Great you guys, you are just killing the thread and making the Mods close/delete it. :cry:

First, I get irritated when people put my nick the wrong way, it is Black_Hawk Second, why do you guys always have to mock everyone about the things they want to know? If it were up to me, I'd ban anyone who would violate forum rules and policies without the WARN. And the moment people get through your next alias you'd get banned again. But it is not up to me and I cannot do anything about it. So, to end the discussion, none of you actually know what the cord is used for in general... You could have stated that at the begining of thread instead of spamming. Sometimes the forums were places where you could actually find something out. Now it's just about making fun of ignorant ones.

All you guys did was confusing me even more about the thing :D So, is there anyone who actually KNOWS what it is for? :joystick:

Maybe it is one of those things you've always wanted to know but were afraid to ask. Or maybe it's just me :music_whistling: But what's the cord-like-thingie you can see on the canopies of some aircraft? It is a window heater like they have in cars or is it some kind of an explosive cord used while ejecting? Those two are the only things coming to my thought now. You can see that on the JSF (F-35) in a star-like pattern and in some french planes spreading through the whole length of the canopy. :joystick:

Did you install any additional textures into CDDS? If yes, try with the stock textures and see what happens. If it persists then it is your GPU that is causing you trouble.

Nope, I do the same thing. After some flying with the X52 this comes like a reflex action. :smartass:

I agree with Ice, today while practicing formations I released some flares, a moment later - BOOM, I colided with someone. If your FPS suddenly drop (the game slows down) the others will see you jumping around the screen (and collide with you in my case) :joystick:

Hey guys, check out Dennys site, he made a MiG-21 model, but he doesn't know how to do other stuff to be able to import it in LO. You can download the model from his site in .3ds format. Scroll down a little bit. I don't have any modelling programs but I'm sure it can be modified. ...and... GO FISHBED!!! :thumbup: It sure is a legend. And Croatian Air Force still uses Fishbeds... actually, we only have fishbeds. ;)

I'll give you some synonims, maybe it will help :smilewink: amplitude, band, coverage, extent, incidence, perimeter, range, reach, scale, span, spread, volume... So, every part of the axis corresponds to some input you can define. You split it to several parts

I'm not really sure about how much you people need this, but, here I go... :D I also posted that on LOCKONFILES 1. Open your SST Profile by right-clicking on the SST icon in your taskbar: 2. Scroll to the desired axis you would like to set as bands: 3. You get something like this: 4. Click with your mouse somewhere in this area (that way you set the span of the band; it can be edited afterwards): 5. Bands could look like this: 6. It is important that you click the green checkmark, otherwise your bands won't be saved: 7. Then you can program each band with a keystroke, macro or an advanced command: 8. Then you save your profile as usual: 9. And apply your profile to the HOTAS/Pedals: 10. Enjoy your flight! :)

Well I'm not sure. You need some sort of a converter plugin for 3D Max. I don't have Max and Denny aparently doesn't have the necessary plugin. Hopefully someone from this site will be able to find a way how to do it. And actually I'm not sure about the meinit messup, it would be enough to replace the (for example) Su-17.lom (or what's the file for that plane) with a MiG-21 model. And you would have a Fishbed with FM of the Su-17. :smartass: That's how Denny replaced the Carl Vinson carrier model with a Kiev carrier model. He left the filename the same (VINSON.lom) but the shape was different. The thing is that now the Kiev has all the weapons of the CVN and it's model which is hardcoded. I hope that I explained it well because now when I read my reply I seem confused... :joystick:

Visit Dennys website and you'll see the MiG-21 model. It just needs conversion to .lom and a skin. Messing with meinit should make it an AI aircraft. :music_whistling:

You can actually land on a carrier without a hook? Or just the AI? And thanks for the code, I'll try that now.

A while ago I was reading about editing meinit in order to set planes to be able to take off from aircraft carriers. By that I mean the aircraft that aren't supposed to take off from them. Could anyome provide me with the procedure? I couldn't find the thread by Search.

Hi HRZ (surely NOT Kenan) :D I don't have a homepage. The 3D model is made by piranha-dl and his homepage is here. He just asked if I could skin his model, he's the one who did the hard work. And I don't think that I took an agressive attitude. And if Corsair thought it was a typo he could also take some time to try to explain me the difference... And I tried to explain him that it was a missunderstanding from his side but he persisted in a verbal fight. Well, not so much a fight, but you sure know what I mean :smartass: Anyway, thanks for the pictures.

You could have asked if I have meant the Kuznetsov, without posting irrelevant pics... Anyway, you're the one that's missunderstanding the thread topic. And IIRC, you stated that Kiev/Kiew/Kyiv/Whatever is a Chinese carrier.
