I'm having a big problem with the cursor that starts to move randomly and independently on the left/right MFCD or Hud as soon as I set the SPI on. This also leads of losing targets, once caged with the TGP. The problem has nothing to do with the Hardware (Saitek X52) as it's been tested and working 100%. I waited for the latest Update, but I see on the Forum that I'm the only one having that problem. Also the Wingman do not respond to the order: Attack with/Air Defenses, but do respond to the rest. (old problem since four updates) I've made that flight with my Firewall Off, (Zone Alarm Extreme) out of the Instant mission (Medium - Georgian Foothills - Summer) and attached it as a TRACK file where the irregularities of the the cursor are obvious between way-point 3.PATROL and 5.TANKS. Need urgent help Many Thanks in advance Medium - Georgian Foothills - Summer.miz

I just found out why I couldn't find this "200" because referring to the Manual of X:COCKPIT ARGUMENT IN RANGE, their link: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Uh-1H\Cockpit\Scripts\clickabledata-lua only goes for the A-10 For the UH-1H I found it in: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Uh-1H\Cockpit\Scripts\mainpanel_init.lua But in case somebody needs it for the A-10 I found the following interesting download: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/84654/

That reminds me of the times before becoming vegetarian, I used to eat a Greek speciality of boiled sheep's Brain potted in Olive oil, but I never saw the version brain fried! Oh - those days sheeps didn't have yet an encounter with computers :megalol:

Thanks... Do you get your Info directly out of the lua-File or do you have other more simplified resources?

I've developed good knowledge in Mission Editor up to the part where I have to deal with the "X:*" in "CONDITIONS". The Manual refers to the path: (C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Uh-1H\Cockpit\Scripts) where, by using Notepad++, I tried to deal with those *.lua files but couldn't get any clear results. It's like having to make a chirurgical operation on intestinal parts without a surgeon license! For eg. I need the following information under CONDITIONS/X: COCKPIT ARGUMENT IN RANGE/argument: 200 what for does the number 200 stands? I've used the search function but didn't get any results. and under ACTIONS/X: COCKPIT PERFORM CLICKABLE ACTION/COCKPIT DEVICE: 9/Command:3036/VALUE: 0 I know that the left Gunner door opens, but what do I use for the right Gunner door? Finally: is there a simplified version of the six CONDITIONS in a form of an alphabetical list of Instruments with their adequate numbers, without having to deal with those lua files? PS. I'm not sure if I've posted my thread in the right place, so I wouldn't mind transferring it to another place Many thanks in advance

Due to unknown reason, my Firewall (ZoneAlarm Extreme) didn't recognize this mission. May be the latest update changed some DCS registry signature?! Anyway problem solved - case closed

In the Mission Editor you work on something really hard, testing it, and then it comes up to a point, where on the start you get a Fatal error: "Unhandled exception in Host Library (thread 2024)" see attached picture The mission UN-Flight 6 (also attached) is a Campaign Mission thoroughly modified. I checked it again and again, but couldn't find the reason why it's crashing. Hope you can help :helpsmilie: PS. I have the latest DCS Update of October the 8 UN-Flight 6.miz

I've opened a thread in: ED Forums » English » Digital Combat Simulator » DCS: A-10C Warthog » Bugs and Problems » A-10C Avionics and Weapons » SPI-Wingman assignment problem http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=111757 For 9 weeks awaiting for Support without any reply! Two Updates already and it still hasn't been fixed! Can you deal with it?

EDITED: 11.24.13 Due to ZIP compression, the prior TRACK attachment above was corrupted. I've uploaded today a new TRACK and re-downloaded for checking and is OK. More details are cited above

Thanks & sorry, I missed the fine picture details in your Link.
-
Yep, it's working fine now... Only a clairvoyant can find those Pilot Reticle hidden switches without Support help! Thanks for the link
-
Thanks... keyboard.lua deleted. Both Pilot & Co-Pilot arms are functioning now. Still, the light of the Pilot's Reticle remains off! To spare you the search, attached are the Reticle Key-Commands of both Pilot and Co-Pilot. Co-Pilot Commands are 6, while the Pilot Commands are only 3. The 2 important Pilot Commands for Lamp On/Off are missing, and using the Co-Pilot Commands doesn't affect them. So what are those two 2 Pilot Commands for Reticle Lamp On/Off?
-
If I understood you right, deleting this means remapping over 1000 Keyboard-Commands! In this case it's better to remap my Joystick profile adequately to the DCS updated Keyboard Command. But again, here it's not an issue of mapping commands; the problem is that the "Aiming Reticle" of Pilot and Co-Pilot are acting separately from each other. The Co-Pilot "Aiming Reticle" is activated / descending but the Pilot "Aiming Reticle" remains still. Above that, it seems now that in it, the TrackIR option has been erased, as it's grey, and it's not possible anymore to assign the "Aiming Reticle" commands for the TrackIR. If that's the case, then it's a stupid decision. It looks like now that the "Aiming Reticle" is only operable by Key-Commands (or Mouse?!) Even after pressing "M", when I activate the Pilot "Aiming Reticle" manually by pressing its 3D lever and it goes down, there is no dot-light in it, whereas the Co-Pilot "Aiming Reticle" is illuminated. So it's clearly a Bug.
-
When I press "M" for "Aiming Reticle", only the Co-Pilot "Aiming Reticle" is activated / goes down, but not the Pilot's "Aiming Reticle". Also the Co-Pilot "Aiming Reticle" remains rigid and doesn't comply anymore to mouse or TrackIR movement. Need fix. This happened after the 1.2.6 latest update. Here my last Mission Track. Hope it's the right one. LastMissionTrack.trk

I couldn't find any Forum for UH-1H Huey, so I post it here. By the way, it's about time for a Forum to the UH-1H Huey. Thread shifted. Pls reply here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1874309#post1874309

I'm having a SPI-Wingman assignment problem: I made sure that the new target SPI (TMS up long / SPI-On in MFCD / laser set 1688), before assigning it! It used to work before though. After tasking my SPI to my Wingman's and sending him an "Engage Air Defenses" per Menu with an "Engage With/Missile" command, my Wingman neglects the current active Target Assignment and always return back to the first already destroyed Assigned Target Zone. As those previous targets were already destroyed, Wingman "rejoins" without action. I also noticed that the new triangular Assigned Target symbol is only activated after I've shot a missile. With TMS up long, there must be a second new target SPI triangle! Before the last 2 update, Wingmen used to fulfill their tasks properly. Now it's quite impossible to accomplish (for eg) any of the instant mission without Wingmen support! EDITED: 11.24.13 Due to ZIP compression, the prior TRACK attachment was corrupted. I've uploaded today a new TRACK and re-downloaded for checking and is OK. Here are the details: 17:10:30 WP1 SUPPLY Engage Air Defenses with Guns mission accomplished Pilot: 17:15:40 WP2 PATROL (Target: 1 SAM + 1 AAA) Engage Air Defenses with Guns (SPI: SAM) Wingman: 17:15:43: affirm Wingman: 17:15:48: Rejoin mission not accomplished Once more: Pilot: 17:16:52: Engage Air Defenses with Maverick (SPI: SAM) Wingman: 17:16:55: Roger Wingman: 17:15:48: Rejoin mission not accomplished Once more: Pilot: 17:16:55: Engage Air Defenses with Maverick (SPI: AAA) Wingman: 17:16:58: Copy Wingman: 17:17:02: Rejoin mission not accomplished 6 Lakes.zip

Re-saving the mission did indeed solve the issue! Good Tip. It seems after every new Update, all older missions must be actualized.
-
I've re-downloaded the Update and it's working fine now! Thanks
-
It can't just crush somehow, as it's orbiting on 3000 Feet. I've observed sometimes how it was shot on and taking casualties to crash. Attached Track file AFAC Convoy.zip

I'm registered and successfully logged in.

Yes. It has no way points, only Orbit position.
-
13. August Update of today has led to fatal errors where NO single mission is working again! There is no crash file. (see attachment)
-
I've set an OH-58D as AFAC and works fine. Even though I've added to it the Type/Action "invisible" & "immortal", it's still getting shot down! Why? Are there arbitrary "Conditions" to be added to make it work? Need a clue or reference to ME. Thanks

I've re-dowloaded the file. It's working now. So it wasn't a problem with JSGME.
