Thanks for the advice all, I had a few priivate replies one in particular who was very helpful. Anyways I have placed an order in for the Warbrd and Alpha grip its in preorder so no idea how long it will take to come.. hopefully not long. Whats the thoughts on the feel of the warbrd ie does it center nicely, does it feel loose / slack.. Also with regards to the flip trigger on the alpha how exactly does that work seems confusing. Seriously when will Open Alpha be done. Don't know if I missed any news regarding a 2.5 release schedule but its getting hard to believe that I bought into the Nevada open alpha nigh on 1 year and 4 months ago or so and its still at open alpha. How much longer is it going to take ? I think I have been more than patient enough. I believe that ED is juggling far too many balls at the moment with all the new modules and now the Normandy map is being pushed. I assume that the Normand map will also be released as an open alpha. Well the only way I'll be buying into any new maps is if it comes with a completed version 2.5. I stopped purchasing new modules due to 2.5 taking so long and am getting a bit bored with all the recent updates focusing on Normandy new beta aircraft or module sales. I have plenty of aircraft its 2.5 I want released so any news or even speculation of the potential release date of it.

Was there ever any official documentation with regards to the full procedures, cant remember ever seeing any. And does the procedures differ with the various aircraft.

Just getting back into DCS again seeing as alpha 2.0 is out Anyways stuck on the topic title. How exactly do you go about doing the following Repairing Rearming Refueling I just landed at Batumi turned the dial to intercom chose F8 to speak to ground crew but no response. Do I need to shut down the aircraft ? cant remember. If someone could remind me of the full procedure for interacting with the ground crew to have the aircraft serviced I would be eternally grateful :)

Yeah its a great manual at a very good price. I also bought the KA-50 one too and its equally as impressive. I did attempt to upload other DCS manuals to https://www.lulu.com/ to have them printed off for myself and have them available for others to purchase them if they wanted. But I ran across some error involving embedding fonts and have no idea how to fix said fonts so that the manuals would be accepted. If anyone knows how to fix the DCS PDFs with regards to the fonts problem would much appreciate a heads up. Cheers

For those interested in learning combat manoeuvres and BFM. There is a pretty good guide that teaches the basics although more focused on WW 2 combat called In Pursuit - A Pilot's Guide To Online Air Combat Google the name for a free PDF that can be downloaded. The other guide that I can recommend is The Art of the Kill - Pete Bonnani which is an excellent read on BFM focused on modern air combat. You can obtain a copy of this simply by purchasing the Falcon Flight Sim collection from Good Old Games. This collection also includes Falcon 4 which will also allow you to use the excellent BMS 4.33 mod. that totally transforms the sim to modern standards. Am not sure what to think after the horrible last 3 films that Lucas spat out. The only saving grace for this one as far as Iam concerned is the fact the JJ Abrahams is directing it but I guess it all depends on how much lee way Disney give him. It looks good but... we'll have to wait and see

My bad, I was looking at the mission in the editor and must of made a change and saved accidentally. Reloaded the mission from my back up and it worked fine. Thanks for the fast reply though. Cheers Loving these missions, although tough nothing a spot of practice wont overcome.

Having problems with the BFQT 3 practice mission. All goes well to start with but once I'm down to 2500 and flying between 200 - 250 and heading to way point 4 I get no message to turn left to waypoint 5. I am forced to turn left due to high ground dead ahead and so mission is terminated. Why I am not getting the scripted message to turn to waypoint 5
