I apologize for not getting back sooner, been busy with the little one. I figured it out, it was Ralt + Home and Rcntrl + Home instead of left and I have since learned the start up procedure, quite simple really after only a few times, thanks all for the help.

Ok this is becoming frustrating to say the least. I am trying to do a ramp start and my throttles will not move up into idle, nor does the key press Lalt + Home and Ralt + Home do anything what so ever, when I fly instant missions the throttles work obviously, but, when trying ramp start they do not move, but, all the other buttons move such as APU, Fuel Flow etc, etc. I need help please because I cannot fly any mission what so ever unless it is an air mission...boring.

None of it worked, guess I will need to learn the manual way asap.

Ok this did not work and I would like to hear from those who use the TM Hog Hotas if there hotas interferes with the scripted start up procedure? do I need to set my Hotas buttons a certain way so the scripted start up works such as Throttle idle, APU switch off, etc, etc. What is happening is that I am starting on a Ramp and push the Rwin + Home button to start the start up script and the engine sounds start up, a few buttons are clicked, the canopy closes and then it stops and no more clicks or engine sounds. Nate said to put my throttle at idle before canopy closes whic I did and the Master caution light/sound comes on and after awhile it all stops again....what am I doing wrong?

Hello all I am trying to fly Dragons JTAC day mission and each time I start in the hanger with engines off. so , I hit RWIN+HOME (?correct buttons) to start my engines (not manually starting them, just quick start) and they seem to start up and some buttons are being pressed, but, when my canopy closes the engines start winding down then there is nothing happening? I have on my TM Hog Hotas the APU in start position and the Fuel flow buttons up, can someone explain what it is that I am doing wrong please? thanks alot.

Yes thank you, but, unfortunately I saved my settings to the default Hog Hotas profile like an idiot so I need a clean input file or input lua for the TM Hog Hotas, please anyone help?

Could someone who uses the TM Hog Hotas please send me the original "input file" so I can reset the control inputs? I copied my input file after I made changes so I cant get the original settings, thanks.

Hello all, I setup my mic switch forward and aft as my trackir zoom in/out slow button and used my NWS button as a modifier to push along with the mic switch forward/aft for my original radio AM/FM buttons, BUT, it seems my NWS button does not activate the NWS function anymore when I am on the ramp and wanting to taxi which is a problem. When I go to controls/HOTAS section and click to add and press the NWS button under the Nose Wheel Button section it says + joy btn3, were as default is joy btn4....very confusing. When I hit add and press the NWS button only the modifier section will show the key press and not the "key section".

Can anyone direct me to a simple mission to practice this, I am not to shabby with the editor yet unless someone would like to tell me in quick steps how to set this up. I am familiar with using it but not sure about adding JTAC and all.

Nate could you please explain this more to me, does this mean you can increase/decrease the engine volume alone while keeping world relatively high volume? "Add Gain = 0.5 to each (or adjust to your preference)." do I simply increase/decrease this 0.5? Thank for the help.

Which sound controls the engine volume in the sim? need to turn down my engine volume to be more realistic inside cockpit, thanks all.

Hello all, I would like it if people would please post tracks of anything related to flying there A10, could be single player missions, user created missions, quick missions or multiplayer. I love to watch tracks and each time I always learn something from them, could be a way of inputting coords, better enemy tracking, quicker MAV tactics etc, etc. I would love to see them whatever they may be and I think others would appreciate seeing others fly and how they do what they do, so if this is ok with you all please post them here no matter what they are...thanks alot. Does anyone know if this "diveplanes complete audio package dcs a10c BETA" from LockOn files will work properly with the Final and recently patched new version? thanks all.

EtherealN what do you mean you move that up in "control configuration"? yes I use the TM HOG HOTAS and it is very slow and a bit difficult to get used to, I suppose in time.

I was wondering which missions on this "Mission" page are good to fly with the Final Release version of the sim, really want to fly some of these on here, but, not sure if they are compatible, thanks all.

Anyone have any good MAV tips, mainly like slew speed and setting up a shot, I know how to fire a mav and set mav to my STP but mainly having difficulty with the slew speed on 3 and setting up on the target, do you all stay quite a distance away while doing this? what is best setting for the slew speed? thanks all.

Ok please help me with this those who can, how do I go about setting my mic switch UP button to Teamspeak? this button is not used in sim on the throttle and I would like to use it for teamspeak, any ideas how to do this, with Saitek which I used before it was simple, but, I am trying to dial in my new HOTAS and this one is excellent but different as well, thanks in advance.
