This would be a nice future option, including an an additional segment for training missions. I think one part is that there is no NAS or MCAS modeled in any of the maps, but an overlay or placing at least placing IFLOLS might be something. Some fields may not have a carrier box but have IFLOLS on certain approach ends. Ancient history, but when I was stationed at El Toro - endless hours of the night of FCLPS for F-4 squadrons. (F-18 was just arriving to squadrons).

Sorry - I overlooked the multiplayer. In the mission editor there is an option to disable tooltips. So if you are playing on someone elses server or host - they may have to possible force disable tooltips for the mission. I don't know if this works correctly for clients. Setting this option does write to the mission file. Try turning off the tooltips in options -> gameplay

Since the Mav 65D was removed I assume their is some interest in factual representation but this not really a big deal or minor thing. You should not be able to assign this practice bomb to parent stations. Even in the real world deployment on a TER, the TER stations requires adapters. This bomb can only be loaded on a TER and not single parent station loading.

Not sure where to put this. Also a few threads I saw indicated that ATC is undergoing some work, but I will post regardless. At night and changing wind direction for different runway approaches, runway that is illuminated does not match the runway for ATC callout at Creech. Wind at 10 m/s at all elevations for tests. ATC calls 31 but 08/26 gets illuminated. 26 looks like the approach end.. ATC calls 08 but 31/13 gets illuminated. 31 is approach end. I did not try this at airfields but this is easily duplicated at Creech. Not sure if this has been reported as I could not find any reference specifically.

Recent visits to various sites such as virtual flight squadrons or other related sites using SMF forum software, I have noticed that a few of these are missing security updates. I am not going to point these sites out , but just a friendly reminder as I know people are interested in keeping their sites issue free and may not been in the loop for updates. Probably if you don't know how to modify the templates in phpbb, look for an ad mod or even better a portal mod which you can put the backlink code in a block. Portals make this sort of thing easier if you don't want to hack on your board. Board 3 or Kiss Portal Engine are ones that come to mind for portals. But a simple ad mod would suffice to create a block and you put the back link code in.

I have a good amount of spare hosting space going to waste, and to promote DCS and Virtual Squadrons, as well as this might be a fun thing to do for the community, I have created: Virtual-Area-51.com Virtual Area 51 is an top-list directory for virtual flight squadrons for advertisement, recruiting or just to add another layer to expand visibility/promotion of their community while engaged with simulation software, such as Digital Combat Simulator. Welcome are other sites of interest to the DCS community and have category coverage for those areas. There are categories for those other sims, so friendly competition might evolve. Regardless, anything unfriendly in nature will not be permitted. There are no costs and the intent is for this site to remain free. Many features that other top-list or ranking sites charge extra for, are for items aligned with increased visibility or features like bigger banners and social links etc. Obviously the site has a ranking system and back link buttons will be offered as well as an text anchor. Back links are not required but appreciated. There is a gateway function to limit abuse of the ranking system. There is forum for support if needed. Below are some sample views. Thanks Whip.. I found the fixed or updated templates. Good job on the bare metal. I figured that the template on the main site would of been updated since people get directed there.

So can the proper P-51 template be updated on the main site or the template replaced with the proper one?
