I'm just confused on this whole activation thing... how do you get more? I reformated the other day, so there's another activation.. then I had to reinstall FC after screwing with it (ahaha) ... so are you saying.. If I had to reinstall it a few times and run out of activations.. I can't play a game I payed for on my computer? .. I may die on my motorcycle too.. so maybe I should stop thinking about it.

I set it to 0 smoothness and tried it out... I like it reacting my my inputs directly, rather than indirectly.. so I'm keeping it at 0

I wouldn't say pedals are required to fly a heli-sim ... if you have a twist rudder.. what is so hard about twisting it... that's what our amazing wrists are for... and BF choppers are too easy to fly.. you can fall out of the air and smash into a hill.. just pull on the collective and off you go... Here's a tip with simcopters... Before playing, try to understand why things happen with input of the controls.. what are they doing? You use the 'rudder' ... the rear blades either spin faster or slower slow uses the main blades torque to rotate one direction. Speeding up the rear overcomes the torque and rotates that direction.. (btw.. this doesn't apply to the KA-50.. well not the rear anyhow) .... you can change the AOA of each blade of the mains... ... creating lift more so on one side causing that side to move up, and the other side goes down..say you push foward on the stick.. now instead of it pulling at the air straight up, it is now tilted foward pulling you that way.. now the more tilited forward you are the faster you will go in that direction.. but the less ability the blades have to pull UP.. the only reason you are not on the groun... So there must be balance. ok I'm done... And the colective controls the blades angle of attack for 'bite' .. like the adjusting the pitch of the prop in one of them little airplanes... throttle, in most cases is at a fixed point.. the stick controls the blades AoA seperate from the collective, it can change the AoA of each indipendent of the others.. so there can be more lift on one side or the other. Think of the throttle as always on.. as if your motorcycle's throttle got stuck at a certain point.. your bikes clutch works like the collective.. Ok I'm done.. :p

You can already manualy change the GUI resolution from the config file can't you.. or is it different now with FC.

That's wierd... it comes set at 50 for default doesn't it? ... I remember Precog saying to put it at 100... I suppose that is better for A/G .. along with the super curved axis lines... I'll try making them more linier and killing smoothness all together..

Another vote for new AFM for the other jets(All of them :p )... I understand this would probably take the longest time... but it's just a wish list :D

I went throught the same thing.. sorta... I could download it but it would hang and never finish.. took a whole day before I could actualy d/l it.. check your security settings and see that it's not blocking their site.

Do you mean you can't get to the download or that when you try to download it, nothing happens? I noticed you sometimes have to log in again.. make sure you are logged in, and go to Download/files

I don't know if I'd like to have a gap in the middle..it would make your ground target cut in half... it would annoy me :p.. rather use the other monitor for aircraft instrmuments and MFD's

Well it started working a half hour later.. I have used the medaupload before and know about the wait time.. but I was gettin the 404 ... I liked the movie.. it's now part of my movie collection. Good music too.. I may just watch it again.. but now that I have my own copy of 1.11... I may just make my own :p ... I hope they rework all the jets flight models..

Howdy.. I too just got FC early today when the server let me finish the download :p... I do like the changes... but the SU-27/33 turns waaaay to fast during taxi.. the wings don't even move.. was this done to make the russian planes seem better? As they hate the F15 and A10.. oh did I say that.. I'm just kidding :p... but I like the new 25T

Yay... Ok it finaly worked.. I have everything but the movies.. do I need these for it to function correctly? Or are they just for fun?.. I can't wait to try the new flight model... Have any keyboard commands changed? Wondering if I have to change my Saitek profile. Oh.. and one more thing.. I have Loman 2.1 ... got it last night.. not sure why I never used it.. But I noticed Loman 4 beta 3 is out there.. it says it's for FC.. but will 2.1 work with FC, or do I have to "upgrade"

Pics look good.. link isn't working for me at this point but I'll try again later... soon as I can actually get the mirrors to not hang up I can DL damn FC... After seeing some videos of how they changed landing and such (Not snapping down the other wheel and such) it looks really fun!.. Suppose with this update I'll actually fly the SU25... the T version that is :p

How did you fix it?! I purchased it last night and have been trying sinse then... Using IE... using managers.. I can't get it past 90mb with the manager.. and it wont go by 600k without it...

I bought 1.1 last night ... but the servers kept hanging... I tried for hours... now I'm trying again and it's the same thing.. I get to 90mb and it dies.. or I get to 600k and it dies.. this is kind of depressing.

Hello everyone... I'll be known as 'Harven' as it's what I've used for a long time now... I used to call myself 'ATLAS DEATH' ..something I made up a loooong time ago during the F/A-18 Hornet days on my long gone Mac.. It was based on 'Battle Tech' ... anyhow. I got Lock-On when it first came out.. did the clan thing (TAW)... it was soon shadowed by IL2.. as well as my clan mates moving over to IL2... anyhow.. I was watching the movie "Stealth" .. most would say a dumb movie.. but I enjoyed the 'flying' aspect.. even if some parts were quite impossible... It reminded me of Lock-On.. as it is my only Modern combat simulater (except for Falcon 4.0 ... but that really isn't played) ... so I go and install it.. patch it up.. I had saved my config folder from years past so I was right back into it.. I glanced at the 'official' forums and noticed many a thing had changed... it's probably been 2 years sinse playing it... Anyhow.. those are the basics.. I was invited to lockon.ru by someone on the official forums.. I noticed some things hadn't changed.. such as whiners complaining if they have to type something.. or seeing a thread from a long time ago... what's the point of a forum...as I was saying.. I was invited here.. and so here I am... I hope to get back into this Sim.. as it provided me with alot of fun times...such as.. flying in formation.. having someone yell at everyone to keep it tight.. everynow and then hearing the lock-on warning from a clan mate.. seeing a few bullets fly by.. people crashing into each other and then all hell breaking loose.. aha.. I hope to become am active, loved, and cherished member of this society!:horseback
