  1. If you create the MK points for 8 targets, don't you still have to cycle each one and designate each before releasing each JDAM? When I'm flying into the "hot zone" I want everything setup so I just have to press the pickle button and just worry about any countermeasures. Perhaps I'm missing something here though.
  2. Thanks! I wasn't aware you could set QTY > 1 with different mission points and ripple them all at once. I am going to have to try this.
  3. I have the same problem so I emailed the developer. He got back with me and said the following: I only have Su-33 installed, so I tried uninstalling that but it didn't help. Hoping for an update to fix this but I understand the software is old and the developer probably doesn't have time to dedicate any longer.
  4. I just like being able to enter coordinates into PP mode and fire and forget. Instead of having to designate a waypoint, fire, designate another waypoint, fire. So much easier to just ripple them off without having to change waypoints. It would be handy though to be able to slave the TGP to the PP target though so I can keep an eye on the hits.
  5. Thanks! That is what I figured but wanted to confirm.
  6. So for example say I enter pre-planned coordinates for a JDAM. Can I slave the TGP to those coordinates without creating a waypoint? I realise I can create a waypoint, switch the JDAM to TOO and slave the TGP. Just curious if it can be slaved with PP. Thanks!

    How to?

You can modify the logbook.lua. See here for example: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2830501&postcount=181
  8. I had the exact same thing happen in this mission. I was also using the "Save" 3A. Went around twice and finally just landed and luckily didn't hit the hornet with his ass in the runway. Took a screenshot of it (attached).
  9. I just had this same issue with Mission 6 last night. TACAN set to correct frequency but showing wrong location. I think it might be some kind of DCS bug.
  10. That really stinks! Also concerning Buddy-Fox support is not responding. Have you tried plugging it into a powered USB hub or different computer? Do you get any lights on the UFC at all? Is the brightness knob turned all the way up?
  11. Yes I can map the switches in the control screen but on/off 2-way toggle switches don't behave properly. So one has to modify the joystick .lua file to make it work like it is supposed to. This is a common issue. If DCS Bios could interact with a joystick, it would be much easier to control these devices.
  12. Hi! I am trying to solve the same problem as you. Did you ever find a solution to this? Thanks!
  13. Is it possible to use a standard joystick buttons/switches to input to DCS BIOS? I have some button boxes I made that are standard HID joysticks (buttons/toggle switches). I would like to use them to "talk" to DCS-BIOS to have it map the controls. That way I don't have to pull my hair out trying to edit .lua files to get the 2-way toggle switches to work correctly, etc.
  14. CDU should compute elevation for you, no need to enter. You switched to grid 38T right? This video might help:
  15. Yes you should be able to take out Grouse and Grask without going below the clouds. I haven't played this mission in a while but it worked perfect last time I tried it.
  16. I contacted StreamDeck about my PAUSE issue and they didn't have a resolution. I ended up remapping the PAUSE command in DCS to ALT-P and just programmed that with the StreamDeck. Works like a charm.
  17. Hi! Just starting to play with DCS-BIOS and I'm would like to know if it is compatible with ATmega32U4 based Arduninos? I have some spare pro micro clones and I'm wondering if they would work. I see the following in the DCS-BIOS documentation: DCS-BIOS supports boards that feature the ATMega328 or the ATMega2560 microcontrollers. That includes the Arduino Uno, Nano, Pro Mini and Mega 2560 boards. But I wasn't sure if others like the ATmega32U4 were also supported. Thanks!
  18. I ordered mine on 5/21/2019 and it arrived at my door on 6/1/2019. So about two weeks. I imagine with COVID-19 right now shipping times will be much longer though.
  19. Your new script works perfectly!!! I think I did have a writing error in my original attempts and then things got worse as I kept testing. This is AWESOME!!! THANK YOU BOTH SO MUCH!!! :-) Do you plan to announce this in any other communities? I think a lot of people would like to use this and probably don't follow this thread. The Hoggit reddit page would probably reach out to a lot of people. If you don't plan to announce it, do you care if I do?
  20. By "offline" do you mean single player? This isn't working for me in the F18 or Huey. It works in the A-10 though. I even tried "hard coding" of the of airplane ID's but that didn't work either. I think it might be something with my config.
  21. Amazing NEWS!!! I will test this out later tonight. THANK YOU!!
  22. Yes there must be something more to this configuration. Wish it was documented somewhere. Would REALLY love for the MASTER CAUTION to work with the F18.
  23. Hi all, I run DCS with a 2nd monitor to export MFD's, etc. When I open the kneeboard it opens on the 2nd monitor and is unreadable. The same thing happened with the A-10C module and I was able to move it successfully by making the following edit to this file: DCS World/Scripts/Aircrafts/_Common/Cockpit/ViewportHandling.lua --dedicated_viewport = {default_x,default_y,default_width,default_height} dedicated_viewport = {0,0,787,1050} Now I thought the mod above was supposed to be a global mod and move the kneeboard for all modules. That does not seem to be the case. I looked at the DCS Kneeboard Builder but it seems to be overkill for me. I also use OvGME to manage all my mods so I would prefer to just edit the .lua file myself if possible. So anyone know how to edit the .lua files to move the kneeboard for the Huey module? Thanks!
  24. Excellent!! I will definitely try your mod to make Cargo View more natural. I would like to use that view as it seem the most "realistic". Thanks for all your hard work on creating these mods AND keeping them updated!!
  25. That worked!! Thank you!!! Now I have the cargo indicator on the main display.
