2:30 could also be done in post production. The zoom level suggests that the creator cropped the video, then used keyframes to pan around the shot. Sounds more complicated than it really is.

i5 2500k @ 4.4GHz 16GB RAM 1600Mhz (1080p video editing when not flying :)) 2x AMD HSD6870 1GB Xfire Getting less than 30fps in all situations, as low as 7-10fps at airfields as soon as buildings or other vehicles come into view. Graphic settings have no effect on performance. Are the HD6870s bottlenecking here? Xfire is disabled for dcs.exe, also makes no difference.

Is there a special way of uninstalling DCS World to clear all instances of it on my computer? I'm having a few issues, more specifically detailed here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1656063#post1656063 However I would like to know in a more general sense how to completely reinstall.

EDIT: Fixed it. Turns out the 'Saved Games/DCS' folder needed to be rebuilt, and apparently that failed to complete after the last update, and the folder wasn't removed upon uninstalling DCS World + all modules. Deleting the aforementioned folder and relaunching DCS World recreated the DCS folder, and fixed the issue! ---------- When I try to view the Mission Planner this is all I get, I can only Alt+Tab to minimise and Alt+F4 brings up 'are you sure you want to quit'? I tried uninstalling all modules + DCS World, yet this still happens on a fresh download and install of DCS World. Also, when I click 'Create Fast Mission' nothing happens.

I learned by writing it down a few times when I needed to do it. So when I was engaging a target with GBU-12s, I wrote down all the steps with joystick/keyboard commands and buttons and then ran off my custom checklist until it was memorised.

Can't quite get Civil simming out of my head :(

Was flying some sunset mission, with JTAC giving me targets. The problem was after WP was fired I had major trouble locating it with poor lighting. Had to Alt+F1 and zoom all the way in to even see it. I was orbiting at 20000ft though, is that too high for spotting visually?

I uninstalled DCS World 1.1.X.X before installing 1.2.0.0 All my controls were carried over without my intervention and I've had no issues.

Thanks for the info and the training mission. I started a free flight, entered CK711 839 as a custom waypoint, and it appeared on my TAD as expected...only it was nowhere near the mission AO. In fact, it was on the complete opposite side of the map. Maybe I wrote down the coordinates wrong or something.

I was given Remarks by JTAC which listed the following grid reference - CK711 839, but CK did not exist on my map. Z and C overlapped. How do I find CK711839? edit: http://en.wiki.eagle.ru/w/images/3/39/JTAC_9_LINE_UTM_CRDN_ENTRY_PROCEDURE.pdf I'm guessing this will help me...is there no way of seeing it on the F10 map?

Oh yeah, as a beginner long vs short got me every single time even on the tutorials where it's in text form.

Isn't that frustrating :D Had that issue too, stupid brain! Kept forgetting to turn on auto-lase and was wondering why my PGMs kept missing. edit: I know you can manual fire the LASER but haven't got round to that yet :)
