Thanks Chic!!! This helped me out a lot knowing the indicator should be working. I did some testing and found that it actually is working, but it's being displayed very small on my 2nd monitor (which I used to export MFD's, etc). I need to figure out how to move this now. Any idea how to do that? Thanks for the "Cargo View" suggestion. I hadn't noticed that and it does work for me. Like you mentioned it is very disorienting, so I am going to look into the mod you provided but I ran out of time. Ultimately I would like to get the cargo indicator moved onto my primary monitor so I can use that now while learning. Eventually (once I get better at this) I would like to use the Cargo View as it seems more realistic. Thanks again for your post, it helped a lot!

I'm new to the Huey and working on my cargo skills. I'm having trouble knowing when I am hovering exactly over the cargo to pick it up (and drop it off). It looks like there used to be a cargo camera (which is still in the key bindings) but from searching it seems that it was removed. I also see a 'External cargo indicator' in the key mappings but that doesn't seem to do anything either. Has this also been removed? Looking for tips to on how to precisely hover over a cargo or drop zone. Thanks!

Is it possible to modify the DCS-raygun.lua file to use the MASTER CAUTION light for other planes? I see in that file the following line: gArguments = {[404]="%.1f"} 404 being the DCS Master light ID from "DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\A-10C\Cockpit\Scripts\mainpanel_init.lua" Is it possible to use the ID's for other planes?

With Ikarus, is it possible to assign a keyboard shortcut to a switch? I would like to assign a keyboard shortcut to the kneedboard switch so I don't have to use the mouse to flick the switch. Thanks!

Thanks McMicha!! That worked perfectly! I missed the part about the kneeboard requiring a switch. Once I added that everything worked perfect. I have a much better understanding of how this software works now. Thanks again!!

Hi McMicha, I did look at the A-10C profile. That is what I modeled my UH-1H profile after. How exactly is the Ikarus kneeboard supposed to work? Does it replace the DCS kneeboard? Or is it in addition to? When I press "RShift - K" on the keyboard, should the DCS kneeboard pop up still or should it be the Ikarus kneeboard? Hi, and thanks for your response. I do not run full screen because I export the MFDs to the second monitor (for the A-10C). Starting to learn the Huey so I wanted to use the external display to export some of the gauges for that module since I had the monitor already connected. Ikarus works perfect for that. That is when I noticed the kneeboard option in Ikarus and tried to use it but I can't get it to work. 3440x1440 main display 1920x1080 second display (small 8") for MFDS/gauges I can create a kneeboard panel on the second monitor and get it to display, but I can't get it to overlay over an existing Ikarus panel on the second display. Nor can I get it to display on the main monitor at all. Hope this makes sense. I might be trying to do something not supported. Thanks again!

Hi, Is it possible to display the Ikarus kneeboard over top of the main display? My 2nd monitor is small and only used for MFD's/gauges and the kneeboard renders too small to read. I would like it to display over top of the main display but when I create a kneeboard panel in Ikarus with x/y position in the main display, it never shows up. Am I doing something wrong or is this not possible? Thanks!

Hi all, just got a Stream Deck. Really liking it so far but I can't seem to get the PAUSE button to work. It seems to map fine but when I try and use it in DCS it doesn't work. When I PAUSE/BREAK key on the keyboard it works just fine. Anyone have this working? Thanks!

VERY nice setup!! May I ask where you got the mount that holds your stream deck and connects to your stick mount?

I agree, just doesn't look as nice as the Buddy-Fox. I'm considering trying to use some green led strips to light it up across the top. We'll see how it goes.

I have the same problem! I would love if the alternate functions were backlit. I would pay for a new panel as well. They do sell a backlit UFS panel here: http://pcflights.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=47_62_65&products_id=340 But I doubt it would just bolt on and line up.

Hi all, I have tried mission 3 (Countermeasures and Threat Avoidance) about 10 times and I keep failing. I'm able to get past the first round of AAA guns by rapidly changing my elevation up and down. The SAMs are another story though and I keep getting hit. Any tips for avoiding those and completing this mission? I'm getting frustrated. Thanks!
