  1. How do i get the update files in the first place though? In other words I would need a link!
  2. Sadly where I live I don't have any Hi speed internet provider. And so these big updates are killing me. I have to pick up the pc and drive into town to a friends place to do the updates. Does anyone know if there is a way to use an external drive to save an update and plug it in at home to do it. Maybe do a full install on the external drive and then move the entire install over to the pc. Or do I just have to move into town? Thanks Menessis
  3. Mission starts with 6 F-18's onboard. They should have drop tanks. They have in the past but I just noticed they vanished. Checked the ME and the load out which included the tanks had not changed. I switched loads, and then back....no go.......I even put together a new load out with tanks and still not loading. So I am stumped. :( Menessis
  4. Well that's what I did with it in the first place. Works fine with the exception that it is right in the way ! I have 6 humans trying to spawn in and that AI is just sitting there. Too bad it can't be moved to a parking spot..
  5. Since I still have not got this to work. Here is the miz file. Just a tanker and an F-18 entering the race track from the opposite end. Fly west and the tanker will turn to your course. I had to make the turn in two steps. But the tanker does not role out on the correct heading! He over shoots and then corrects. Test_Tanker_01.miz
  6. I was thinking of a S-3b sitting on the Carrier to be launched if anyone is having trouble recovering and running short of fuel. Dont know how I will trigger it yet but I am already stuck with the fact that I can't place it in a parking spot. It's just sitting out in the middle of the deck? Any ideas? Menessis

  8. I just had an idea to check out. It turns out that if I set the waypoints at 12 miles rather than 8 it works. Dont know why....they don't need or use 12 miles to turn 180 degrees?

  10. Hello feefifofum The required turn is 180 degrees. They begin a left turn, as they should for about 90 deg. and then reverse the turn to the right and go 270 deg to accomplish what should have been done with continuing to turn the final 90 deg. Menessis
  11. In other words what could be effecting the flight path and making the AC reverse course/turn? Menessis
  12. I am trying to set up a tanker in such a way that it will react to flights as they approach. I was thinking of trying to use the "change to way point" option and work from there. I have a moving trigger set on the tanker and when the flight is close enough the tanker will turn and role out in front of the flight. This works with the exception that the tanker will begin to make the left turn but just before the 90 deg point reverses and comes all the way around to the right! I tried it every which way, even used different AC, different altitudes and such. So any idea what may be going on here??? Thanks Menessis

  15. Thanks Hiwayman. It's a C-130 that vanishes. I have another one parked waiting to take off. The base is empty other wise. How do you tell if there is room? I would assume there is room since it lets me place one there to start with.
  16. I watched the "F-10" map while the miz ran in fast forward. It would appear that if no one tanks he can stay on station for 2.5 hours or so. I guess the tanker may depart when his "offload" fuel level is low? Menessis
  17. While trying to figure out why my trigger wasn't working I seen the problem. The AI A/C come in and land and before they reach the halfway point on the runway they vanish! So I watched a few others and they work fine. They taxi off and the crew even gets out. So why would this be happening? Thanks Menessis
  18. I think the uncontrolled method is better in that you don't get a stutter when units activate the other way. Plus you will see an AB with AC on them. Menessis

  20. I am working on a miz and have noticed that the tanker does not stick around. I have checked to see when he RTB's yet but some where around 1.5 hours. The orbit is set and just assumed it would stay until low on fuel. Any thoughts? And my flights are coming off ship. I want to set the load outs and not allow them to be changed. Cant figure out how to do it. Thanks Menessis
  21. Call tower and ask for TAXI.....after permission is granted call for chocks to be removed. Then release the brakes.
