  1. BlueRidgeDx and Eddie - thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge with us, mortals  In my virtual squadron we have spent a lot of time last months switching from game-like bombing to more realistic approach. It's obvious we were inspired by 476th - their videos, posts and documentation shared on this forum. We've been rolling in and out and smoking targets with BDU-33s like hell. But we were doing it without sufficient theoretical background, learning from our mistakes and analyzing tacview recordings, doing it over and over agin. Your posts have given us an opportunity to rethink our approach and to fill many gaps we had in our understanding of that matter. Posts like yours in this thread are priceless for people who want to get more from DCS than from any other game. And I hope you will continue to post them and you will keep contributing in such way to community of people, who are trying to treat DCS as an simulator and are trying to use it in a way possibly close to reality. One more time - thank you - and we're hoping to see some more soon.
  2. Speed is also important here. During your dive you started to pull up to 6G at about 415 kts. Not too slow for a hog:music_whistling:
  3. As far as I know they're not. They should work like flight director (and they do for steerpoint navigation selected on NMSP) but for ILS they're just repeaters of ADI/HSI indications. So if you will try interpret needles positions as you do for steeropint navigation you're gonna to have a bad day...
  4. Size of team is not the key here. Don't think like some project managers do, that nine women could give a birth in one month:)
  5. The solution for me was binding trim controls not in game, but in Saitek's profile editor. If you map them there as advaced or macro key sequence you can set the times they're pushed/released. Quantitizing time there to 0.05 will give you good sensitivity of trim. You can also set repeating of key sequence there if you want to trim faster when holding hat longer. There is a post describing this approach: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1349620#post1349620
  6. One question here Viper. How you came for 41 mils for 3 degrees? It will be about 13.67 mils per degree, but as far as I remember it's about 17,78. Could you explain it a bit because I'm a little confused.
  7. You can backup whole directory with input settings. It's located in your user directory (usually c:\users\[your_windows_username]) There will you find folder: Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input. Make a copy and when you'll want to restore your input settings - just restore this folder to original location.
  8. You asked for it. Tonight we'll try to do it with NVG stowed from 1nm from tanker. See you in cockpit:thumbup:
  9. Ok, then "de gustibus non est disputandum"...
  10. I think you've went too far with this assumption. I live in Poland and every time we have some visitors from Germany or other western Europe countries they say that they envy us that we have such good food. Especially bread and cured meat. And in fact we have a lot of small breweries that makes really great beers.

    Freezes

I can confirm it too. We've encountered that issue lately (1.2.2.7570) during 7 ships flight. 4 of us reported freeze at the same time, rest of us was able to fly for 1-2 minutes more and then got freezed too. Server survived it.
