hi. so I few days ago I downloaded an update from DCS from STEAM. it was nearly 10 GB. so today I played the game and it told me that I have version 2.5.0 I do not wish to download any Beta files. only the finished version. did I download a Beta by accident or is 2.5.0 a finished version ?? Plus all my campaigns were returned to the beginning, is that normal ? many thanks.

so I am trying to play online. I am flying the SU-27. but when I start to play I have no missiles. only cannon. I tried to tell the ground crew to re-arm but they say unable ? what am I doing wrong ? maybe the server only allows cannon fire. how can I tell if the server is cannons only ? Hi. I am new to multiplayer. How does multiplayer work? I wish to fly the su27. What's the point. Is there a goal to complete, or its simply kill as many as you can?

I try to takeoff from the carrier but I don't get enough power and I crash into the sea. The manual tells me to press lshift e , but it doesn't work. Plus please can you tell me all the new key bindings for the su33. I know all the su27 key bindings. Thanks.

You said to drop flares. Flares are for heat seakers missiles. What about chaff? What should I drop?

When my wingman locks on to an enemy I should see his number on the bottom left of the enemy's icon on the HDD. But I do not ? Plus I do not see a closed triangle?

The you tube video is awesome. I have tried to repeat the tactics shown in the video. But when I tell my wingmen to attack target I do not see their number shown next to the enemy plane icon in the HDD. I am flying the su27. Maybe the ability to see such things is reserved for the su 33. Maybe there is an option in the options settings to enable to see wingmen's contact info in the HDD? Any idea's ?

I understand the name should not be the same as the campaign name, but it is. I have 3 wingmen and I come against many enemies. In quickly turns in a big battle and too many things happen. What should I do ? Radar on, ECM on ? Dive low in to the mountains . turn 180 And fly away from the battle. Too much is happening. Any advice??? Because it feels that to win the mission requires luck and not skill.

Hi. So I am playing fortress mazdok. I have 3 wingmen and I come against many enemies. I tell them to go line abreast and turn on radar and ECM. I tell them to engage enemy. But i keep getting shot down and fail the mission. Any ideas??? Many thanks.

Hi. Is there a key command that will dispense continuous chaf and flare together at the same time with just 1press of a button? And will continue until I press the stop button ?

OK. if I use my radar to lock on to a target, and then I fire a 27ET missile (thermal) can I remove the lock on the target and the missile will home onto the target, because its a thermal missile. thanks.

OK so I was reading a guide on the internet about how to fight BVR with the SU27. basically the guide said to forget BVR engagement because the SU27 missiles are crap ! how would you recommend me to fight BVR flying the SU27 ? the guide said I should fly low and use the mountains for cover? is it true to forget BVR with the SU27 ? Enable ECM? Use radar? many thanks.

hi. in the graphics options there is something called ' preload radius '. what does that do ? I have 32GB of ram, if that helps. thanks.
