My experience with it so far after lots of practice, is that I've finally learned the positions to aim for and its 50/50 whether I connect or not nowadays, BUT the bit I struggle with is im not sure if its me, but it seems to disconnect far to easy, always seems like the hose has no give in it at all. I refuel for about 10 seconds tops.

ive copied my logbook.lua file over to 2.5 but all my campaigns are set at 0, which files should we copy one so we dont lose and progress?

Your right, i feel such a fool now. Ive just done the INS training again, its on by default, when it is lit. The only button that stays lit on the PNC if its on lol. So because ive had it in my head to push the button, ive been turning it off. Thanks for helping out, i appreciate it.

Yes thats what i mean, ive been pushing it once, when im all set up and ready to taxi, but when i pass a waypoint it still hasn't changed the waypoint.

I thought that was the case, ive been pushing that and the waypoint hasn't been changing up, i seem to have it in my head that you have to push something on the left hand side of the cockpit to.

sorry for asking this, somewhere i see how to set up the ins etc so it automatically changes waypoint once your within 1.5 miles. i cant remember how to do it, or where i see i demonstrated? many thanks

In the post that Vampire linked, it says that in the near future the updater will ask to clean up the .torrent files. Nearly 12 months on, this still isn't the case, is it still safe to delete the files in the /downloads/.torrets folder manually without any issues. They are the culprit of my disk defray taking many hours due to sheer size.

white light shining on the ground Whats the white light for that is always shining on the ground underneath the F5, even in day light even at some altitude? It doesnt seem to switch off with anything and you cant see the source underneath the aircraft?

Ok Chaps, so I have now mastered the basics of aviation, even have a few kills under my belt but I have a question that I can't even find in the manual when it comes to dropping some bad arse bombs. How do you determine what bombs are supposed to be dropped CCIP/CR or CCRP mode, or can they all be dropped either way? Ps, where do you get the fancy signature blocks from? Many thanks in advance

Congratulations my friend, I know what it feels like, I've had my new system a couple of weeks now and the only thing I have loaded is DCS a10, like you, I can now start, take off and land without any difficulty (think creaming the landings comes from my FSX days lol), now time to learn some hardcore weaponry skills

I haven't bothered with any of the exclusive tick boxes as been letting it run itself. It was more of a case that it associates the black shark profile from the titles list rather than dcs a-10 profile from the titles list

Good morning, after some wait I finally have my dream system and able to enjoy these titles, so I am in the middle of a big learning curve. I noticed something wasn't right with my trackir profile whilst running a-10 so whilst in game I checked trackir, and it seems to select the black shark default profile rather than just the default profile or the dcs a-10 profile. Is there a way I can stop this happening? I've also heard there are some better profiles on here some where for trackir. Many thanks in advance

Any ideas why I can remove the lctrl modifier? Only started using this weekend? When I re assign the trim hat it shows only the trim hat but when I come out of that window lctrl is back in front of it, have also had a look in the modifier window?

That's what I paid for mine at overclockers.co.uk, maplin were out of stock at the time. A simple shopping search on google brings up all sorts of weird and wonderful prices

Glad I've stumbled across this post, I have trackir and hotas warthog, for some reason I can't get rid of the lctrl modifier which I have to use with the trim hat, it's not assigned to anything else, I just want to be able to use the trim hat on its own

How much for a hotas warthog??? I've just fitted myself out with a complete new system so spent a fair bit of time looking around websites for good deals and I know a website that will shave £70 off of that price, message me for further details.

Ok so I've made the purchase, what a bargain. They have emailed me the activation codes for both. I'm not bother to download them until I have my new system. I take it if I wanted to I can download from DCS instead and use the activation codes from gogamer? They won't expire?

Was good to see what you have put there Erforce, thank you for spending your time doing that. Question: in DCS, what is classed as a good - very good - excellent FPS? And what effects does it have in game, I'm no stranger to FPS as I have been playing FSX for years and years on not the best system.

I've been reading lots and lots of posts to see how these titles will perform on my new system I'm in the middle of purchasing. I do those by reading people comments on what settings they have and then look at what there system specs are etc etc. But for a newbie like me, is there a post somewhere or some one kind enough to explain what all the graphic setting and abbreviations mean. For example what does MSAA mean and what is the difference Between setting it from X4 and X16, and what effect does it have in game apart from giving you 2 more FPS And what does disabling Vsync do to the graphics in game Etc etc etc Maybe has seen a post like this and has bookmarked it for future reference Many thanks

I'm far from an expert but from what I've read, and this goes for a whole host of other titles like FSX, the general rule is that the main game/sim runs on one core and maybe sounds or something on another core, I have read about people doing things with the cores that are far to technical for me to even start to talk about lol

Thank you for your reply, yes it is gogamer, I have been posting in another thread saying about how I'm currently in the middle of buying a new system so I can run DCS titles. So I may purchase this weekend and then see I I can wait to download until I get my new system set up.
