  2. I don't play multiplayer (lets see how long it takes for someone to tell me I'm missing out; I don't have anyone to play with and I hate flying with randoms), but could you please explain to me the issue here, and what your fix does?

I'm hoping Beczl will have his MiG-21 finished by then. I'm getting rather bored of ground pounding by now, want a detailed air to air fighter :D What do think/will/want to be included in 1.2.7, if anything at all?
  5. How do I create a zone, and then also how do I use triggers? For now I've just set it so they begin to fly at around the time the AWACS and flight shows up, but don't have an exit trigger or any of that other stuff. Mission attached btw. Don't judge my unrealism, it would be boring then. Also I'm really winging it with the enemy fighters too, just going by the ETA given when you place waypoints and adjusting speed, activation time, etc accordingly. EDIT: I'd also like to add a few radio messages in the mission, like when the MiGs depart, a text would appear, worded like a radio transmission from them, saying that they are breaking off. Or, if the AWACS is hit but not dead.How would I go about doing that? Also, is it perhaps possible to make it so the AWACS leaves when it itself reaches the area, not the MiGs?   6. Forgive me, I'm truly clueless when it comes to editing in DCS. I'm creating a mission where you are flying escort for an AWACS which is flying a terribly unrealistic route to another friendly airbase through enemy territory. At one point during the mission, I want two friendly MiG-29s to fly up and escort the AWACS alongside your flight, as you pass their airbase. However, I don't know how to do this. Is it possible to make the MiGs stay parked until the AWACS flies near their base? And then have them stick around until they reach a certain point/run out of fuel/ammo? If i'm not specific enough, ask me something else. If not, then it'd be much appreciated if someone could help me do this.

  10. Hello, pilots As I state in the thread title, how can I go about increasing the distance at which units appear? Recently I've been working on the base Su-25, not the 25T, and with this one spotting is done all by eyesight, as you know. I can't do this very well if I can't see the enemy until 3 seconds before a safe engagement point. Thanks in advance
  11. I'm still installing the Steam version, sorry for any stupidity. How would i go about entering my serial? I don't have to purchase the modules again do I? :cry: Oh and from I remember reading (a while ago, might have changed), there was an issue for those who upgraded from BS1 to BS2? I did that, all non-steam versions, so will I have problems?

  13. Transfer of modules to Steam Hello, pilots. I'm wondering if it is at all possible to transfer my modules to the Steam version of DCS World? And if so, how? I'm considering the switch to Steam because it keeps my games much more organized, and since Combined Arms is on sale and I have just enough in my Steam wallet for it. Hope I was specific enough in asking. EDIT: Ah, thanks for the move. Question still stands. :/

  16. So what does that do, and how to I activate those changes? Will it automatically start showing like that once I drop it into the proper folder? Or will I need to change some settings in-game?
  17. Hey guys. Sorry for an overly simple question, I tried to google this, but found no answer. How can I make the amount of buildings increase? Usually all I see is a few larger buildings and then its just 2D texture everywhere else. Thanks in advance
  18. Hmmm... I'm not being much of a help here but I use a 4-way hat to slew. When I do, for example, up AND right, it goes both up And right. Just a suggestion.
  19. Ooh ooh here! Just started happening to me. Funny enough, I had scenes to medium once I patched the game. I then set it to high, just to give it a go, and it gave me 2 working free flights with the Mi-8. When I attempted the F-15C instant action, thats when it started to crash. halp.
  20. In Apocalypse Now, the scenes with Killgore were loaded with Hueys, obviously. They're AIR CAV! Probably my favorite part of the movie was the scenes with Killgore.
  21. What I like about this is that those are most likely Mavericks, due to where they appear from on the wing. Not that they can't be used in an AA role, I've done it my fair share of times, but if you look earlier in that video there's the underside of an A-10 and all pylons have a single AIM-9 if I remember. I'd assume this was standard loadout. Love that paint though.

  23. I don't have any mods AFAIK I don't see this "lights" part, even after a Ctrl+F search? And also I don't understand what I have to do.
  24. Some sort of ambient combat module that creates a living world with randomly spawned units. I'm sure that's been said already. But nothing's worse than creating a mission for 3 hours that is an open world thing but it only lasts like one hour. I need my enjoyment. Or would that be more of ED's responsibility? Also door gunner AI, and online players manning other stations in the whirlybird. Oh, also the 40mm nose mounted grenade launcher. I see an option for it on the console. :)
  25. Beautiful. And those troops spawn when you land your whirlybird, they simulate troops in your cargo. Pretty neat. They come back in when the pilot also "enters." Also the weight of your bird changes as the troops "leave" and "enter" to represent their weight.
