  3. I usually check the videos at airboyd tv, I found this one showing a A-A refuelling of two hornets and a Hercules, nothing wired. But one of the hornets is carrying a pod attached on the bottom of the fuselage, under the cockpit, you can see it clearly at 5:30 on the video. I can guess it´s a recon pod, but can anyone identify it, i never seen it before. Thanks in advance for your answers
  4. Can anyone explain me how to post a you tube video? Sure it´s been written many times, but sorry, can´t find the way. Thanks in advance.
  5. OK, Thanks Sith for the link.....
  6. Amazing photo FoxHound....
  7. The Flanker being intercepted..? where...?
  8. On the 2010 accident, it was due a tail strike on the take off, performed by a Saudi pilot making the initial transition to the type. After that, a loss of power was noticed ( speculation: nozzle damage? ), the spanish instructor was able to leave the aircraft, the Saudi pilot was not. The aircraft then hit the runway with violence, and the pilot was badly injured and died hours after.
  9. The pilot had a little more than 600 hours flying the typhoon. Until the investigation of the mishap is finished , nobody can guess what happen there, but with that experience maybe we can discard a lack of experience from the pilot. Also some witness reported that the aircraft fall to the ground short after take off on a dive attitude, even that is not clear.
  10. I would not call a aircraft that can make you feel 7.5 G and is the election for the advance training for a modern air force a tourist plane. Seems she can do it better than a cessna... And go ahead Aviodev, as better as you can with this bird, it is very interesting to have two similar aircrafts, with the Hawk, designed and devoloped by two different teams.
  11. Neil: I don´t want to teach anybody here, I usually come to this forums to learn, your opinions are as good as everybody´s opinion. But when you point your opinions as the truth, you are doing something wrong, because is your truth, not everyone´s... Bahger as been doing some contructive things over here, I flown his missions, and I can tell you his been lovin´ this sim from long ago, at least his been spending a lot of time to make the others enjoy the sim.... Bahger: I agree with you, in a simulation for me, the context is important, but again is your opinion, as valid as any other opinion, no need to defend it with mentions to the health of anyone´s head. And this is just my opinion , but maybe not my war....so I´m RTB
  12. Yes, WOW..... What about a little respect for everyone´s opinion....? It doesn´t hurt, really, try it...
  13. You are right..¡¡¡ That was the reason, my finger was anxious to fire.... Get the finger calm, and I was able to shoot down a L-39. Thanks
  14. Didn´t know that, will try. Thanks for the quick tip...
  15. Asking for a little help. Maybe is something wrong that I don´t do well, but i can´t manage to fire missiles on my F-15. I recently buy FC3 to enjoy the fantastic PFM of the 15, so my experience is minimun, and I´m enjoying it a lot ¡¡¡¡ The case is: I manage to take off, cruise, use search tactics, engage the bad guy with my radar, lock him, fly my aircraft to a optimal position for a lunch, with the launch cue in front of me, I press the weapon release command (That is been assigned in the options menu to a button of my G940) and nothing happens. The missile don´t come off the aircraft. All of this under a good lock and radar BVR mode working. This is both for the aim9 and the 120 and for every single time I tried( after reassing the weapons release command). The only thing I can do is fire the Vulcan..... Any idea of what I ´m missing? Have read the manual, and I thing I do everything by the book.... Thanks for any reply..
  16. Really good thing to know: what a product will have, and what will not. Maybe a little confusing at the first sight, but we are now, finally, able to push away speculations, rumors, and other noises to talk about flight models, tactics, aerodynamics, etc.. So thanks to put some light over the darkness. Good and quick move.
  17. Really beautiful images, what a feeling must be fly like that....all freedom.
  18. If I can remember well, two ,the smaller ones, are part of the radar homing and warning system, the L006-LM/101 SIRENA-3. And the other two, the larger ones, are part of the SO-69 type K-11E ECM active jammer. I get this info some time ago from this great dissection of the anatomy of the Mig29, credited to Mr.Tartar http://www.sci.fi/~fta/MiG-29.htm check it out, you will find tons of interesting thigs.
  19. He saids americans ones, so he can still shoot down mirages and tornados.¡¡¡¡
  20. Always learning here...¡¡¡¡¡
  21. Oh, didn´t know that, i thougt it was a B. Good info, thanks for sharing.
  22. If I remember well the Syrian Air Force only flies the Mig-23 and no the 27.
