Hi, I am about to get a new PC. The folder where DCS is located on my current PC is cca 320 GB big. Is there an official way how to "copy" the folder to the new PC? I gues it is possible just to copy the folder using an external disk for example. But I am not sure whether it cannot result in any problems in the future. I am looking for a supported way. Anoher option is to do a clear installation. But with my internet connection it means at least 3 days of downloading. Therefore I am looking for a quicker way. Thanks in advance

Hello, other sims make it posisble to merge sceneries from different vendors. Please do not take it wrong. I am a big fan of ED. Once the Mosquito is out, it would be great to have a big ww2 theatre.

I have purchased the map and it looks fantastic. However I am one of them who are disapointed that the map does not merge with the Normandy map. I like to fly long distances and once the Mosquito is out, it would be great to have a "bigger" ww2 map. I am aware that there are different levels and flavours of detail and textures, but I would be ok with that. Hope ED will concider to merge the maps.

There are couple of pictures of the new water effects.

The water effects (waves) has been always very good in DCS. Recently I noticed that there are new offshore effects. You can see now the depth of water and it is realy convincing. I like to just take a helicopter and fly along a coast. To me it is clear that the people behind DCS are dedicated to the product and care about their customers. Otherwise there would not be such free improvements. That is all I wanted to express, Jiri

Hi guys, can anyone help me? I got oculus rift 4 weeks ago.When I start a mission everything is usualy smooth. After a while I get a double view when moving my head (still the simulation is smooth). Sofar it looks that I have this problem always with Nevada map. On Caucasus it is sometime ok and sometime not (sometime it is ok 5 minutes, sometime 30 minutes, sometime all the time) I tried to lover graphical setings but it seems, there is not influence. My specs are procesor: I7, RAM: 32GB, video card 1080Ti. When the problem ocures I am not hiting the limits of my PC (everything is about 50%). I do not have the problem for example with Google Earth. When the problem ocurs in DCS then even if I exit DCS the problem prevails until I restart Oculus application. It seems to me that on some conditions DCS does something to Oculus Rift. But I cannot figure out what I should set or avoid to run without this problem. Thank in advance for anz help

I prefere to have a new map rather a new plane now (probably because I have got the Huey, which is excellent and flying it in a more detailed map would be superb!)

I purchased Huey X for FSX from Aerosoft. And have to say that it suprised me how challenging is to fly it. I would compare the flight dynamics to Ka-50 from ED.

Someone posted that above. To broaden the area of the black see would be great. I would like to have larger map then is available now.

Thanks for replay sobek. As some guys stated here I hope the movement of this thread does not mean any change in releasing the Nevada map. To me the DCS is the far best simulation on the market. Thanks for your great work ED! I actualy rarerly fight in the simulation. Mostly I just fly. May sound strange :), but I realy do enjoy flying DCS due to its fidelity and realism. Again thanks ED and looking forward to any new modul and maps.

Is there more info about the size of a region the Nevada map will cover. What will be the size of the Nevada map? Does the Nevada map cover larger region than the Georgia map? Thanks.

Hi Prowler111, realy looking forward to it. Looks great. Do you have an estimation when a first version for DCS will be available?

The flight manual of A-10C has nearly 700 pages. Just to write the flight manual has to take a considerable time. To create an aircraft on A-10C level has to be resource consuming task. If ED put more resources to development to shorten the release intervals and ask more money for a module I would pay that (I am repeating here myself :)).

My opinion is that there is nothing which can match the DCS in fidelity and realism. I would like to see in DCS a long range (possibly reconoscence) plane and a larger map. Not realy interested wheather it is a western or an eastern aircraft. As a programmer myself I am aware of the amount of work it takes and if the ED asked for more money for a module they would definitely get it from me. Meanwhile I will enjoy A-10C, Ka-50 and P-51D. Outstanding job ED!
