed indicator a long time before it starts moving. It starts at 50. The wind is 0. It just doesn't seem to be accelerating as fast as I remember it.

I am not new to the A-10c.I have enjoyed many hours of fun with it. That said, I used to be able to take off with a full load of Mavericks and GBU 12s in the A10C from just about any place on the Caucasus map. Lately that has all changed. I can’t get enough airspeed (around 125 knots which is what it used to fly at) to lift off even from Batumi with a full load. I use a Warthog stick and throttle with MFG Crosswind pedals. I have checked calibration on the brakes and throttle and all seems to be normal. It feels like the brakes are dragging or something, or the engines not developing the same power they used to even though the throttle calibrates ok. I have noticed that the airspeed takes a while to get passed 50 knots and builds much more slowly than it used to. When I do reach 125 knots and pull back on the stick to rotate, it doesn’t even start to rotate. ( It used to) The elevator is responding normally though. Has anyone noticed this also?

I'm really loving this A4 mod and thanks for it. I have a question, I cant for the life of me get the Mk 4 HIPEGs to fire. I have the A-4 guide and follow the instructions, Master arm on, guns switch to safe, select pylon , charge pods, set range, pull trigger and nothing happens. Any ideas on what I'm missing? Thanks for any help

Got it sorted. Had it installed in the main folder as well as the saved games folder. Ops!

A 4 not showing in ME or instant action I have the A4 (latest version A-4E-C.v1.3) installed like this: C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\aircraft\A-4E-C It shows in the module manager but not in the game. I have had it running in the past. I recently uninstalled and reinstalled DCS for another issue and have not been able to get the A4 running since then. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Mic clicks question My question is: Is there a way to change the mic click sounds? I have tried using different mic click wav files that I like better, naming them "Radio-TX-1600.wav" and "Radio-RX-1600.wav" but that doesn't seem to work.Anyone know what I am missing?

Thanks yoyo for your efforts, Sometimes I get static and no voice. It is strange. I can run the same mission twice and get voice and static and the next run (same mission) and get just static.

Please excuse my ignorance but what is SADL enabled? I don't see it as an option in the ME, unless you are referring to EPLRS being "on"

Well, after flying the simple little test mission I made for the 5th or 6th time I did see a small red triangle that I was able to hook my cursor to on the TAD. I think my problem was/is is my 70 year old eyes just didn't see the darn thing. I am finding the A10C challenging but a ton of fun! Wish I had an instructor to help me out though. Manual's and tutorial videos are great resources and I have watched many, but there is nothing like interacting with someone in real time.

I never see a red triangle on the TAD . Must be doing something wrong.
