  1. Settings Labels - Controllers Having the same issues since the update. I also run 3 monitors.
  2. I'm having the same problem. Old commands work, just that you cannot change any of them or the controller type (column) is not visible, nor are the commands. The settings page is blank.
  3. Havintg the same problem. I'm having the same problem. I had to re-map the keys for the speedbrake to another button. I will contact TM directly for resolution. Thanks for the postings.
  4. I'm having the same issues. Launch off deck around 170 knots, don't touch the stick, then slowly loose speed and go right into the water. Tested with another plane at a regular airfield, he confirmed , my burners were on as we took off together with no issues. On the carrier, fuel flow is good, flaps full and throttles show 100% when I go into the water. Something up with the carrier model I suspect. I can get airborne, but only when flying "empty", with no gas or weapons. Flightstick is Thrustmaster Warthog. I may have to re-calibrate it again or re-install drivers.
  5. I'm having problems with a Thrustmaster Warthog. I have the airbrake buttons mapped to my throttle, but when flying, the airbrake goes out automatically sometimes. Same thing for one of my mike buttons (mapped to the communication buttons, which opens up the communications menu). I've done a test of my joystick and all of the buttons turn on/off when pressed - no problems there. I've checked my game settings - no duplicated buttons are mapped. The only way to resolve this is to manually uncouple a button to this setting in DCS. Thrustmaster has been great, and they are willing to send me some new buttons. I've heard there is a way to clear out your joystick settings as some programs may still be "in memory" and messing things up. Any ideas on how to do an input cleaning? I thought with the change from beta to normal DCS 2.5, maybe something got stuck in the translation. By the way, I do not use the Target software - just directly mapped thru the game. Thanks.
  6. Awesome. Thanks for the resources. This will be a big help. I tried to use TARGET with DCS, but somehow it would read my Thrustmaster Warthog as a joystick, a throttle, and a combined joystick/throttle. Took my a while to find out why my settings were always cockeyed.
  7. Thanks. I may just have to print out a blank TARGET profile and just pencil in my settings - seems kinda old fashion but if it works...
  8. Hello - I'm trying to determine how to print out a joystick profile I mapped directly within the DCS game. I just used the throttle by itself and did not activate the TARGET software as it was giving me problems. Now I'm trying to print out a visual/graphical picture of what I did for a reference tool while flying, but am not sure how to print this out? I know before using the TARGET software, it was easy to print out pictures of your joystick with all the commands. Not sure if there is a way to do this directly within DCS. Thanks.
  9. I'm getting back into DCS after playing FSX for some years. I use the Thrustmaster Warthog and I really like the TARGET software and am familiar with it. Now that I'm getting back into the game, I forgot how to set up the TARGET software so that it can work. I have a profile all set to go, just not sure how to use it. My initial attempts have been not too successful. I tried to re-set the controller axis within DCS settings as my flight pedals want to control my roll, etc.. but I still have some buttons that do not work. I then went into settings and noticed that you can make the controller software priority over DCS settings. Tried this, but again getting a bit lost. Any suggestions out there??
  10. Hello - I'm interested to know if there are any DCS virtual squadrons who operate on Pacific Standard Time? I'm interested in joining a squadron that flies the F-15, soon in FC3 and hopefully later one of the add-on 3rd party models.
  11. Hello - This is a newby question as I am new to the sim. I have DCS A10, Conbined Arms and DCS World installed. I'm trying to download missions from the DCS website onto my hardrive, but am not sure where to download them to. I tried a few, but they went to my general missions folder which is only accessable if I open up the mission editor subpage. Is there a way to save missions, for example training missions, so that you can have it open up under the main Training Folder? Also, when you download a mission, there are two files, a mission file and another file, called options or something?? Do you need to copy both of these onto your hard drive when you download them? Thirdly, I noticed some pay to play training missions in the DCS downloads section (user files). Although the cost is only $4.95, are these missions good to try? Thanks for any assistance. Eager to begin training on this great sim.
