Hi Mate As Frusheen said above, we are both using Air Display from itunes to set the Ipad as a second monitor. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/air-display/id368158927?mt=8 £6.99 Sterling or $10 US. Once that is set up and running. What I have done is download the helios profile from this thread. Opened it up in the helios profile editor. You will see two monitors, 1 above 2. Then I opened up another instance of the profile editor, you will see your setup as 1 and 2 side by side. I then copied the screen from the loaded profile using crtl-a and the pasted it into my ipad monitor, to resize you have to hold down shift while dragging the blue outline. To get the blue outline to show up all around the controls I clicked top left of the loaded graphics. Lower the zoom level so you can see the whole ipad screen and using the shift grab, maximize the graphics into the screen area. Save profile as a new name, I have saved it as ipad. Open up the helios control panel and test run the profile. You will see it appearing on your ipad. Job done. I will make a video if it is needed tomorrow night.

OMG Got it working on the Ipad using Air Display from Itunes which runs the ipad as a second monitor. Now I am away to read up on the whole config thing to see if I can somehow butcher some gauges working! A couple of issues I have noticed when using the above. One, I have to start Trackir5 software before I turn on the air display, otherwise it crashes. Secondly, I lose the mouse crosshairs on the screen, and have to click my mouse 5 button for it to reappear.. None of the above are game changers.

Wow!! Thanks for the tuts guys... The ADF / ILS videos got into my head first time.. Also the force trim/pilot trim has cured all sensitivity problem I had with my X52.. Really does seem like flying a different heli now. Many thanks for your time guys..

Right crtl + enter. Do you mean the red box which shows the position of your flight controls?

Maybe read/write permissions have been removed somehow, right click one and check the properties of it. Maybe try readding permissions for yourself again. Strange thing to happen, but it is windows.

Hi guys. Wondering if I can gleem some advice from the more experienced sim pilots here. It seems that my x52 is extremely sensitive to any sort of movement, even breathing on it would send the controls spiralling out of control. So, at this very moment, I only have dead zones set up, both in my joystick control panel and through the Huey controls axis tune, which is set at ten. Curves and saturation are untouched, in essence what I am looking for is some advice on how to set up my joystick so that it isn't as sensitive. Also, could someone explain exactly in laymans terms what effect the curves have. Much obliged.

Hey guys. Looking for a set of pedals to use specifically with the Huey, wlthoughnthey will be used with fc3 and a10 occasionally. Does anyone have a recommendation for me, I'm in the uk if that helps. Thanks

Can confirm, that turning HDR off does indeed sort the issue out for me! I had set the ATI CCC to application settings, still grey out. Set HDR off and fixed the problem, is there a log I can post so you guys can see what's wrong?

Thanks for the report eagle.. I'll turn off HDR when I get home and verify that it fixes the problem. I will also test different drivers and see if I reproduce it with them also.. Just bought fc3 last night, aw man I was so disappointed. But it is still in beta and that's what we are here for...

Hey Guys Not seen this anywhere, so thought I would create a thread for it! Does anyone else have the problem of, when entering cloud the whole screen turns black? The outside camera view goes completely grey, I had to dive down below 5500 to get out of the clouds and then look around to eventually the normal colours slid back into place! Running a ATI 6950. CAT 12.11 drivers! Thanks

Hey Guys Just coming back into the flight sim scenario after about 10 years out! Right now I am just getting used to the flight modelling within FC2, usually flying around, landing, taking off and doing circuits in the F-15. It has taken me around 2 hours to get my X-65 profile made and working to my liking! Now I am hopefully going to go to the next level, I have a basic understanding of the radar and the seperate modes, but can anyone give me some general tips on how to go about advancing my skill within the sim!
