Hi ive been having issues witht he AIM-9 latley and im not sure why? I select A2A mode with mastermode button long and get the seeker head circle TMS fwd long to begin scanning. It locks on but when i release the DMS bock turns white showing no stores with a series of three letters, i think its DRM of somthing like that. Is there something in the sequence im not wrong or not at all? Does a DMS profile need to be made? Thanks EM

Took the words out of my mouth P*Funk, Since reading the tutorial on entering wind values into the laste page, and making a routine of start up, Does this increase accuracy of the WKMD aswell as Mk82s? Also is there a tut on changing the HOF value and what the best value is?

Not sure if its been said already, but over and above the manual, print everything that can be printed from the Wiki, and subscribe to all the fantastic Youtube threads that are linked. Thinks of particular use are the hotas chart shoing what does what, and the keyboard overlay showng the hotas repeaters.

I use CH pro pedals which are great especially when i grabbed for a quarter the price, although i think Saitex are a good set also.

On the campaigns i downloaded the Devils cros and shore campaigns in the saved games>missions>campaign>en folder and the dont seem to show up, on the campaign start screen, any ideas? Thanks

All sorted now with the GHCA campaign, . Thanks for the tips on take off though. I seem to start of skew, using the toe brakes on the pedals i think its down to right foot slightly quicker than the left. bit its all part of the fun Thanks again EM

Ive had a similar sort of problem since update, before id generally press the track ir centre key once or twice, since update im doing it more as im getting very strange views for instance looking down at the hud projector and even looking up past the HSI/UFC, As an aside i mapped my tm hotas x rocker switch to zoom view, but for some reason this makes the hud text larger than it is when i start in the cockpit. Its annoying as i just got it all set up and now its borked.

Do you mean delete all the waypoints and re insert as i cant seem to change the dialogue box for the take off waypoint

Can some one remind me how you start a campaign from the ramp rather than runway. I always enjoy the ramp start sequence as i feel the regular use of my memory will halt the onset of senile dementia.

Can any one help, Im using track ir using the Yassy profile. and with a few tweaks to the profile i no longer have to lie on the floor to get a view of the EAC switch, The issue i have is, when i move back to increase my field of view the HUD scale doesnt change relative to the size of the glass reflector i think its called the collimator, therefore at a comfortable seated position sat centrally i cant see both the deprissible piper or the compass tape. Thanks loads, i found your skinning tutorial on you tube so ill have a look, i had a go last night which was a bit convoluted, i ended copying the A10 zip folder in textures then picking out the squadron, opening the file in DXT saving as bmp photo shopping and re converting adding back in to the zip and back in to textures. The only problem i have found is that when rendered in game there are access panels which aren't "painted " in the nose art, i think the panels are on the particular texture map for the canopy area of the plane but i can really spot them, Like all things i will read up and give it another crack. Im trying to put new nose art and pilot name, on an existing stock skin, how do i open an exsiting skin to to place the image? Or is it a more convoluted like editing a template folder and description.lua file? Thanks very much in advance

If were talking about the actual A-10 it the finger of god strapped under its chin. If were talking about the game, its how it engages you. I must have printed everthing printable on the Wiki, and adapted the Kylania Hotas Keyboard map to include my thrustmaster x and x box controller, and now after all that fun its time to destroy things. To go from "flicking switches and mashing buttons" on to dropping JDAMs in sequence using markpoints, is just pure joy. And know for me its trying to edit a skin so the plane has my name and fuselage artwork, gonna be tough.

How did you solve this, i reinstalled recently having refurbed my pc cpu and GPU. started it up to see if could still start her up from memory (epic fail) but with the track ir it the view was like im perched on the joystic (uncomfortable) is it not changeing head position.

If your making a binder as i did, download and print all the PDFs from the wiki as they are more valuable than the bulk of the manual if your starting out. I use a Thrustmaster Hotas X, and use a xbox 360 controller for the additional buttons, the joysticks dont work but the additional buttons are mapped to Hotas controls such as Countermeasures, radio and pinky. i use the select and start buttons as modifiers aswell therefore increasing the commands even edited the hotas key commands pdf in photoshop with the controller added so i never forget. So if you have a controller lying around then utilise it. Im sure it looks clumsy but it works until i find 250 quid down the back of sofa so i can splash out on a TM Hotas Warthog. I look at all owners with green envious eyes lol

Been away from A-10 for a few weeks (FIFA13) and im looking at updating to 1.2.1. I understand the prcedure of what to do but, As i dont have a Warthog Hotas, I have spent ages configuring my Hotas X and and Xbox 360 contoller to do the functions of the Hotas as well as other bits and bobs. What file or folder will i need to move to protect those bindings so i can put them back once i have re installed, not fussed about save games as it will give me a chance to play through again, this time without the red and blue noob blobs, in readiness for MP Cheers EM
