  1. Hey Guys! After successfully setting up my new PLP-view using SoftTh, which looks now like this: I'm having this problem: As you can see, with the external views (F2, F3) the midpoint is near the bottom of my mainscreen. My question: Is it possible, to change the Viewpoint like in the Cockpit and move this external views in the Y-axis so that the ext. view is again in the middle of my mainscreen?? Thanks
  2. Abnaxus, any new info about the Cautionpanel-lightexport? Or Gauges? I have seen that there are gauge-exports for android-tablets... so wouldnt it be similar to get those data for helios?? just questioning, i have no idea of programming and such things. Thanks for sharing your profile anyway...!

    Shutting down APU

Since the release of the Huey i havent flown the Hog till yesterday with the newest update. I found out that the sound from the APU stopps abrupt when shutting it down...it does not run out. Is this already known? Please fix that :music_whistling:
  4. Hi TonyZ! After some confusing hours, i also found out that you can only start it to work properly when DCS is already started... It's a bit tricky with SoftTh... I hope this will get changed again for us Pitbuilders...!
  5. Or in shorter words...: The Control Center does not stay on top as usual... it dissapears and i never can get it back...
  6. Hey guys, please help...! like above, since the latest update i made yesterday, i'm having troubles with helios. i assume it has to do with my softth. problem: when i start helios profile via the controlcentre, everything looks good. all screens are as they should be. then i start dcs:world (multiplayer), and the helios controlcentre and some of my helios-screens are gone. i use helios on 6 different monitors, but after starting the game (sorry, "simulation" ;) ) there is helios only on 3 monitors displayed. and i cant open the controlcentre to change the profile or what ever... BUT: i can do a little trick - i start dcs (mp) and while the first loadingscreen is visible, i must start helios and a profile... sometimes it works and i have all screens running, but still without the controlcentre... this also happens in SP... does someone have the same issue? any suggestions, or solutions??? pleeeease :helpsmilie: thanks!
  7. thanks ripper... i already tried my luck there... so i hoped some guys here would have any idea :(
  8. Do you guys have set a new FoV in the server.lua? The min/max is the viewangle which you can zoom in/out and in the defaultview.lua you set your desired FoV (zoomlevel) Im not at my rig right now, but try to change your FoV in the server.lua to a bigger one. E.g. {20.00000,155.00000} And in the defaultview.lua set FoV to 120... now you should be able to move fwd and aft. Maybe this helps... Edit: today i had to setup new all keystrokes and buttons from P-51. Since the Update TrackIR wasnt working in the Mustang. After redoing all commands, trackIR worked fine again - dont know why or what this was...
  9. Does anyone know how to change the position of the yellow script (Autopilot Mode) from the right side of the screen? And also of this red square? is there a *.lua -file where we can change the x,y-coordinates? (like for the other exports)
  10. ...as above... anyone got it working already?
  11. here you go... same issue here. file is from a friend, i made the same mistake :music_whistling: View.rar

  13. You saved my Holiday today, Kuky! Thanks for the hint with server.lua...
  14. i tried true/false but no luck... i can change y-trans, vangle, viewangle... but NOT x_trans  WHY??? im going slightly mad!!!
  15. Hey Kuky, where do i have to set those Min and Max FoV? Can't find it... Cause im having a problem with the x_trans. im not able to set a proper distance to my Cockpit/Dashboard. Maybe its because the min/max isnt set up properly after update?
  16. yeah, seems that we must re-do every setting in these files... but i have a little problem, i cannot really change the x_trans. either way i change the x_trans, it doesent really change my position (fwd/aft). all other positions are changeable... any idea?
  17. i'm leaving work noooooww... yeah baby!!!! :joystick:
  18. 1.2.4 is here? for real? Huey will come the next hours? i must leave work ASAP!!!!!!! :D
  19. I agree... will be nice for some freeflight. But really... why waiting so long for a terrain where no "real action" can be placed. Maybe it will be nice to overshoot vegas in a very low level, but thats all i think. I cant understand why they put so much energy and time in this "little and action-less" map. Wouldnt it be a nicer environmet for lets say at the balkans or so? But: dont get me wrong, any new map than the black sea is appreciated
  20. Hey Guys! I do not have FC3 for now, but i am thinking about it. But only because the F15C. And this also will be only interesting for me if i could use my Helios-Pit for it. I have already read somewhere (?) that it should be possible to use the FC2 F15-profile for FC3. Just to point the "profile-installer" from the Helios Control Centre to DCS:W and add something in the export.lua. And this is my problem. I already have this combined export.lua with comands for a10 and ka50. What would i have to put additionally inside this export.lua? Is there someone out there who can confirm that this FC2 Helios-profile is working for DCS:W FC3 F15?? And if yes, is there someone who could add these missing strings in my export.lua?? pleeeeease :helpsmilie:
  21. Resignation. I'm sick of this waiting. I'm going to spend my 50 bucks in a Dinner and flowers for my wife. Because i know what i will get for it and i know when - this evening and not just some day
  22. Yes GregP, the small ones are usb-toch monitors. Unfortunately the bigger Helios-screen is no touchscreen... Thank's Smil! I haven't really tested it right now, first i have to do the viewpoint-settings. But after some first tries i think it runs a bit smoother due to this SoftTH. (a better GUI for this would be better) Maybe i can tell you some more the next days... Thank you so far!
  23. Oh, and here is my result: Bezel correction wasn't easy first, but then i found a good "how to": http://www.kegetys.fi/forum/index.php?topic=2966.0
  24. after some confusing hours i finally made it... thank you smil!
