  1. So I got one up and running, a projector that is.
  2. Starnge please explane. :joystick:
  3. Lets see some TAC VIEW MADDOGS, Come on lets SEE Some action.! :pilotfly::thumbup:
  4. :) Hi, You know its nice to see how much knoledge we all have about the subject, but dont you think it becomes pointless when the Simulated physics are "Simulated". Also no one here is an expert on the subject and if you are and you decide to exploit information M.P.s will be knocking at your door. Lets bring the subject back to "Simulation" and how they work in LOMAC. Try somthing new lets see some hard evidince like TAC VIEWs. Show some MISSION EDITOR experiments, lets get some good "Visual" information instead of everyone trying to "One-Up" everyone else.
  5. 90%? Hu, I dont know about 90% more like 40%
  6. Well Im hopeing that that the 2 projectors will make up the distance. The Projectors will be behind me over my head. The current projector I have is realy nice, I dont use it for LOMAC but im contemplating this due to my new project. You can change the aspect ratio and all sorts of stuff from the projector alone. Ill just need to experiment and get info from you guys.
  7. Very strange and also why didnt the MIG lock the F-15 up on that head to head Knife fight. Going up against a so called "Battle Hardend" Iraqi pilots was a farse at best. I just dont get it why the MIgs didnt lock them up? :pilotfly:
  8. You need to predict where your bandit will be, with no mid couse updates your missile is taking a straight line to where the target "Was" fastest and shortist distance to the target. Then if your lucky when your missile goes active then it moves. Your missile effectiveness range can be augmented in many ways. With a skillfull pilot they will know when to use this tactic. Here is a good example of what we are talking about. On this specific mission flown I was egressing to Sochi when a well placed R-77 got me, it was a Maddog/SPAM" shot from at least 17nm away. The Tac-View track is long gone but it was a good and lucky shot. http://stats.169thpanthers.com/pilotstats.php?month=September&pilot=cool_t :pilotfly:
  9. :) Actualy, in the Vietnam air war the Crusader had the best Kill ratio in Air to Air engagements. Hot and intence, just imagin how frustrated some pilots got after there missiles did not work or there guns jammed. :pilotfly:
  10. :) Yep, im messin around with some stuff, its fun and a chalenge. thanks for the info.
  11. hi Yes, I watched some of them this week and compared and contrasted engagments. Man just imagin the rush, fear, and excitement. The one show that realy put me in a loop was the 'Gulf War" show. The F-15cs had issues with IFF, and some of the guys in my mind hesitated way to long befor shooting there missiles. It also was striking how the F-15s di not get locked up much or not at all, strange. In my opinion the F-15 pilots let the migs get in way to close, or the AWAX guys were having a smoke break and could not tell the F-15 guys that they were bandits. That Mig-25 got way to close im surprised that the "Battle Hardend" Iraqi fighter pilots did not get a kill that day, the F-15 pilots never saw combat befor. :joystick:
  12. Try This out! Go to your mission editor, 1. Put a bandit 40nm away from you going head to head, at about 25nm lock tha bandit up and look at your target indicator on the HUD. Then un lock the bandit and fire 120s or R-77s, ETs, in the general direction. 2. Now put the bandit 40nm away from you going head to head, at about 25nm lock him up and wait for MAX range indication and fire your 120s or R-77s, ETs. Check it out and see the results or missile KILL ZONES in this experiment. Youwill find that the missile works harder in one of these cases which is contradictory to "Active" and "Pasive" radar intercept points. Thats what is funny, :pilotfly:
  13. SPAMRAM I think Pilo said it good, but as some people just say one is a spamer is no cause for alarm. 1. Remember that if you "Spam/Maddog" all of your missiles are shot at one point of engagement, your adversairy needs to just get out of that kill zone and then you are Winchester. 2. "Spamming/Maddoging" works good against screen printers also, it puts a volly of missiles in the general direction and when they are done warping "KAAAA-POWWW" Spalsh Bandit. 3. Dont wory about being called a "Spamer/Maddoger" its just venting of the shot-down pilots frustration. 4. Also the cannons on and jet have very hight rates of "Spamming/Maddoging" fire. Just imagin if your cannon on your jet was reduced to "SEMI AUTOMATIC FIRE" 5. Try various forms of "Spamming/Maddoging" you will find the "Kill-Ratio" of what ever missile you are using vary from ALTITUDE-ATTITUDE-PLATFORM SPEED and OFF SET ANGLE OF ATTACK. I will be honest with you, I will try differnt forms of tactics on various servers where I push the razor edge. Wather or not my experiments and "New" tactics work is shown in my Kill Ratio or Kill Ratio devided by number of sorties flown. I would also like to point out that the 169th Server and team is a good place to realy test your skills, Martin and team have good eyes on whos "Playing hard and fair" 169th is the only server where I care about bringing my F-15c back home with plenty of "Newbee" and "Ace" pilots to learn from. :book:
  14. Nice Some good ideas, thanks. :pilotfly:
  15. Hi, With all of the great expectaions and development of the DCS projects I feel that an upgrade is also needed in my PC, and external Video extensions. I am currently building a new "Super" PC that can handle quite a bit multitasking. I find that with my current PC-hardwear, comparitive to what some guys/girls have, my stuff is quite just a bit lower tec. So here are some questions for you guys. 1. Should I use Tracker-IR- I do not use it, never have concluded a benifit of using it. What are the benifits, advantages, disadvantages? 2. Can u use 2 Digital projectors and seperate there field of view so that one projector shows your left of 12oclock and right of 12oclock- with a custom projection screen that represents a half circle infront of you so the projections come to your true left and true right? 3. Is there also a way of stretching the current field of view from the normal cockpit view to full 180" or more? I know it would help if i could tell you what kind of Vid cards I have and Mother board but right now my bud is building it. As far as I know-Dual vid cards, and dual-core. I will get more info this week. Thanks, :joystick:

  17. Ahhhhh Errrrr, Does this mean hes been doing this for years? God imagin he delivers presents all over the world, what about SAMs, and other intercept flights in places where people do not believe in Santa? By Gosh he must have a KILLER KILL RATIO. :megalol::thumbup:
  18. Its Funny I just dont get the sinimatography. Fun times!
  19. Wow! Wow! Very Nice! I need one of those! :)
  20. :) Very nice, Hope to see you guys soon!
