  1. VAC works together with the Database of the Windows Speech Recognition. You have to use the Train Function a few Times to get a good Result. When you reinstall Windows you have to start from Zero again, because there is no build-in Backup Function. I have searched for an Option to aviod that, and i found this here : http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16296 A simple-to-use Program to backup and restore your Windows Speech Recognition Profile. It works with Vista and Seven, and saves a lot of Work. I thought this could be useful for other VAC Users too. :)
  2. Wenn ich lese wie heutzutage mal eben 4 Ghz aus den Sandys und Ivys rausgeholt werden...mit meinem Q9650 war das noch richtig Arbeit.. :D Glückwunsch zum Upgrade, und viel Freude damit. :)
  3. In DCS A-10 1.1.1.1 i´m doing the whole Radio Traffic via my HOTAS Throttle, VAC and this Mod : http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=82529 ,and it´s purely amazing. :)
  4. Great Video. Best Part for me is the Take-Off across the Field... :D
  5. Have found a Thread about it. Please ignore. :)
  6. Can somebody please tell me, what ALN UNS in the DSMS is standing for?
  7. Couldn´t say it better. I´m riding the Hog for nearly two Months now, and it´s awesome how much there is to learn and to master. Pure Joy! :)
  8. When my Tax Payback will aloud it, i will jump on the WH-Train too. I´m flying with a used X52 Pro atm, and there is nearly zero response in the Stick, and the Throttle got a "Gap" while moving back and forward. That makes small Movements extremly difficult.
  9. After some Hours of Training, i´ve made my first "Transfer Complete" ever. Far far away from Professional, and with a lot of reconnects, but i´m happy with that atm. :) FIRST TRANSFER COMPLETE!.trk
  10. Totally agree. PSU´s are often underrated, but it´s an important Part of the System. In the Case of Malfunction or dying, a cheap PSU can damage or destroy all the other Hardware inside the Comp too. ;)
  11. Thanks, and good Luck to you also. I have managed two and four Hooks over 5-10 Seconds in the last Trainings. That feels really good, and should be enough for today. :) Biggest Mistake : That i´ve forgotten to switch the Gate back to READY after Disconnect. In the Heat of Training i simply missed it (like breathing). And after 7-10 missed Connects i saw it. Arrghh! :D
  12. Hooked up for the first Time (for five Seconds or so) after doing Practice on AAR for a couple of Hours now. A small Victory, but it let me makes Party now. :D
  13. Possible small Bug found in BFT06 : - The Humvee at your Start Position drives and crashes into a parked F-15 in front of you.
  14. You can do that. I have done it on my X52 Pro this Way : "CMSC-Button JMR" --> on Pinky Switch + E Button on the Throttle to switch between Jammer Modes. "HOTAS CMS Z-Axis" --> On E Button to activate / deactivate the Jammer. Just look for the mentioned Functions in the Control Options. :)
  15. That is a really nice Idea. :)
  16. You can try to port your Setup from the DCS A10C Config to the DCS World Config via Winmerge. I have done it this Way, and it works very well. :)
  17. Have you set up the Pinky Button as a Modifier in the Control Options?
  18. I´ve got an X52 Pro too. One thing that really annoys me is the missing Resistance while moving the Stick around. Even my cheap Thrustmaster Flightstick X was better at this Point.
  19. No, you can install DCS World and A-10C beside each other without a Problem. On my Drive : E:\DCS A-10C and E:\DCS World.
  20. Some things that came into my Mind : Some Coolers came with a little Foil on the Copper, to protect it from Scratches. Have you removed the Foil, and cleaned the Surface from Sticker Rests? (If you got a Cooler with pre-applied Thermal Grease, you can scratch this one from the List) This might be looking like i call you dumb. But it isn´t. This is happened more then one Time to Users who have simply forgotten it. When applying Thermal Grease, you only need a tiny bit of it on the CPU Center in form of a Pea. Then you can spread it over the whole Heatspreader from there with a Plastic-Card or something similiar, until you get a small Film on the CPU. Thermal Grease should only fill up the fine Gaps between HS and Cooler. If you put on too much Grease, it will work like an Isolation between them. And last but not least : Apply your Cooler, loose it again, and check the Print of the Grease on the Copper Surface of the Cooler. If all looks okay, reapply it, and check your Temps. Hope that helps Greets Marc
  24. Thanks for this Profile. Helped me a lot to start with my new old X52 Pro. :) I´ve edited it only slightly : - Speedbrake open / close on Rotary 2 - Flaps up / down on Rotary 1 - Gear up / down on Clutch Button
