So my Rio and I fly all the time but for some reason he cannot eject. He ejects me but he stays in the plane. he has his seat armed and all. tonight I switched seats with him as he was showing me some start up stuff (glad I don't have to be back there ,holy crap is that some complicated stuff) anyway sure enough I armed my rio seat and ctrl e x3 and the canopy blows off and I just sit there.

He's got an X-56 hotas and wants to go through the radar testing, he's not sure what the keybindings are to move the actual stick around and move the pipper on the radar. All the info he's finding is for the front seat. Since I want no business back there lol, could someone help please.. thanks. also what would be awesome is a profile for it, but again I only see for the front seat. thanks

huh? I don't think all of FC3's planes are that big. The hornet is only like 500megs. no other planes in DCS are even close to 1gb, no way this one module will be 1gb, let alone 4gb lol.. maybe for testers there are things still not compressed?

my main drive for OS is on an SSD, however my E drive which is where my DCS is installed is at almost max, well I have 18gb free and 100gb free on my main OS drive.

well I deleted the metashader2 folder after reading this tip from another thread, not the fxo folder. I also did a repair/cleanup via command prompt. im all ear though, so annoying

software? not sure I'm pretty sure the mobo has that setting and I think its off? what are you recommending here? thanks

its an SSD. Preload? I think 60k or something, what should I set it at?

thanks I noticed this micro freezing much worse since the last update, it was still happening just now its almost unplayable. Landing at the carrrier nice approach, got the ball and boom micro stutter and dead. sometimes it will even freeze for a good 5 seconds

whatever its called, its so bad I'm losing it lol It much worse when in a populated server but still happens even single player a nice 50-60-70fps smooth then boom 12fps, stutter/freeze and back to normal fps. Happens on the 107th like crazy because so many players. I feel like I've tried everything, all sorts of settings in game, disconnected Afterburner, turned of f track IR, even my Joystick software. I tried to make sure DCS was using all 4 cores (that one fix where you go into the task manger) and nothing. What in the world is doing this? It was there this morning/afternoon EST time, so its a timezone thing and I COMPLETELY agree, it should go until the time zone you are in. It's very sad, some of us save and save and then when we're ready to buy on the sale date its gone because its 5am over in Russia apparently and only 1030pm here in the United States EST.

yea no filters, I think we'll check our versions, i just recently re-installed the game (like 2 days ago) so I'll try re-downloading again and re installing

I don't get this. My buddy has like 200 plus servers in his list, I see like 33. He doesn't even see the same servers I do. He tried to connect to me after making a new server and same with him with the error of "server offline" I opened my ports, dmz'd my modem (only connecting to my modem no router, with comcast gigabit connection) Turned off windows defender,turned off firewall. WHAT IN THE WORD IS GOING ON HERE!! I am so frustrated. also tried turning off ipv6

I get your analogy, as long as what you're saying is correct, when I get this campaign, there is no choosing what plane to fly, the story flows and each mission might require me to have the mig15, which I don't. That makes sense. Obviously if that is not the case and you can indeed choose the plane, well then, again it makes zero sense and I just feel bad for you.

Yes, its the f86 I own. have zero desire to even try the mig :) but if you're saying the game uses both planes for a long story style campaign well then I'm sorry, I was wrong. It just seemed as that the stories were separate, my bad

I just feel bad for the guy who made the campaign, spent the hours and hours, thought it would be cool to add both the f86 and mig together, he himself didn't think you had to have both in order to buy it. I've read what he replied and he wasn't even sure, but typical big business, there is no reason to make this campaign available only if you have both, you don't play them together at the same time, they are in a sense completely separate

yep, DCS is forcing people to buy both planes, while you suffer, I like many only own one, you designed a campaign that could be flow with either the mig/86 NOT BOTH, lol. Yet DCS wants the few people that are willing to pay, pay for a plane they have no intent on using, only to get this campaign working. Sorry man, but it'll teach other devs to make all campaigns separate hint hint :)
