  1. Hi Nesher :) We found a couple of bugs during multiplayer game between people with the mod installed and not installed. :) (thanks to Azrayen :) ) We had to rewrite a fair amount of the part we modified in the MEInit, but in the process, we added some little nice extra features :) One side effect is that we have to test/tweak again all the missions of the campaign :) Besides that, the 2000C is 70% finished :) We'll post some screenshots :) Thanks for your post :) Cheers :) Hub.
  2. Hi launyeh, Considered the fact that you posted in french that : - the cockpit you went in was not the one of a Mirage 2000, but the one of another aircraft you cannot remember (french Mirage cockpits are tight and that's an advantage : the whole pit is almost part of the HOTAS system :) , besides they are well known to be "practical"/functionnal/ergonomic) - you were misinformed about the high capabilities of the Mirage 2000-5 (you were probably confused by the same delta shape shared by the Mirage IIII and the Mirage 2000, too bad : they are light years away in term of performances / generation : and by the way, the MIII got whacked for strictly the same reason than the F-15 got busted during A/A training : it was almost impossible at this time to get a IR missile lock on a well flown Harrier and dogfighting against this plane was quite special and difficult because of its specificities : very high thrust without AB, huge decceleration potential, very good endurance at low level) Could we get some apologies in english, for posting too fast a lot of crap on such an aggressive manner ("national trash"...) ? :megalol: And by the way, as already said by others, I still don't understand your point : - do you have any idea of the time necessary to reskin entirely a cockpit and go around the game limitations to get a decent result ? That was huge... Thanks for your opinion ;) - we are playing a game, we don't care about having the best airplane... We just want fun :D Hub out :)
  3. Hu guys :) If you want, you could add the 999th "DevilPenguins" to your list : small squadron, but a lot of ideas :) Cheers :) Hub.
  4. Hi Pilotasso :) Do you mean that an AMRAAM shot in HOJ mode doesn't raise any alarm on the SPO / RWR of the target ? :) Cheers :) Hub.
  5. Thanks for your posts :) To keep you informed, we are currently fixing a couple of little issues we found between players with the mod installed and players with a "standard" Lomac installation :) The idea behind the mod was not have any prerequisites and to be able to play it freely on HyperLobby / public servers, and that means a lot of testing / tuning :) and -compromises-. Actually it's a real brain twister to be able to play the mod almost "transparently" and to be at the same time as "realistic" as possible :) Meanwhile, we have finished the 27 campaign missions and are working on the briefings, but the fixes we are doing will probably have some side effects on the mission contents and would probably force us to have another look at it :) Cheers. :) Hub.
  6. Thanks comrade ! :) Hub.
  7. /BUMP :) I'm sorry, I dont speak russian, and I was wondering about what happened to this very, very nice projet (see : http://forum.lockon.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=5930&d=1148369719) Cheers :) Hub.
  8. Merci beaucoup Aeroscout :) Thanks for taking the time to post in French :) We appreciate :) That's exactly what the cockpit(s) of the mod are all about : re-skinning :) Considered the fact that we cannot alter / create a new working 3D pit, that was the only way to get a "taste" of Mirage :) The photoshopping was a hard, long, job, because it was about modifying real Mirage pictures, to make them fit to the Mig29 cockpit. Skinning a real 2000-5 would probably have been far easier, or at least, the difficulties would have been different, because more related to fidelity / realism and less to "make up" :) Anyway, thanks a lot for the way you expressed your post (personnal opinion / analysis) :) Cheers :) Hub.
  9. Thanks for your posts guys :) The mod should be available at the end of this month (August). And we will post a public download link (with probably some mirrors) on the forum :) Cheers :) Hub.
  10. Thanks to you for caring about the mod and asking the good questions :) We definitly tried to go as far as possible in the reskinning process, but if you have any remarks / suggestions, feel free to ask :) Cheers. :) Hub.
  11. Yes and no :) : - yes with the pit of the Su25T we are using for the 2000C, but the work is still in progress and we are not sure we will be able to overcome all the difficulties we are facing (it's really hard core reskinning :)) - no with the pit of the Mig29S used for the 2000-5 : the way the textures are mapped makes very difficult / impossible to get a good result :) Cheers :) Hub.
  12. I know what you mean :) We got this discussion about the rear ward visibily among us. As a result, considered that : - you cannot "lean", ie twist your head over the side of your seat in Lockon - the visibility from a Mirage seat is not as good as in a F-16, but not that bad either : the very small size / width of the cockpit and the distance between the head of the pilot / sides of the plane / canopy help a lot :) - it was very difficult / impossible to skin a good looking "rear" part of the pit. We decided to get this maximum rearward visibility : Thank you very much again for your interest in our project / your suggestions, we appreciate :) Cheers :) Hub. PS : Lothamroth was using modified "custom" visibility settings / view angles to shoot its video. In the AdA mod, it will be far more restricted (ie default values) than in its teaser :)
  13. Yes :) Absolutely : the mod will be available as freeware, free for downloading by everyone :) Cheers :) Hub.
  14. Thanks ! :) And We will be there !!! 3DS Max in one hand, Photoshop in the other, a very thick heap of Mirage cockpit pictures on the laps and a lot of coffee on the table !!! :) We definitly hope this day will come :) Hub.
  15. Hi The_GOZR :) There is -no way- to modify the flight model of the flyable aircraft in Lockon. As a result, we decided to use the one of the Mig29 :) The reasons behind this choice are clearer in this post answering Pilotasso question :) Cheers :) Hub. PS : The main thread about the AdA mod is here, in the "mod" section of the forum, but considered that a lot of people only read the post, here in the "main section", here is a screenshot of the reskinned Mirage 2000-5 / Mig 29 S cockpit :
  16. I'm sorry Shalnoi, I don't speak russian :( I don't know if you speak english (or french maybe :D ? ) Anyway, I'm not sure I understood the result of the automatic translator (babelfish) I used : but if you asked if the mod will be shared, the answer is : yes :) , the AdA mod will be publicaly released at the end of this month (August 2007) :) спасибо :) Hub.
  17. Thanks a lot Highwayman :) Hйhй :) Sorry 159th_Viper, we did not mean to hurt you, considered how much you can get injured by Croissants and black coffee , I better like not to think about the pain inflicted by Tea and Scones :D:lol: Anyway :) The release is planned for the end of this month (August) :) Cheers. Hub.
  18. You mean, something like that Colt40Five ? :D Hub.
  19. Merci beaucoup DPS :) Et de rien pour les sous-titres, c'est bien naturel :) (*) Hub :) (*) Thanks a lot DPS :) And you're welcome for the subtitles (closed caption), that was natural :)
  20. Hehe :) Actually we have a little problem with their cooking : weight !!! Too good -and- too much food on the table is the direct way to too more kilos :) Grazie mille :) Hub.
  21. /Auto bump :D Sorry for bumping it :) But considered that I asked you not to reply in this thread but in this one, that's the only way I have to help it from sinking too fast :) Cheers :) Hub.
  22. Everybody is right : you have : - the "basic" flashing indicating, as IronHand put it nicely, that your missile is guided and in progress. And it starts flashing as soon as a missile is fired :) - the "advanced" flashing, where the circle flashes by changing its size ie shrinks and grows :) That means that the radar has lost the lost and you need to do something very fast if you want to regain it and not loose a missile :) Hub :) To get back to the initial post, IronHand gave you the answer, RadishRabbit :)
  23. Thanks !!! :) And about the Rafale, it's more or less under way with a cooperation in progress with other people :) But it sill a looooong shot :) It's your lucky day  !!! Both of my grand mothers are italian !!! :matrix: (I don't speak the language though... real shame...) As a result, I won't ask my cousins from Napoli, Tony and Marcello to take care of you... :D :) :prop: About the beta, I'm not the only involved / able to say yes or no :) I'll ask my buddies (or maybe my cousins... :prop: ) :) Hub.
  24. Hi Colt40Five :) I guess you are not the only one to dream about it :) You can always fly the Mirage 2000s in Falcon (see here), they are pure jewels :) And even if the sims is a bit "outdated" on the graphical side, you can get a -lot- of fun in Air/Air missions : the complex avionic and and the high quality / resolution of the cockpits make you forget those issues. But for ground pounding, it's a bit more a difficult.. (at least for me :) ). We know it's cruel :) But we could not help ourselves :D The 3D models of the 2000 used in our mod are the one from Lockon. I guess there are some template around :) About the black skin of "Les Chevaliers du Ciel", that's a great idea, but we have already one included in the mod :) Yes :) And meanwhile, you can even get a cheaper / simplified version : http://www.flyingmule.com/products/MP-5396
  25. Thanks a lot jonob66 :) Thank you :) And it should be out by the end of August :) (we'll try not to suffer too much from the "two more weeks" syndrom) Héhé Highwayman-Ed :) Thanks :) It should be good to have the F-15 cockpit skinned like a F-16 / F-18. About working cockpits, the only thing you can do right now in a pit, is to -skin- everything differently ie to modify the textures. The positions of the instruments and the 3D geometry cannot be altered and it seems that .lom export is not a solution (all pits in Lockon right now are .cmd files, including the ones of the Su25s) : actually, you can use a lom model as a "static" pit, but when it comes to use the arguments, to move the needles and display a HUD/MFD, things go wrong :( And yes, the Jaguar is the "the plane that can only take off, because the earth is round" ;) :) But still, it has something special and would deserve to be in Lockon :)
