What's the bind to enter green mode? I've done it accidentally but never figured out what it was

I downloaded the F-14 and Syria map as part of the free trial but when I launch I get the error that it's not activated and I can't select it in sim. What the heck is goin on?

Unplugging the headset causes a hang if VR mode was still enabled when you last exited the sim. It should still launch regardless of whether hardware is connected.

I'd guess it's a large identification marker for the location, it's easier than saying "look for the big rectangle building next to the square building" If you're looking for a fat ass carrier it's easier to relocate the AO at any distance.

Playing in VR then later launching with VR hardware disconnected causes a permanent hang on the black splash screen, the game never progresses to the menu. Present in Open Beta and stable branch. I thought it was a new thing for the A-10 II because it's in the store description, but it is just the already existing JTAC I was expecting something like RIO to work with. JTAC doesn't even recognise the new weapons.

Edit: thx but it doesn't work, I have the non-Steam version and SVR won't pick up DCS It's easier to just look one way, center view then turn my head normally to reach the rear or lower panels, already have "center VR" set on my throttle.

I have trouble moving my head to view the full cockpit, can I increase the turn rate of the head tracker similar to how TrackIR has curves? I have a hotas and just spin my chair but looking all the way down is really difficult for some reason.

Yeah that works better than moving the view position, the slew rate on view move is finicky. I just need to zoom in a little to get a good readable position for the amount I can move. RAlt + Num0 will save the zoom position, same as saving snap views. Thanks for the assistance! Forgot to mention I just switched from TrackIR to a VR headset, that's why it was harder to get into position than just setting a good TIR curve.

Ah I vaguely remembered modding something way back to change the seat for TrackIR. Can you save the position? It's a bit annoying having to move it every reload when I'm still learning to be proficient in the VR setting. Is the new one more realistic? I struggle to get my head in the right position when seated, but I am a midget in a chair.

When I set the IFFCC switch to Test, the menu is way above the visible HUD area. Only way I can see it is if I do a yoga pose and drop my head way down. edit: looks like my default view was altered, how do I reset to default?

Wouldn't be surprised. I got mine last week (just a Rift CV1) and I can't put it down. The F15 is incredible, I like it more than the A-10 for 3D-ness.

I'm messing around with touch for now even though I DO have a HOTAS. The F15 works fine, but in the A10 as soon as I grab the stick it just locks and I can only move left/right. The throttle works fine. Is it just not possible to use touch for simple flying?

I am retarded, where specifically do the LUA files go? On my Android Tablet, the screen just mimics what I see and moves around when I move my TrackIR view :(

Probably a dumb question but I'm lazy When reading the FC3 manual for the F-15, it states that on the RPM guage the red area indicates afterburners are engaged. I don't have a red zone? I know it goes to 110 but when zoomed out it can be difficult to get the throttle to max without burners without looking in the external view.

I drink Gamma Labs PTF formula before reading it, and have an A4 pad and pen ready to take notes. It works.
