  1. hey guys, here's my track, the problem happened at the end of the track, as you can see as i was going closer to the ground, i was pressing the boat switch at the beginning of the track to see if that's what was causing it but it wasn't, it wasn't until i got really low that i lost control, again it's at the end of the track thats when i crashed. New Track.trk
  2. hey guys, yes i get the autopilot warning and a red box with an X on the MFCDs when im getting really close to the ground, like below 2000 feet or so, @billposters i will give that a shot about unassigning the arrow keys from the flight controls altho i don't usually hit anything other than pulling the stick back when im pulling back up, again the auto pilot is not engaged when i dive, i rarely use the autopilot as a matter of fact i assigned the throttle button to a button with a modifier on the stick so i don't hit it by accident, I will make a track tonight and i will upload it. thanks.
  3. got it will do! thanks!
  4. hey guys, as soon as i figure out how to post a track i will thanks.
  5. @Wichid, they are all set to one axis only. @Massoud, that's exactly what i have to do, i have to wrestle the stick to get it back to fly again, the plane is not overspeeding on the dive (i bring the throttle back and open the air brakes if needed so it doesn't go past 300mph) @EtheraIN and WilBillKelsoe, i have no clue on how to do the tracks or take snap shots of record video of the game, if you guys wouldn't mind pointing me to a thread that examplains how to do this i would be very happy to do this, thanks!
  6. Thank you both!!!!!! This is so much better!! Set pinky and clutch as modifier!
  7. Hey, nah I just installed dcsw as the installer prompted me to I have dscw with p-51, a-10c, fc2 and bs1, bs1 and fc2 are in the (x86) All this happened right after installing dcsw, no mods or nothing ever since.
  8. Thank you guys, My x52pro sucks, it freaks out in me often (the mfd doesn't show correctly and it freezes on me mid game often also it's way too loose, maybe I got a bad one or maybe it's because Im Oma Mac running bootcamp, I want a better hotas, the only reason the x-65f looked cool was because the f-22 and f-16 have the force sensing but I have been dreaming about the WH and I also don't have tracker or rudder pedals so I really need those, I ordered trackir on amazon and i 4 days later since it hadn't shipped yet I just cancelled the order so now I saw eBay has them a bit cheaper so it's a new reason to get it, maybe I can get it for fathers day, I guess I got a few weeks to get my girlfriend pregnant....
  9. Hi guys, I noticed some really weird things since I I stalled the DCSW on FC2, #1 suddwnly when I create a mission every plane shows as fly able, when I pick say the f-18 the cockpit is the su-33 cockpit's but I can't control th plane at all. #2 the SU-27 is invisible only weapons and pilot's body show #3 the a-10 has no pilot and sometimes the engine and weapons are transparent #4 the a-10 and f-15 look like they do on DCSW (like high resolution outside the cockpit) All these things started happening after I installed DCSW. Just curious I didn't see it as a huge deal since I will upgrade to FC3. Thank you in advance:)
  10. Hi guys, Is it common to lose control of the aircraft when you dive and get too close to the ground? Usually I'll get the "warning, autopilot" sound and then suddenly I lose control, sometimes I don't get the autopilot sound and I will still lose control. When I say I lose control, I mean the plane feels trimmed but it's not, trimming tabs look centered and me trimming the plane won't help, is this common? Can I disable the autopilot when I dive, BTW I also get a ,essage in a red box on the mfds. Another thing tha has happened to me is the stick on the plane moves itself, usually it pulls towards the pilot, it's like it counts, 1, 2, 3, PULL!... Again and so on. Thanks in advance!
  11. I own a Saitek x52pro, it doesn't have enough buttons for the a-10C as it is, BUT using the pinky and clutch buttons I am able to do it easily, the problem is that I gotta create a profile for each plane from each game, if I'm in flaming cliffs I gotta close FC2 to switch to a-10c when I close one I change the profile for my joystick to the a-10c, with DCS world I would have to close the program every time I want to change the profile which is not a huge deal but if I forget to do it and switch planes then I gotta stop the game and close the program, pain in the behind. If DCS had an option to say press any 2 keys at the same time to access a control that would be huge because I would be able to bypass the x-52pros profile software which always freaks out on me, I've tried doing this before but couldn't if this is already possible and you can guide in e right direction I'd appreciate it.
  12. So far so goid, i noticed when i crash landed the p-51 that there was sparks under me, then i tried the hog and dropped a bomb and the explosion looked great, kinda like the falcon bms, amazing work!
  13. Another reason why the next DCS jet should be the F/A-18
  14. Hi Guys, i'm now in the market for a new stick, after all my research i've learned that the warthog is see (and i don't doubt it) as the rolls royce of flight sim sticks, i don't know if i want to spend that much on a stick though, as a musician i'm used to shelling out thousands of dollars for equipment to always get the best but in this case i don't know if it's that worth it to spend the money, so i figured i'd ask for some advice so i know what's my best way to go to. Currently i'm looking at 3 set ups, CH Fighterstick and Pro Throttle TM Cougar (easy to find on ebay for about $200) Saitek X65F TM Warthog the CH has a great reputation, Pros: i've read about it the stick has all the buttons i'd need for the warthog and sounds like it'll last. Cons: No Rudder, feel isn't the same as something like the X52 Pro (which i own now), light weight plastic, the throttle doesn't have the right feel, looks like it was made for colecovision TM Cougar Pros: meant for the f-16, has more controls than my X52 Pro anyways, looks like it's as well built as the warthog, cons: old model, no dual throttle, not sure if it's a USB unit by default, sounds like a lot of people modify it, do i have to as well?? Saitek X65F Pros: Has all the buttons i'll ever need and then some, seems to be well built, it looks like the F-22 stick and throttle Cons: force sensing sounds like something i'd have to get used to it, i have a horrible taste of saitek, their software freaks out on my often on the x52, i have to unplug it and plug it back in often, it's happened during flight too. TM Warthog Pros: metal construction, buttons require the right pressure, it's meant for the A-10C and it seems like you could even fly and f-18 or f-16 with it easily (for when DCS releases them :P) Cons: It's the most expensive one and requires rudder pedals. anyways, any advice would be appreciated it, my limit would be $500 for this, i'd rather not spend more than $300 for each purchase (i will eventually get rudder pedals and i really need to get TrackIr)
  15. As Ragtop said, you just use bootcamp and it does all the work for you, it works great just sucks to restart every time but not that big a deal, actually you can even run a-10c on parallels but it's kinda buggy and lags a bit when you run it on parallels
  16. Hi Guys, i must have this on the training but where do i check how much ammo i have? also i think i know where the fuel gauge is (under the right leg, under the sit itself) am i right? the reason i ask is because on the campaign and training the gauge is static so i don't know if it's because the missions are set to unlimited ammo and gas or what, thanks in advance
  17. Hi guys, I put together a pdf with all the keyboard commands for the F-15 on FC2, i had looked for this but never found it so i figured i could share it, it's on my site at http://www.roxxxtar.com/media.php
  18. http://www.thebattlesim.com/?end_pos=9&lang=en&scr=list&page=1#545 i found that, just speculation but you never know... "Currently nine flyable aircraft (A-10A, F-15C, Su-27, MiG-29, MiG-29, Su-25, Su-25T, Su-33, Ka-50) with more under development (F-16, F/A-18)."
  19. i have a very dumb question, how do i monitor my FPS in game? thanks!
  20. i had the same problem, i have a Saitek X52 Pro, when i went to the options page i saw that they views that were assigned to the POV hat where all highlighted red, so what i had to do is use the smart technologies software that i use to assign keys to the buttons and assigned the views to the tophat, it's basically the numpad, that's how i fixed it.
  21. Yes! basically that but instead of linking to other sites just have all the data within the same site. I've already started putting info together, hopefully i'll get some more feedback so it can be something that everybody in the community can contribute with.
  22. Hi guys, i was curious, is there a place where you can easily get info about ED sims? by that i mean, if i wanna know how to turn the engines on and off, or how to switch to TWS radar and what TWS means and how to use it, even something like how to take off the right way, is there a place like that for new players and players that may not have time to play as often and need to refresh from time to time? The reason i'm asking was because when i came back to flying in FC2 after years of not being able to (because i switched to mac) it took me a long time to learn basics, things that i had to spend hours researching from multiple websites and what not, simple things like how to use TWS, what the AWACS means when it talks to you, or even the tower, simple things. Because of that my thought was "Hey i'm a web developer, i can make a website (free of course) where you can go in and learn all your basics for the game, how to use the weapons, what AWACS is talking about, what TMS and CMS stands for and so on.." I'm totally willing to put the time into this, provide the server, interface and backend (so i can assign a few people to add to it) It would be a fairly big project but as long as i have some input from the community i'd be more that happy to get this project started.
  23. thank you! thank you! i was able to download it and run it after setting everything up, but it's always stuck CONNECTING TO SIM, any ideas on how to fix that? thanks!
