  1. Just noticed you had completed a few VIP skins upuaut! Beat me to it again :) Very nice they are, although O was looking to do the Rammstein 1978 version, basically it looks like Marine One.
  2. Agreed. But as you can see in the decription.lua file above, which is mine from my naval test pilot school skin, I have used the file names without any extension. I don't think he would have saved it as a bmp file, but you never know!
  3. Thanks Deadman, i'll use as many !!!!! as I care to!! Thanks :) Glider, if I want to back light it, I can install a few leds inside my case and have an external switch for that. Carry on without the hole spoken about earlier please. Thanks.
  4. We know the description.lua file s wiring correctly ;), what is the name of your main file, is it BAF1.bmp? If so don't have the bmp extension showing in the lua. I always saved as targa then converted to dds.
  5. Hi Mate I take it you mean the holes that I asked not be to cut! If they are for the backlights, then great, but I wont be using backlights at all. Not for my first build. Appreciate your knowledge though!
  6. Still crashing... Crash log attached. DCS-20130626-180050.rar
  7. Could you ask this one as well please?
  8. Excellent work mate. Although I would rather they never had the holes circled. Unless someone can tell me exactly what they are used for, I think I would be better off without them.. Look like fuses to me! Circled them in pic below! Cheers
  9. Excellent mate... I am joining a ts3 server at half six, to help another guy who has just bought it as well. Feel free to join in. I'll run a server off my pc. Hopefully will be good enough.
  10. Hate fraps! Last resort to use fraps, I'll keep messing around and see if I can do anything. Thanks anyway!
  11. Just DCS. No flashes while recording, tried differ codecs etc, still the same.
  12. Looking for a bit of advice.. Always used MSI afterburner for capturing video and for taking screenshots. Lately, I have been getting green flashing within the videos. You will see it here. Doesn't matter what driver I am using or what version of AB I am using..
  13. Buy it! Simple, don't question it. Just enjoy the sheer thrill of it!
  14. Wolle, can you send me a link, and I shall ask my mate to host again tonight on his dedicated. I'll drop you the name/ip of it so you can join in.. Thanks
  15. Hi Mate All sorted... Very nice skin. It was very easy to spot, I use notepad++ to do a lot of my editing and scripting within ARMA2/3. I also use it to edit any lua file. The way it is set up lets me see the open and closing brackets and the code within it.. Look below and see the difference between ours. Mine below, you will see the red bar to the left hand side shows all the code within the brackets! Yours below as it came. You will see the difference, it is because you had two } on the line where the red line at the side ends.. That is all... Also, add name = "311th Air Cavalry" Above country!..
  16. JUst upload to zippyshare mate. a lot quicker! Im off work today, so can have a look for you!
  17. Hi Wolle One of the guys from another forum tried it last night on their dedicated server, they had constant crashing, and he has said that it was down to running on dedicated rather than a client pc being s server. I have asked him to pass you the log from the server. Cheers
  18. SOLD :) Would it be possible to make the 3 in the picture above without measurements? If so, I'll buy the one you have made and those to begin with! No need for the, what I think are fuse sockets, just switch positions!
  19. Excellent! Are you using the pics in the huey cockpit inspsiration thread? Such as
  20. Nice mate! Still searching and waiting to see if I receive any emails back! Even the maintenance manual has no dimensions.
  21. Would one of the devs mind answering this question please! http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=108444 Many thanks.
  22. Wolle I hate you man! Just lost 2 hours there, went on for a quick fly with your new mission, before I knew it 2 hours had gone by! Loaded up with troops, reinforced a group within 5 minutes of mission starting, straight away a pilot got taken down, 20Km later, I have dropped him off at Dallas. Loaded more troops, call for pilot rescue again, on my way there I shout for smoke, convoy needed taken out on my way to the pilot. Swoop in, take out 5 vehicles and get shot to bits, lose my starter and standby gen. Take out some infantry hunting the pilot, land pick him up and decide to fly to London to drop off and rearm / repair. Again, shout out for smoke, directly ahead of me it appears near Chihu, pilot needing extracted, I swear to god, I felt like the guy from the Chickenhawk book, I fly in fast because I know there will be enemy infantry around, I manage to do what I would call an extremely fast extraction, I think I flew in around 80knots, managed to kill my speed dead to a hover within 2 mtrs of the pilot, hovered for a couple of seconds and landed. Pilot jumps in and I fly out with small arms fire all around me! That was only the first hour of flying! Think I must have landed around 15 times in a row without crashing once, couple of slip ups, like having to go around again because I was too heavy with the controls, but it certainly focuses your attention to the landing operation.. All in all, probably better than any of the campaign missions I have flown so far, keep it up mate! Oh, that was only single player, I can imagine MP will be absolutely amazing!
