I using Moose exclusively due to the variety of things I can do with it.
It has a great object orientation to it and once you get he hang of it there is alot there.
Zone management is very good.
Many predefined classes for CAS, Arty, CAP, AI Control, spawning, air traffic, carrier ops etc.

Glad to see the focus on Bug Fixing. Hopefully the Combined Arms Pathfinding and the carrier issues the impact the Tarawa get some serious love!

Love the way DCS is talking up the AV-8 on the newsletter. To make this truly viable, you need to fix the fact that the AI cant land on the Tarawa. That needs to be fixed ASAP. You can see LSO messages on the Tarawa but they do not land correctly. Its a mess.

Not sure if this is the right spot for this but my understanding is the code used for Supercarrier is also used for the Tarawa. At this time the Tarawa is useless for AI because they do not know how to land on it. See Attached. Will this get addressed.

looks like Tarawa took a huge step backwards. As stated before 2 builds ago the AI harriers to doing a proper landing by hovering next to the ship sliding over landing then taxing off. Now they have gone back to their old ways of trying to land normally like the supercarrier and dont taxl. AI is useless on the current build with the Tarawa.

Static objects don't move, but the animated crew should.

odd because that has a posting date of 4/16 but shows 4/24 newsletter date. Dated information as well.

had come to the same conclusion. There are alot of assets in the air and on the ground that are missing from this but a very intriguing map. Really puts a new perspective on how this battle must have gone with the Allies roaming far and wide in the air. On item of note
36 b17's bombing a target = slide show until the bombs have exploded.

Torpedoes from U-boat or S-boat could be fired to unmoved targets only
MP: Ship speed calculated with errors and drifted, so aircraft can slide on the deck

Looks like the Tarawa continues to benefit from the AI Carrier changes DCS is doing. AI Harriers are landing more realistically. One glitch so far... if you land two AI Groups of 4 on the deck with STatics in the foresection, the lead plane of the second group will collide with a parked aircraft as its trying to park in a filled position. The other 7 however are finding slots.
Also some aircraft tend to land directly on the deck instead of an offset hover landing... its really close though.
