Does anyone have a decent set of settings for Piston engine planes?

Could anyone please tell me some hard Data on Power Settings for the Dora for: Max. Continuous Combat (X Min.) Emergency (X Min.) Here in the forum and in manual i found the info that 1.42 ATA and 3000RPM is Max Continuous. But when I fly like that my engine overheats and breaks after aproximately 45 mins. or so. EDIT: In addition the following quiestion regarding MW50 usage. Can I leave the MW50 Pump circuit breaker on the right ON at all times and only activate MW50 with the switch on the left side close to throttle or do i have to only turn on the curcuit breaker when I want to use MW50? Thanks!

Hey Guys. Did anyone make the effort to create some better kneeboard map for the Normandy/Normandy 2 Maps? The ones that are included by default are pretty useless when it comes to city names. I am a graphics designer and have the skills to put things together in photoshop if someone could provide me with the picture data. I was thinking about some map that has only major features shown like Railroads Streets, rivers and cities. Something that resembles the F10 map without actually using that since i read that using it can cause framedrops when flying VR. Also I find it kind of awkward to use the F10 map because i have no view on where my aircraft is flying while doing so. I like DCS much better than IL2 but the thing that IL2 does really better is the ingame maps.

I am using the steelseries arctis nova pro. Costly but VERY comfortable and awesome sound. Regarding Aero: Did Varjo ever say when they plan to implement local dimming? Having better blacks is the only thing I am missing right now. Otherwise i love it.

@OP: You wrote about this Color issue: 3. Chromostereopsis I actually have this issue and can see all 4 layers. While its not a gamebreaker its still annoying. Is there anything that i can do about that? Some setting to change somewhere? Thanks

Hey Guys, my Name is David, I am 49 years of age and live in germany. I am very passionate about Flightsims since I started flying WWI back in the day when Rise of Flight came out first. I was very competitively flying VERY intensively and almost every day back then. Inbetween life caught up with me, I ran through a divorce, had some issues with my health and what else life brings with it:) Now I settled with a new Woman. I never lost my interest in Flight- and space sims and continuously kept building out my simrig. I tried everything including a motion rig. A disc herniation, the lack of space in my flat and the need to also being able to work on the same desk forced me to sell the motion rig. Anyways. I built myself a pretty nice Sim-desk and am also using a VR headset (currently Pico 4, planning on getting a Varjo Aero or Pimax crystal soon). Right now I am learning to fly my missions with all the Fighterplanes, the Mosquito and also hopefully soon some bombers. Right now I am mainly flying singleplayer in campaigns in order to become more secure on the operation of these birds. I am looking for some likeminded guys that are welcoming to „new“ players. Even thou i got my fair share of experience flying fixed wing piston aircraft i am new to the DCS platform. This and the fact that I had a big break in flying due to real life is why I would consider myself „new“. I speak english quite well (even thou I lack some words here and there) and of course german. I would not want to lock myself to only german speaking suqads and also not to one that only flies one side or the other. I just love all those warbirds, no matter wich side developed them. Regarding activity I would specify my playing behavior more in the „casual“ region. I get to fly like 3 of 4 Times a week, mainly in the evenings. Well, sometimes its more, sometimes less. The game runs fine under SteamVR but for some reason i cannot get it to work with Open Composite. I am running Win 11 64 on a more than decent PC that souled be able to handle everything. I install Open Composite and the toolkit but whenever i try to start any game with active open composite i always get erromessages. Anyone else had issues getting OpenCR to run and is maybe able to help? Best Regards Winger

This guy is a scammer. PMed me and made me contact someone that just took my money and never got back to me. I did some recherche and on other forums people have also been scammed in this style.
