  1. Hey Cyph3r, thanks for the headsup!
  2. dont forget the shipping is EMS express... So the price is actually OK.
  3. Good news everything worked out finally. I am looking forward to getting my hands on this awesome stick. You said there would be more info on the throttle and rudders during july if I am not mistaken Cyp3er. Can you already give us some news? Thinking about getting the throttle and probably the rudders to check them out. Cheers Winger
  4. wasnt that before they reqlized the problems with the first batch bases? AFAIK they recalled the already sent out bases from the shippingcompany and are going to ship out the new ones oncee they are assembeled and tested. I ordered a while ago. I keep my fingers crossed to have my trackingnumber within the coming week.
  5. Hi, one question regarding the cover. Its nice. But I didnt order the whole Stick as one. I did somewhat of a mess and ordered the grips separate from the base. Will I still receive the cover?
  6. Yeak looking awesome. But its Aircraft grade Aluminium, not steel thou. @Virpil: LOOKING NICE! But please. Dont hurry with assembly. Take your time and do it right rather than something goes wrong because of hurried assembly. Looking forward to my awesome ALL VPC Setup thou. And this 10% Voucher will most likely be spent either on throttle or Rudders. So give us info please:thumbup:
  7. I am also bearing with VPC. I really hope they can keep the promise and ship coming week. I am confident!
  8. its not meant as a desktop stick. It targets enthusiast pro flightsimmers. Best advice would be to buy the deskmount (wich is great bang for the buck btw.) and cenermount it. If you get some extensions you boost your immersion and controlprecision. Believe me. a centermounted, extended stick is the biggest precision increase i ever experienced. But in case you dont care: You can always saw a hole in your destop and mount it in there:P Actually a thing to consider por people that want to use this durable awesome piece of gimbal in a 2 stick setup.
  9. Thansk for the update Cyph3r! Looking forward to playing with my brandnew all VPC simpit-setup when i get home from vacation:) S!
  10. Awesomeness! Thanks for the headsup!
  11. Hello Cyp3r, I am glad that things got cleared up. I for one accept your apologies and am eager to get your products into my hands. Thanks for the update!!! Cheers Winger
  12. OK guys. I just called them myself in person. And i got the same information that Tane got. Cypher was in belarus for a company meeting regarding the delay of orders. Hes was offline. That was the reason why he didnt get to answer our concerns. He will be back and should be getting to answer our concerns within the next hours. So all fine. No need to worry. They guy on the phone apologized a lot and I bet after Cypher tells them what was going on in the forums this wont happen so fast again:) Cheers!
  13. YESSS!!!! Thanks Tane! Much apprechiated!
  14. Hey Tane! THANKS A LOT for your effort and for making this user to inform us. I am a little less worried now. WIll be not worried at all when i get some info from Virpil themselves or Chypher for that matter. Thou you should consider trying DCS and stopping by more often. Is a nicesim and forum thou. If you like WWII you also should try http://www.il2sturmovik.com. Cheers David
  15. is it thinkable that they just having vacation or something? I am also getting a little concerned. LH Grip, Base, exensions anddeskmount. All on order and payed for in full....
  16. Some update would be nice. Its time.
  17. Any news on new shippingdates?:)
  18. +1: Much apprechiated. And good decision towards quality.
  19. Even if it misses some fancy clutch feature the VPC base makes a MUCH much sturdier impression to me. The VKB seems to be tiny. Especially with a long extension I cannot help but fear that it will break if youre rough with it. Might be wrong thou. What I like the most about the VPC base is that it utilizes pressuresprings instead of tension springs. And all my previous experience with all kinds of joysticks tells me that tensionsprings ALWAYS break after a while of excessive use. Worst example was the Cougar Uber gimbal. Awesome and precise but beware if you had to change a spring. Such a PITA... Thats why i went with VPC all the way. Up until today I only received the Grip and am waiting for a deskmount, extensionset, lefthandgrip and basegimbal to arrive. The grip makes an awesome impression. High quality buttons and small activationtravel. Simple plug and play with Warthog Base. If I am asked id recommend VPC. But I have to admit all I say about VKB is just a subjective impression without ever having tested it.
  20. My Grip arrived a while ago. Very well made and awesome quality. Hope my Base and LH grip ship soon so i can actually start using it:/
  21. Suggestion to VPC regarding this post: Maybe consider offering a conversionkit with all buttons in black like in the BE grip?
  22. I will. Together with the LH T50 Grip for my left hand. I will use that for Star Citizen and other Space sims. I also got a Virpil Base on order and a T50 RH grip. This will be my main centermountet stick. I reuse the WH base since I dont consider it a very bad base and certainly more than adequate for the left hand.
  23. Update if theres anyone interested: better ergonomics, new switchbox.
  24. Update I updated the Switchbox so it looks close to the one in the real thing. Of course i modified and added some more functionality so i can properly add more functions also for other simulators. Right now planned functions: 3x 8 Way Coolie 3x Push Button 1x I-O-II Switch 1x linear Potentiometer 1x Hall sensor for Collective lever
  25. I plan on using a HALL as well. Ill use one that detects rotation and take the movement at the axle. Btw. I looked at the Collective another time and i think its no problem to re-model the thing myself. After all it pretty much just a box:) So no need to make any more effort thou. Thanks anyways!
