Ryan that's sick, altho the carrier crews are way busier than the airport crews, It would be a good start considering that the f-14 is coming, it will need some carrier crews to make it better eel right, start with the airport crews, even things like what parking spot you are HAVE TO park at would be cool. One can only hope!

I would be surprised if its NOT both the f-18 and f-16, maybe they are working on both at the same time, hence why they say even the aircraft may change, I mean we know nothing about how they do things in their office, Im sure they got plenty more aircraft and vehicles overall being coded, I mean look at the P-51D kind of a surprise to many, in the end whatever their plans are I trust they will make the right decision when the time comes and release the new American fixed wing jet, after all they are the people that brought us the A-10C Warthog, arguably the best combat flight sim to date.

WOW thats a HUGE difference, the A-10A on FC2 and the SU-25T have a huge difference in feel, the A-10A and F-15C are so easy to fly, landing is a cake, they do it themselfs, the su-25t does feel very different when landing and taking off, i didn't know the SFM was what's used for the LOMAC type aircraft, that makes them not worth it to me as study sims on any of them, i don't care if they have simple avionics i wanna feel like im flying them. this is SAD, altho i really, really hope you are wrong because this made me sad...

Can somebody please explain the actual differences between the SFM and AFM? is it Flaming Cliffs 2 compared to A-10C? yes one is Standard the other one Advanced, but what's the difference? why are people upset about this? does it mean the plane will not behave as they should? aircraft will be easy to fly? easy to land? lower resolution graphics? physics will be that different? what does AFM provide that aircraft that SFM will not? If somebody that actually KNOWS about this (without guessing or assuming) could clarify this that'd be great, i'm very curious since this has been talked about since 3rd party developers started to come out. Amazing news! I also love the idea of civilian aircraft in the world, I'd love to fly a cessna or a 747 but with better graphics and overall better engine than xplane or fsx, I guess I just want one world to fly in with the best physics, graphics, sounds and so on possible.

Hi golfsierra2, thank you for the replay, I have the pause and sensitivity commands disabled on trackir and the center button is on my joystick, still nothing, I get a popup when I try to save controller changes that will not let me save it

I couldn't work on windows anymore, hence why I have a similar system as you except I have double the ram but no SSD, the only reason I have windows is because I need to test websites on Internet explorer and because of ED'w products, I have amazing performance on mine, I have ALL settings at HIGH, on a-10c, p-51d and FC2, plus you have the one of the best monitors out there, I don't do the 1080 on mine I do 1440 so the resolution is amazing, If you are experiencing performance issues I would reinstall bootcamp or try updating all drivers You can get ram here http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/iMac/2011/DDR3_21.5_27 That's where I got mine, no complains.

hey guys, it won't work with fc2, it works with a-10c and dcs world but not fc2, i actually can't use the keyboard when trackir is running with fc2, i can't even unpause the game, any ideas?? thanks!

Hey Guys, is there a guide to multiplayer by any chance or a place where i can learn a bit on how to use it? i've been flying with flaming cliffs for years on an off but only in single player, not im on fc2, warthog, p-51d and bs (which i don't play just bought it to support ED). I would love to learn how to log in, how missions are played, you just log in take off and kill things? whats the deal? thanks!!!

Spanky just said on the IRIS simulator thread that they dropped 1 plane from their list because another developer was "already working on it" im assuming ED will stand behind 3rd party developers that they have a contract with and if say IRIS has a f-14 survey wil say A2A has a study f-14 they would both be limited to certain things like speed, fuel, weapons and so on when u battle against them. I mean we got an f-22 coming but theres no AI f-22 what if we get a harrier or a ZERO sim? We would all have to have at least the AI version, im guessing the developer would provided an AI version of the plane to ED that will come as part of the world which would mean ED will decide which version to use for ai and what version has the right data so no matter if u r playing agains the study or survey sim the person flying it will be limited to what the DCSW's AI is limited to if its the same plane. Im sure ED has this figured out already and we'll hear about it soon enough, now lets all go back to refreshing the e-shop's page until the combined arms "BUY IT NOW" button appears :-)

Hi guys, i have a question on that, i understand what the modifiers do (i set up my x52pro with 2 modifiers the pinky and clutch) but im not fully sure what the switches is exactly, I set up the FIRE and PICKLE on the stick as SWITCHES just because I noticed that you can label them, then i noticed that i couldn't assign those anymore, so i deleted them from SWITCHES, then i was able to assign the fire and pickle again but in-game they didn't work so i had to reinstall the world to make it work again. so are these switches for MODES? if so are they supposed to be latching switches? or is it for switches that would send a command as if the key was always pressed? The reason im asking is because i want to build a panel with standard switches and buttons for all the planes i fly (A-10A, A-10C,F-15C and P-51D) and i have a bunch of toggle switches, pots and so on that i have from building guitar pedals, im looking for the right joystick controller but im wondering if that would be the way to set up switches with a joystick controller. Thanks

I tried uninstalling fc2 and lomac, everything worked except my old missions i had made were still there even tho i deleted all folders left after uninstalling, thanks

hey guys, when i crashed that was me letting go after the plane started banking to the right, basically i would level it up then let it go and it would just bank right, i was diving but right before i crashed thats when i lost control about 40 seconds or so the plane was just rolling to the right and all i was doing was trying to roll it back to the left that's why im confused
