turning interlock off literally turns the seaker off the missile, so it will not track.. We are not talking 15-20 miles, lol im not a noob, I'm very aware of an aim 7 missile and to be honest even though it claims 10 miles, its more like 2-3. they are not really BVR missiles I do hit the context button twice to put it back to regular scan, but how does that help if hes NOT locking the plane right in front of me. honestly, anyone saying they aren't having issues, I don't believe them. again, bunch of buddies and I are all experiencing the same exact thing here download this F-4E Phantom II Training and Proficiency Missions | (updated) v0.4 Missions:25 (digitalcombatsimulator.com) do the radar missile mission and record from the start of selecting that mission, not when you're already in. and post it. literally cannot get a damn missile to shoot and if you do it goes no where. its BUGGED!

I've seen enough videos now and it seems even these creators don't understand it. I have set up multiple scenarios with drone planes and all, I simply cannot get this plane to act right. I hit the contex button that Casmo just made a video on, and nope NO LOCK. If I do get a lock by hitting cage button or NWS acquisition button multiple times, I never get a shoot que. There has to be something wrong here. I have a bunch of friends with me and we are all just lost with this thing, part of me thinks the devs did this on purpose to recreate real issues, I hope not because thats silly.. as it seems right now heaters are the only thing that work

Don't count on that. As someone who's been here since the beginning I see fewer people today then I did before. I also have many buddies who literally do not touch this sim at all anymore. The servers are a stalemate, we want people to keep buying but ED does need to update this game asap! Needs core updates, infantry, vehicles ,dynamic, tons of stuff. I used to argue like many here how great dcs is, but I just don't anymore because people have a right to be upset when they pay for things. Truth is stop with the preorder stuff, no one would really have a right to complain. They still might get mad but like many said it's a game, yet when you give a company money weeks... Sorry months in advance, people SHOULD get upset!!

also where is labels some people need them on for vision issues.. Can we please allow labels if we want?? I dont understand why any campaign maker would force this stuff on or off, if you dont want full map or labels you turn them off. its easy.

haha you cannot fly multiplayer in campaigns. I've been complaining about this for years.

Is it 30% better? lol I always said if my Quest 2 was 30% better overall in clarity, colors and such, I would be all about it.

WEll I fixed it.. had to open the back and there are two screws holding each arm in, one of them fell out and the other 3 were all lose as a goose. Tightened it up and well, Virpil setup is gonna have to hold still

My throttle NOT the actual movement forward and backwards but the actual arms are loose, so much so it cant even lock together anymore, both left and right are like a wet noodle almost Im ready to take it apart but anyone have this before? what exactly do you tighten or fix on it

The first person to make a campaign that allows a coop REAL player, IMO it will outsell every other campaign out there. I've been saing this for years. As for a "FWF" mission.. no thanks. Make the entire thing coop friendly and I will gladly pay 20+ bucks and guess what, so will my buddies lol. you will get two purchases for the same campaign

why lower my settings? Im trying to get BETTER visuals lol. Im getting great fps as it is, I just want to increase my pixel density. Im going to try doing that through the oculus tooltray as it doesnt seem to do anything in DCS. I can set it to 2.5 and see no difference

thought i needed that for openxr to work. ok ill uninstall that and try to use the oculus tray tool to adjust so I can still use the openxr toolkit for upscaling and stuff right?

Friend and I have identical systems. 7800x3d, same memory and mobo, 7900xtx gpu both using quest 2 (will get the crystal maybe soon) but for now im trying out different setting VIA dcs and openxr. No matter what my quality doesn't change and neither does my FPS. lol Change my render scare via openxr to 100-175% and no changes change my render scale via DCS and no changes. the XR toolkit I use FSR or CAS as my upscaling. null Here is my settings. nullnull

exactly, I held off, Im actually holding off on most purchases going forward with DCS as its the same thing over and over, new modules with core mechanics still lacking. I know if I bought this jet it would be like every other one, I learn it, master it and get bored quickly

The only difference is the motherboards. Our settings in the GPU are the same, are OC for both GPU and CPU are the same, but his board is different. I cannot think that the motherboard difference is the issue though, just seems VERY strange

Just wanted to say everyone is wrong, I just upgraded to a 7900 xtx from my 6900 Original poster and I have EXACT specs, even the same monitor. I am seeing 96-100% usage and awesome frames. This is something else. Cache some how? although he did do a clean and deleted those folders in DCS and no change. something is wrong here

Curious if anyone knows what up here. Both systems are 5900x CPU 32GB ram 7900 XTX GPU Both running on main drive using SSD Even running the same monitor, null His GPU usage is low, like 40-70% with bad frames. Mine is 90-100% usage and great frames. I tried having him do a clean and delete the multiplayer folder and the other folder (forgot the name) Still no change. What in the world could it be?
