Guys Worth my while carrying on? Possibly a bit too much going on ?
-
Thanks mate.. Thought it was another hidden part, many thanks!
-
Are you sure mate, the bit circled in the below pic? I was thinking that it was another part added to the model which isn't on the released psd files, such like the cover!
-
Get them mate, I was using the twist on an X52, got a pair of saitek Cessna pro, for £100 sterling, probably the most worthwhile money I have spent on "gaming" in a good while, obviously after Huey :)

Hey guys. I am trying to find a particular part in the skin. In the photo below, the grey part in the middle of the red, where the hell is it? :) Also, has anyone worked out how to remove the gun rails, and the side engine covers (which are still green in the photo below) if at all possible?

@skull I made the army and insignia quite bright because that is the way the detachment supposedly had it when they first entered service. @killa Sorry mate, forgot I had added a new picture and just waiting for authorisation for the edited upload again. Shouldnt be that long before it is available. -

HI Mate As normal, extract the whole folder from the original version to bazaar/liveries/uh1 Once you have done that, just extract the replacement body file into that folder, which is named 57th Medevac 1962 - 1963 -

Release of my skin that I was working on today. If you have any ideas to improve, then please don't hesitate to let me know. Pilots still to be done. Obviously I am hoping for a version of the Huey with no gunners or weapon rails to be released, is that happening? 57th Medical Detachment UH-1B, 1962-63 The 57th Medical Detachment was the first helicopter medical evacuation unit to arrive in Vietnam. They landed in Vietnam in April, 1962. The 57th began operations at Nha Trang with three aircraft. In January 1963, they were re-assigned to Soc Trang near Saigon to support U.S. and Vietnamese operations in III and IV Corps. As additional UH-1Bs arrived, two aircraft were detached to Pleiku to support operations in II Corps. The 57th's first UH-1Bs flew with "high visibility" stateside markings. Simple red cross symbols were painted on the cargo doors and nose. The word "AMBULANCE" in white or yellow appeared above the cargo door window of some ships. My Version Link to page within DCS. As usual extract to bazarr/liveries/uh1 New file also has updated pilot patches, with original 57th patch! http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/348121/ DCS file link is now working!

I wouldn't need axis on the first board, would it handle rotary switches?
-
I have still to fix the blades mate, will try and get that done tomorrow night and reupload!
-
Looking to buy a board or two to start my pit build.. Looking for some recommendations to what one to buy and where to buy from within the UK! Thanks
-
Upuat Would you mind sending me a few of your psd files, especially to see how you are skinning the two sets of blades! Thanks

Being a sorta noob here on the forums, and certainly to his youtube channel, it came across to me as him being rather arrogant and conceited! Actually his attitude on his latest video made me turn it off after half way through and unsubscribe! The thing is, he has his opinion, let him stick with it, most of us here if not all only want to see the HUEY go from strength to strength. I have a slight feeling that nothing would please him more, than to see the HUEY fail somehow! Hey, we all have our opinions, right?
-
Looking at upuat's last pic, I think he has got it spot on... The problem a he has already stated is uncalibrated displays and displays using different formats. Infact it can be even skinners using different profiles within photoshop or their skinning prog.

I have an ATI 7950... HDR is normal in game! Colour was added via photoshop CS6. Just did a quick replacement colour and painted the skin, nothing fancy. Colour is same in game and in windows. Skull I have sent you a PM with the coloured skin to see how it looks on your PC.. Please do not hand it out as it isn't mine to do that! Thanks
-
To me this the colour of Air GreenLand.. Red is hex fa0005
-
Colour hex code is 892b24 which is a kinda rusty red mate! Think you are looking more at e3292c to be honest!

Ixvanwyk Hey mate, I was hoping for this also. It's only been a week since the mod was posted, so maybe he has an update planned.. In the meantime, I added a green, orange, light blue then red band around the lower half on the VSI gauge.. If atorque wished me to remove link, the just say so mate, no credit applied to me at all. Everything is applied to atorque. Link http://www38.zippyshare.com/v/14000344/file.html

It's my fault mate. I now know what I haven't done after looking at a couple of other skins. Will get them fixed during this evening and post them over to you! Appreciate you picking up on the problem! Thanks
