I don't wanna start a new thread for this: Why, oh WHY can't I center the trim of my pitch with the little rotary? No matter how much deadzone I make, it still doesn't come to the center position. I'm getting used to trimming with my pinkie+HAT1 but this little rotary keeps bugging me. Anyone else with the same thing?

Just 2 things: Aurora is supposed to replace (already retired SR-71 AKA Blackbird :joystick:) and it is supposed to be a RECON aircraft, not a dogfighter or a BVR hunter. :smartass: And that photo kinda looks like a Flanker to me. Look at the nose color and the rest of the color scheme. I don't think that USAF would color their stealth top-secret toys in cyan :D (Do B-2, F-117A, U-2 and Blackbird ring some bells?) :pilotfly:

Um, orange??? Would you be so kind to post your RGB of the color? I once used this: R-255 G-171 B-1 But it didn't seem nice to me... And try this one I call Ice Blue: R-1 G-172 B-255 Great in dark, awful in daytime :)

I've already got it. Now I'm thinking about using his yellow mod :)

This is bugging me so long that I have to ask someone: Why does almost every movie featuring Russian a/c have a YELLOW HUD? Do real life russian a/c have yellow HUDs by default or what? I know that the color can be changed but it was in my understanding that green is standard. OR?

Just an idea crossed my mind - how about changing the number at the end of the texture? Because you have Su-39-paint[bLABLABLA]-01.bmp. How about changing it to 8 or higher number on every texture and trying to create a CDDS catalog? rying won't hurt... :music_whistling:

I think that what he meant was how to edit the terrain textures, not the shape of the terrain.

I know that but it is still too bright. :) Only my MFD is lighted since I have lots of profiles for all planes

Hm, it is annoying for me to see lights in the dark, that's why I only need to see my profile on the MFD, that's all :)

Ok, I've got another question and I don't want to open a new thread for it... How can I set an axis to behave like only one engine throttle? I have rotaries assigned to trim pitch and yaw but I also want them to act as left/right engine thrust in another mode (you know, shift+axis or alt+axis). I am using SST so I was hoping that you know to set it up. :)

I got it working, BUT only on non AFM planes, and I was just starting to like the Hunchback :)

First, sorry if it has been discussed but I'm in a hurry so forgive me :) Is there any way to assign the rotaries on X52 to trim pitch and rudder? Because I set those axis to do it in the game options but with no results.

Try Youtube, I found quite a lot palne crashes there, the one I like the most is the Raptor scratching it's belly right after takeoff :pilotfly::smartass:

Any info about how he managed to do that??? Amazing what amount of damage a plane can take before completely loosing control :)

I know how to get rid of the wings on Su-25(T) but how to do it on other aircraft? I once (and only once) managed to get rid of the wings on a MiG-29 during a carrier landing when I somehow struck the deck without being turned into a burning wreck. :pilotfly: I don't know why but I like making crash landings and returning to base with a part of the plane missing but I can only do it with Su-25(T) and I want to do it with any plane. :helpsmilie:

Ok, I am asking. :) :helpsmilie: How do I do it? Because I always tend to install a file in CDDS. And I know about the layers stuff since I have experience in making skins from templates but I didn't know it affects saving files in Photoshop, that's why I like Paint Shop Pro.
