  1. That explains a lot of what I've been enduring with that Stick without Joy... By the way it took me two months until I was able to master DodoSim 206 on level five. You must be a born Pilot by nature if only after many hours you were up for a stroll!
  2. With a Master in Mass-Media Psychology I know how the human brain functions enough to say which type of logic assessment we imply on setting Algorithms and Parameters to animate virtual objects - so finally those digital THINGS are our Babies. In life when educations fails we always set the blame on the society, whereas in most cases the debts is on our account. So as a programmer you must know the hierarchy of "If" and "Array" after which a Pixel object is bound to predict its reaction to an action. Multiple choices must underlie specific priorities and digital erratical behavior is most due to factors that hasn't been taken into account. There is always a repeatable pattern for those odds. The only reason for total unpredictability is if the software simulator is based on artificial intelligence. I don't have any clue if DCS has implemented AI for neural networks. That is the only plausible explanation for what you've described up there. The visible side effect in that case is when you find your data in constant distend...
  3. Thanks a lot Boris & Dave, as an FSX User who joined DCS recently, I have really confused this system with the Force Release embedded in the DODO-Sim Jet Ranger 206, (best Add-On Heli) which has a conventional Cyclic Stick and was flying it on its highest realistic level 5. It's the FSX favorite Heli for real Pilots. After this tutorial I had a flight with the Ka-50 and it was a real peace of cake compared with a conventional helicopter, almost like a toy. But in warfare you need a toy like this to put all your concentration on the environment around you. I think the Forum interface needs retouches where major topics like "Trimming the Ka-50" from Acedy are better filed in a transparent and easy manageable hierarchy for beginners and SNAs. I still didn't quite get the big difference between when the Box in "Option/Special/Central Position Trimmer Mode" is checked, and when it's unchecked (standard)?
  4. Thanks for the info. Here is the Link where to get i: ED Forums » English » Sim Topics » Mods and Apps » DCS Mods » JTAC for KA-50 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=93228
  5. ...horny Wing...
  6. ...I only fly SIM! Thanks for the warning anyhow...
  7. Here's a Wish a lot of BS Pilots will be grateful for: It's about time to implement AWACS like for e.g. the A-10C. With the new update, we're starting to get more hits from IR Rockets without any Laser warning, which is more realistic and therefore a lot better... IR ground attacks that are monitored with Radars can be better avoided than IR Airborne threats by avoiding the area, especially because the latter can follow you. So as the KA-50 doesn't have any Radar Warning Systems nor a Radar against any Airborne threats, you're a sitting duck! Late Edit Sorry, it already exists: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=93228
  8. Thanks a lot Wolf, I was indeed running the Monitor in Full Screen, because I was used to FSX, where it's the opposite. Now I can really enjoy my second Monitor... In the Monitor Set-Up Guide of yours, did I get it right, that it is possible to combine the Shkval_MFCD & Abris_MFCD in ONE secondary Monitor?
  9. I have two Monitors 1920x1080 with a problem of splitting the Resolution to the two Monitors. The DCS manual says: RESOLUTION. Select the resolution that the game will be played in. Note that the Aspect radio will automatically be set to best match the selected resolution. For users with a multi-monitor setup, the total resolution can be entered manually. ASPECT. The aspect ratio of the display will automatically be set to the current Resolution, but it may also be entered manually. For Monitors I chose: CAMERA + LMFCD For Resolution: I suppose I have to add the width of both monitors to the following: 3840x1080, so the ASPECT RATIO was automatically set to 3.5555555555556, which is weird because all other RATIO options including my standard 16:9 have a ":" instead of ".". Here is the option of entering the RATIO manually NOT available! So with this setting DCS crashed every time I started a mission. Also crashed with 16:9 RATIO. I have a very powerful Computer and Graphic Card and is working fine with multi-Monitor on FSX. So am I setting the wrong resolution here or is it something else? My DxDiag - MSconfig is attached DxDiag - MSconfig.txt
  10. ...So either RTB or get humped - this is blackmail! Mutiny will be Court Martialed... Roger! >:(
  11. So then better report it as a Bug... Our Budd is not an Airport!
  12. Are my Wingmen going crazy? Here's a weird situation: (snapshot attached) In the "Clear Tkchaveli" mission today I managed to land safely after a hit, so I gave the Flight the command "Complete Mission and RTB". Instead of attacking the enemy column in front, Wingman 2 landed on top of me and short after that, Wingman 3 too! I've witnessed already while taxing how my Wingman bumped into me from behind. But a group of suicidal behavior like that is too much! Have the programmer implemented any drugs in the Wingmen's Cockpit?!
  13. In 30% of Trim use, the Cyclic-Stick freezes totally and can only get loose after a Trim-Reset and sometimes by itself after 5 seconds which is fatal when flying in low altitude. As far as understood this Trim is a Force-Release as substitute for the constant pressure laid on the Spring-Joystick which is a very good solution for that... I have no idea what is causing it, as it happens without any influence of pushing other Key-Commands, and also still happening after the latest update of yesterday 1.2.4.12547. Beyond that the Option/Special/Central Position Trimmer Mode supposes to centralize the Yaw - Roll - Pitch, which it does with the exception of pitch; after Trim-Reset it still has a strong backward pitch that leads to a fast backward drift. I know this is a cheat option, yet as most user have Spring-Joystick, it's a really good help only if it also centralizes the pitch to "neutral", especially when considered how often it's needy to restart from Hover position without having to make a deep Pitch-Trim re-adjustment. I wanted to attach a "LastMissionTrack.trk" file, but I couldn't find the "Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\Temp" neither in: C:\Users\BiBa\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\? nor the Ka-50\Temp in: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\? So where else is this Ka-50\Temp to be found? DxDiag-BiBa.txt
  14. Thanks for the Tip... I wonder if the Frequency shouldn't be implemented in the ABRIS Sub-Modes/Info/Airport (compared with the A-10 CDU). If not, these Info should be on the Knee-board of the Pilot for e.g. like in real life. As this Knee-board already exist, I suggest changing the Mapping of its content with a list all Airport frequencies. Shifting to the Map implies pausing the flight which ruins the reality of it. Awesome would be if there is a way to implement a chosen Screenshot* of the Map (F10) into the Knee-board to keep always a realistic overview of the battlefield in the Cockpit! (*like by clicking once on the Knee-board the last in-between saved Screenshot is mapped in) Hope the programmer considers these two options for the sake of perfectionism.
  15. The 127.50 COM was supposed to be a universal communication channel for Flight and ATC. Now the Flight is only responding to 124.00 and the ATC only to their respective number. But stupidly they took off the Channel number out of the Radio ATC Menu. It is a good thing to set the communication to a higher realistic level in SIM like in the A-10, but the user should also be warned and supported with sufficient information to do the proper communication and spare him the trouble of finding out by himself what's going wrong. So as a pass by first, we need prompt a clue where to find the list of all ATC COMs!
  16. I had a crash but I couldn't find the "Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\Temp" neither in: C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\? nor the Ka-50\Temp in: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\? So where else is this Ka-50\Temp to be found? I have WIN 7 64bit
  17. Thanks for the good Tip, (RALT \) but what about the rest of the Flight commands with "LWin + *", how do I fix that, They're also not reacting anymore! By the way the RAlt + \ command belongs to SPU-9 PTT in the Ins Cyclic Stick, I wondered what was that for, now I know...
  18. The automatic update that took place today screwed the Radio COM in the BS2!. When a mission starts, the Radio Menu is available and commands are normally audio-implemented, but a few minutes after that, the Radio Menu doesn't open anymore, nor any other standard command to Wingman that I've assigned on the HOTAS can be activated. I restarted the computer & BS2 but the same problem still remains. Is anybody else having the same syndroms?
  19. With your interactive training Missions no need for the training Videos anymore. Great Job! DCS should have paid you a reward for your effort
  20. Training Videos installation problem I've acquired the latest version of Ka-50 Black Shark 2 and installed it successfully in the standard path (Program file/Eagle.../DCS World) with registry and is running well, but every time I try to install one of the five training Videos, there is an error report: "Black Shark 2 not found, installation interrupted". There is here no option to look for the right path, as it closes up automatically. Need a solution. Many thanks in advance

  22. In Multiplayer - Nope I didn't... Well I suppose if the others can't see the pilot with the parachute, he'll probably end up smashed like a fly on some other Plane's windshield:doh:
  23. Press F2 to see the pilot with the parachute, and F1 to go back!:smilewink:
  24. Waking Pilot too slow When the Pilot after ejecting is on the ground, it's a great thing to make him move around with the Joystick to explore the 3D objects on the ground and scout the environment! But the wake is too slow, so is there an option to make him wake faster or better run like for e.g. the option in Micro Soft Flight?:music_whistling:
  25. Knock three times, that's the answer! Nice to see the ejection for the first time... Thanks a lot
